Thanks for looking at my book. I’m happy to have the chance to share some of my favorite recipes with you. These popular dishes have won the hearts of so many. Although I’ve been cooking Italian food for over 40 years, I love all types of food, especially Chinese food. Those were the two main types of restaurants in my neighborhood when growing up. Eating a hot slice of pizza straight out of the oven from a New York or New Jersey Pizzeria is one of my favorite things to do. Most kids love pizza, but the pizza I ate was mind blowing. Guys from Italy were making these pizza pies, and spoke very little English. So I guess it’s needless to say I’m a little spoiled and very critical about pizza and Italian food. For me the Italian gravy “red sauce” is always the star. When you taste real homemade tomato sauce you’ll remember it. People just don’t understand what the Pizza, Calzone, Chicken & Eggplant Parmesan and Hot Subs were like from the restaurants I frequented, unless of course they grew up in the area also. I’m sure there were hundreds of amazing Italian restaurants you could eat at back then, when within the New York and New Jersey borders. You’d always find a new gem by accident in N.Y, N.J. and even Pennsylvania, the hot spots for great food, especially Italian. Of course when the guy and his family from Italy are in the kitchen making your food, it’s usually a good thing. It’s like eating in Italy. Yes I’ve eaten food in Italy also. It’s about the person making your food, not which country or restaurant you’re physically in. A side note: I love eating in Epcot too, when visiting Florida. There are lots of imported chefs, working in Epcot cooking at the country specific restaurants. If wanting good international food without leaving the U.S. I highly recommend taking a 2 or 3 week food tour around the Tri-State area, and other spots too and taste everything. Don’t forget to spend at least a day in Philly to try those traditional Philly Cheese Steaks. I’m sure you’ll find some good Italian food there too. When I create a sandwich cookbook, I’ll be sure to squeeze in an original Philly Steak Sandwich recipe. Getting back to my childhood, and eating all of that Italian and Chinese food. I specifically remember during the late 60’s buying a slice of pizza at the local pizza parlor for around $0.30. Times have changed, and so have the prices, but great food is still out there if you know where to look. This book is an honest attempt to preserve not only the great flavors of food but point you towards some of the most delicious Italian recipes which have influenced the world. I believe the recipes in this book are about as close to the original Italian/American Classics as you’ll get. Chefs and restaurants from all around the world have made these classics. And I hope you’ll try to making some of these too.

Fred discovered that one of Chief John’s aides helped the killers with information; he wanted to use him to apprehend the killers. However, when the aide contacted DMI demanding Fred’s death, Sabo was sent by his boss to case out the aide’s residence for a possible strike. That night the mysterious killer murdered the aide. When Sabo was sent with his team to Ibadan to eliminate Alhaja Mogaji, another pro-democracy activist, he found her murdered but upon brief examination of the crime scene, he discovered a tiny piece of hair belonging to the mysterious killer. Meanwhile Fred discovered that all the people killed were not killed because of their pro-democracy activities, but because they had in their possession a document from FBI indicting the Head of State for drug trafficking. Sabo matched the hair with that of the SS Squad members and even with that of the Head of State without any result. However, that of the CSO to the Head of State was positive; Sabo reported him to the Head of State and thought that was the end of the matter.
