I have written and published eight books since 2007. In 2015, I decided to publish them all on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions. Some are also in audiobook versions, narrated by me. My first three books are memoirs and form the Mug Trilogy. Potholes and Magic Carpets is a character-led novel and Random Bullets is a contemporary thriller with a paranormal twist. I have also published a non-fiction book, Living with Postcards which can also be found on Amazon.
In February 2016, I published a baker’s dozen of my short stories called Her demonic Angel written in different genres. Hopefully there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Her demonic Angel is available in paperback and Kindle as well as an audiobook that I narrated myself. The audiobook is for sale on Amazon, Audible and also on iTunes.
In 2016, I published Kindle, paperback and audiobook editions of another contemporary thriller with a fantasy twist called The Hostile. I also intend making audiobook editions of at least a couple more of my fiction books in 2016. It appears that this year will be as busy and productive year for me as 2015 was. However, writing is a profession that I am passionate about and so it won’t feel at all like work.

I was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands, too many decades ago to mention. I went by the almost impossible to pronounce name of Joy Houiellebecq until my marriage in 1984. My profession was graphic design for twenty years after gaining a Graphic Design Degree in Coventry. I lived briefly in London before moving to Kent for over twenty years. During my time in Kent, I worked as a graphic designer and became a wife, mother and divorcee.
After developing a chronic back condition in 2012, not wishing to claim benefits I took the bold, some might say foolhardy action of selling my house in Kent and moving to the North of England in order to help fund my long-held ambition of becoming a full-time published author. I now spend most of my days, including weekends and holidays, writing, designing and publishing my books in various formats, including audiobooks.

Tiffany grew up in the Seattle area in a time when the Super Sonics were huge and Starbucks was just a store at the end of the Market.
Tragedy struck early in her life as her family moved to New Jersey mere months before Bon Jovi’s “Slippery When Wet” album hit record stores. This is when he first felt an affinity with the Maya engineers that had constructed these wondrous cities. He had questions about their construction that could not be answered by archaeologists. This began his quest for the truth surrounding the brilliant Maya engineering technologies.
Returning to the United States, he worked in New York City designing landmark structures, like the Roosevelt Island Tramway, aviation projects and aerospace structures. In 1973 he returned to Atlanta to operate a branch office of the firm he worked for in New York. His investigation of Maya technologies continued parallel to his creative design projects. He often traveled to the Yucatan to explore remote Maya sites. His breakthrough revelation in Maya engineering projects was the discovery of the ruins of a Maya suspension bridge over the Usumacinta River at the ancient Maya city of Yaxchilan. This is the river that divides Mexico from Guatemala and the discovery and proof of the existence of this Maya bridge is the topic of this History Channel production. Additional investigation revealed other examples of Maya technology that are outstanding examples of engineering achievements that the Maya utilized a thousand years in advance of European technology.
His discoveries in Maya technology have been recognized in National Geographic Magazine and the monthly magazine the American Society of Civil Engineers, Civil Engineering, in addition to other scholarly publications. He has been invited to deliver numerous scientific papers dealing with his discoveries in Maya technology at international scientific and archaeological symposia.
His civil engineering education at Georgia Tech and an advanced degree from New York University gave him an excellent background for his professional career which has been devoted to bringing high-tech science to engineering. There is a lot of bad information on the internet and social media which can misguide people and take them down the path of weight loss failure. Time and time again I have seen people really motivated to start losing weight which is absolutely great! However, this unfortunately means they take an extreme approach to food intake, calories, and exercise. To start off with, people cut their food intake drastically. I have spoken to fellow gym members before who have told me – “I’ve cut my calories to 500 calories a day now and I’m not eating chocolate/sweets/biscuits anymore so I can lose weight.” – I’m afraid this is a recipe for disaster. The reason for this is this – your body will lose weight initially, but then it will wonder why it is being starved of food, therefore retain as much fat as possible and you will quickly hit a weight loss plateau.
The next thing to happen is that the person increases their weekly amount of exercise dramatically – exercise is increased to twice a day (1 hour weight training & 1 hour running on the treadmill), 7 days a week, rather than just keeping to a normal regime of 6 days a week, performing short, intense 1 hour weight training sessions daily whilst keeping active throughout the day (e.g. walking to work, 20-30 mins of moderate intensity walking). The person tries to stick to this routine for a while, but after 2 weeks they feel burnt out and lethargic, come off their diet/exercise plan, binge eat as they’re craving all the foods they have deprived themselves of, and then they’re back to square 1! In this ebook, I’m going to give you tips about how you can make LOSING WEIGHT SO EASY, you’ll be wondering why you haven’t tried these tips before!

Lillian Corrigan was raised in the suburbs of New Jersey. As a young person, she was quiet and studious. A full-fledged member of the nerd crowd, she maintained impressive grades. After winning a class contest allotting a “free pass” for a future homework assignment, instead of trading it in she saved it as memento, validating her nerd status.
At the age of three, Lillian strapped on her first pair of ice skates. She spent many winters in gliding around the lake at her aunt’s house.
