I am pleased to say this is my third novella published on Amazon in both e-book and paperback. I enjoy writing adventure books with a little romance added as a bonus. Every time I travel somewhere new, whether local around Scotland where I live, or internationally, I am always on the lookout for new ideas. This book was inspired by a family holiday some years ago when I was in Bulgaria and got annoyed at the way bears were being treated for entertainment. I set out to try and get them free, contacting international animal rescue agencies and a year or so later there was a big push on stopping the misuse of bears in Balkan countries.
Teaching full time in a primary school I don’t always get to spend as much time writing as I would prefer. I am presently working on a selection of poetry as I have had some success with competitions recently but I am already working on another adventure as well as editing my second children’s book.

In college she took a few photography courses while earning a B.S. in Psychology. After college she explored her options, and in the meantime she took a job at a botanical garden. After that job, she returned to school to get an M.A. Education in Community Mental Health, however in her 2nd year she switched programs and ultimately gained her degree in School Counseling.
Rebecca discovered that the traditional jobs in the field did not fit her personality, thus she began her great adventure that has brought her to this moment.
Reflecting back on her life, a few things were consistent. She had always wanted to encourage and uplift people, she loved to write letters, and photography and creative exploration were ever present. Well, after working as a Diamond Technician, as a Toy Tester, as a Medical Engineer, an Art Teacher in New Zealand, an Avocado Packer, a member of Royal Security, (I could go on and on) I finally awoke from the happy whirlwind I had been riding. I found myself living back in the UK, with my beautiful wife Heidi and my two perfect little girls Connie and Bettie, wandering what I should do with my life.
‘In order to be happy you must finally do a job that makes you happy,’ I kept saying, ‘in order to support the ones you love financially, you must do what you’re best at’ I kept thinking!
Only one answer presented itself to me. I had always dreamed of writing and Illustrating my own Children’s Books, so, here I am, biting the bullet, waving ‘goodbye’ to procrastination, realising the dream!
