Joe Rosato is a retired owner of a Freight Logistics Company based in Shrewsbury, NJ and he worked in the freight transportation industry for over 43 years. He lives in Farmingdale, NJ and has two children and two grand children.

Joe Rosato is presently a tour guide at the New Jersey Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Foundation. He has volunteered at the memorial since 2007. Joe enlisted in the U.S Navy from his hometown of Brooklyn, NY on Dec. 7, 1966. His basic training was at The U.S. Submarine Training Center in New London, CT. Joe Rosato served in The Vietnam War at Yankee Station (Gulf Of Tonkin) in 1968 as a Helmsman aboard the aircraft carrier USS America CVA-66 and remained a crew member until 1970.

Joe also volunteered with The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for four years at the Manasquan Inlet, NJ. He also is a lifetime member of Vietnam Veterans of America, and holds memberships in The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He considers volunteering at the NJVVMF a passion for giving back some history to the youth of New Jersey.

In the not too distant future, technology has developed to the point where a person can be placed in a Sleep State, which is a cross between suspended animation and a drug induced coma. A time is pre-set to awaken the sleeper team, but, upon awakening, they learn that things have gone wrong. They now must find ways to carry out their mission in the new and strange world in which they find themselves.

Connie Lansberg is a singer/songwriter and now author based in Melbourne Australia. She’s had her original songs placed in some of Australia’s best loved TV shows that play around the world and The Connie Lansberg Quartet is a fixture in the Melbourne jazz scene. I’m not sure if 2016 will see the 3rd in this series being completed, but we shall see. Not being attached to a single genre, I tend to write whatever grips me at the time. This is what happened with ‘Unflinching’, my first Western. The story simply rolled out of me and, since its publication, it has become my most successful novel to date. It briefly received ‘best-seller’ status and continues to do well. I’m now fully immersed in the old West (in all honesty, Westerns have forever been my favourite era. The very first book I read was a Western and now I’m writing them myself!). I have written the 2nd in the series featuring the laconic Simms, a Pinkerton detective, and have a 3rd already planned out. This may well be my main focus now.
Nevertheless, despite the above, 2016 should see at least 3 more novels of mine published. Two more thrillers, and a horror set in Germany. You never know, I might even add that further Viking story and a couple more Westerns. Six books out in one year. Not bad, but I have a lot of lost years to make up for. I should have done all this twenty-odd years ago, but life tended to get in the way, as it often does. Now, writing gets in the way of life, which is a far better situation.

I’m not sure if 2016 will see the 3rd in this series being completed, but we shall see. Not being attached to a single genre, I tend to write whatever grips me at the time. This is what happened with ‘Unflinching’, my first Western. The story simply rolled out of me and, since its publication, it has become my most successful novel to date. It briefly received ‘best-seller’ status and continues to do well. I’m now fully immersed in the old West (in all honesty, Westerns have forever been my favourite era. The very first book I read was a Western and now I’m writing them myself!). I have written the 2nd in the series featuring the laconic Simms, a Pinkerton detective, and have a 3rd already planned out. This may well be my main focus now.
Nevertheless, despite the above, 2016 should see at least 3 more novels of mine published. Two more thrillers, and a horror set in Germany. You never know, I might even add that further Viking story and a couple more Westerns. Six books out in one year. Not bad, but I have a lot of lost years to make up for. I should have done all this twenty-odd years ago, but life tended to get in the way, as it often does. Now, writing gets in the way of life, which is a far better situation.
