My first memories of writing fiction involve a second grade assignment in which a fish searched for his home (what the?!). My love of writing came naturally, thanks to my father, who majored in Journalism in college, and although he chose a different profession, he never stopped writing.

Born into a service family Dianne was brought up in Singapore, Cyprus and Yorkshire then went on to marry a Civil Engineer and moved to the Arabian Gulf. Australian Author David McLintock has been writing his sayings since 1995. He still marvels at how they came about. Working late in his office one night a saying just popped into his head. Jonny Oates is a husband, father, airline captain, and author. He grew up in western Victoria, Australia, and developed a keen interest in aviation early in life, which led to an airline pilot career. Jonny currently operates domestically on a Boeing aircraft. As well as being a professional pilot, Jonny has other business and personal interests that keep him busy. In secondary school he excelled at mathematics and physics and today maintains an interest in a range of science-based disciplines as well as many of the humanities. History, philosophy, finance and politics are some of the subjects Jonny actively reads.
Jonny recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance complementing his interest in finance.
Additionally, Jonny has started a business in the energy sector, helping to reduce demand away from hydrocarbons towards a higher dependency on the sun’s abundant energy.
