Who am I…?
I published my first book in elementary-Mystery of the Missing Tabby. The school library still has it, as far as I know. That was my first real work, and writing became priceless to me over the next years. In Jr. High, I had a teacher tell our class that none of us could match the classic authors that we would be studying. We weren’t good enough. I took that to heart and turned in an A- paper with a rookie mistake that prevented me from getting the respect I wanted from that lady. I hated it that she was right. I still do. I also adore her for waking my brain to the possibility that someday I could be as good as one of the iconic writers that helped frame the world of literature. I’ll never know if she did it intentionally or if she was just stating a fact, but it worked for me. I’ve never wanted to do anything else. Thanks to that drive, the fire she finished waking, I now live off my writing and run my own publishing company. I have more than a dozen novels out and thousands of fans. I have a long way to go before future children study me in schools, but I’m still just as hot for it now as I was in that stuffy, musty classroom in 7th grade.
So, that’s who I am. I am building, and living, the American dream. Who are you and what have you done?
That’s a hard question to answer if you’re still trying to get there. I understand. Here’s some free advice: Follow your dreams, even when the world says it’s crazy. Sometimes, you’ll find a life that satisfies you more than you ever thought was possible and it has nothing to do with cash or fame. Chase that, starting right now, and the next time someone asks who you are; tell them you’re an immovable force, a wild dreamer, a hopeful comet shooting toward the goals that orbit your existence. And then lift your chin. There aren’t many of us left who want to be good at what we do. Everyone else just wants that green shit.

Stutisheel Oleg Lebedev is a multi-faceted personality: an ultra-marathon runner and Ironman, an experienced project manager, a journalist and writer, a coach and motivational speaker.
He is the first runner from Ukraine and former Soviet Countries who finished the world longest certified Self-Transcendence 3100-Mile Race. He is a 9-time finisher and one of only 38 runners in the world who ever completed the Race.

My science fiction began as an undergraduate, with an assertion from a then girlfriend that I could not write a novel. I did, it was rejected, and I gave up. Another influence involved my entering Czechoslovakia from Poland on August 23, 1968, and this led to experiences that have moulded my views on the use of force, as well as influencing my descriptions of action. In 1986 I set up my own chemical research company and have since been involved with both major projects and small company start-ups, and when the 1980s financial crash struck, I returned to writing. I have since self-published ten scifi/futuristic/thriller novels in which besides entertaining, I try to show the scientific method and also include issue of military intervention, governance, and economics, thus drawing on my rather unusual background. I brought almost all of these to bear in my First Contact trilogy, and added in my interest in Roman history in the Gaius Claudius Scaevola trilogy.
Red Gold is an example of where this unusual background led to something that I suspect approaches being unique in science fiction. In order to use my experience regarding business start-ups, the story involved fraud during the colonization of Mars. To expose the fraud, I had to provide an unexpected discovery. What I provided started out as seemingly plausible, but the more I thought about it, the more plausible it became, as it also explained the unexpected river systems on a planet too cold for water to melt. After a lot of further research, I wrote the results up as Planetary Formation and Biogenesis. This may be the first time a SciFi novel has led to a plausible scientific theory, at least plausible to the extent that nobody has found anything to falsify it.
I now live in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, with my cat Horatio, my wife of 42 years having died recently. While I have largely worked in the private sector, I have still published 100 peer reviewed scientific papers, many of them single author papers. I have two projects continuing. One is the conversion of biomass to carbon for a company called Carbonscape; the other involves seaweed-based cosmetic skin gels under the brand name Nemidon. Just as the first scene unfolded with a life of its own, so too did the rest of the book. I would write when it was easy, when it was fun and when it had that energy of the first moment of conception.
The charactors or relationship between charactors and the events that were to unfold sometimes only in a few words, sometimes the entire scene, sometimes without words, just a sense of an energy not yet actualized. I played with it, I asked it to reveal what it would like to be.
Having never written a novel before and having no pre-conceived notion of the right or wrong way to procede I continued to follow whatever showed up, as the joy of it for me. I would write a few sentences on my iPhone, I would write for hours on my laptop, I would scribble notes on a napkin…this has been a playful creation that I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing!

Her books are a mixture of actual historical facts and events and sometimes people mixed with action and humor, challenges and adventures I recommend them for anybody who enjoys an excellent feel good clean romance story.
