Where do I get my ideas?
Everybody has ideas. The important question is, what do I do with them? As a teacher I use my ideas to understand literature. I take my ideas and turn them into stories for children.
I’ve been working with children for 15 years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Master’s Degree in Special Education, and a certificate as a Reading Specialist.
I’m the mother of a son, who provides the inspiration for my books and teacher-created materials that I create for Teacher Pay Teachers, so that all teachers, parents and children can benefit from them around the world.

About My Spirit Lover – First Contact:

Tucker French is in his early 20’s and currently resides in the great state of Maryland. Ever since he can remember he has been a fan of sci-fi books and movies.
During his childhood, he had a very active imagination and would often daydream about these types of adventures. It was always a dream of his to write a science fiction book that would inspire the imaginations of the readers, much like what these books did for him as a child. Every time he opened one of these books, he remembered being able to put the present aside, while simultaneously entering a new world where anything was possible. It is an amazing thing to experience, and he hopes to be able to share it with new readers of all ages in the future.
In 2014, he released his first novel, “Haven,” in the Origo series. A dying Earth, a future in peril, love and danger, all come together in this science fiction saga.
A year after “Haven” was released, Tucker released the second book in the Origo series, “Ghost,” along with two anthology stories that supplement the series. The third book in the Origo series is currently in the works.
In March of of 2016, a “found journal” style novella, “All Bulbs Are Not The Same,” was released by Tucker French. It bends genres and styles following a non-traditional narrative to tie emotion and feeling with the audience.

Q: What inspired you to write this novella?
A: My life. Most writers put a part of their experiences in their work. There are particular situations that Nat goes through that come from personal experience. I wouldn’t say it’s exactly biographical because Nat isn’t who I was as a teen, but let’s just say I know what she’s been through.
Q: So is the character, Natalie, similar to you in any way?
A: Her confidence, even though fake, is much stronger than mine ever was. I wouldn’t say boo to a goose, to use a British saying, which means that I was very quiet and withdrawn, suffering in silence, shall we say? Nat’s strength is fake, a front she puts on to cope with her mothers illness.
Q: Would you be happy to tell us what part of the book is a personal experience?
A: Yes, of course. Most of the book has been embellished to make it different to my life but the main experience I share with Nat is regarding our mothers illness. I had the same experience.
Q: Most teens have difficulties to deal with. What advice would you give to the teen version of yourself now?
A: To remember that you’re doing the best you can. Life will cause you all sorts of emotions, but emotions change. Situations change. You change. So, hang on when it feels awful, because soon enough, change will come.

“Rumors and Secrets” is the second instalment of ‘The Green Eyed Wraith’ trilogy. Tiffany is a young girl on a mission. She’s a senior level criminology student at Elmhurst College, but Tiffany isn’t going to class lately and nobody’s seen her on campus for days. She’s taken off to a small town nearby where she starts her own investigation into mysterious happenings back at the College. Just a few weeks ago, her best friend Kendall received a package from an anonymous sender. The package contained various books about necromancy and the summoning of ghosts. Yet, some of the books have disappeared and Kendall is having terrifying nightmares.
During Tiffany’s investigation, she meets some odd characters along the way and has to be careful about her true identity and purpose. In a small town, word gets around fast and once something has been buried, nobody wants to dig it up again. If Tiffany can cut through all the secrecy surrounding this small town, then maybe she can find out all the answers she’ll need to figure out just who is behind this strange new cult taking root at the College.
Meanwhile, back on campus, Kendall has made a new friend and they’ve been doing some investigating of their own. Kendall has neglected her studies, but nothing can deter her from getting to the truth. She meets some new characters as well, but these new faces may not be real at all. There are already strange rumors about ghosts surrounding the campus library, but Kendall might find out firsthand whether or not those rumors are true. Who sent the strange books to her dorm and for what purpose? Who is the green-eyed woman and what does she want? How far is Kendall prepared to go in order to find out?

Meet Vanessa Olsen, proud eBook author residing in Waterloo, Ontario with her affectionate cat, Nellie. She graduated from Ryerson’s prestigious School of Nursing in the spring of 2010 and now works as a sports nutritionist. As a child, Vanessa was known in her hometown of Gilford, Ontario for growing her own veggies in the backyard and captaining many different sports teams. It is no wonder she grew up to be the health nut she is while helping others with her health nut knowledge.Her job requires patience and a lot of research. Every work day, Vanessa educates athletes on different areas of diet, nutrition, and exercise. Each athlete is very unique, having distinct lifestyles, eating habits, training schedules, medications and supplements. All these elements need to be taken into consideration before an applicable action plan can be put together to better their health and performance. In a typical work week, Vanessa works with up to 30 different athletic clients.When Vanessa isn’t teaching athletes how to up their game, she can be found at the gym upping her own. Her protein powder collection is impressive – it’s usually the first thing she shows off when guests come to visit. This goes without saying that her favorite room in the house is the kitchen. She has a passion for creating and preparing her very own home-grown, nutritious recipes – many of which can be found throughout her eBooks!Vanessa’s job allows for lots of vacation days that she puts towards her infamous solo trips. Vanessa almost always travels alone as she says it helps her clear her mind and get back to her roots. Her solo trips have seen the likes of Cuba, Florida, Germany, France, Spain, and Britain. She has recently become curious to see what her own backyard has to offer, and has spent the past couple years pulling out a map of Ontario and planning a couple days away whenever she gets the chance. She hopes to retire into an RV, as she wants to see all of the United States in the form of one big road trip one day.Through her life, Vanessa hopes to make the world a better place through her small everyday actions. She is an avid recycler – her favorite type of recycling is picking up classic rock band tees from the thrift store and sewing them down to her size. The animal lover in her puts very special care and attention to making sure all of her beauty products do not test on animals and all meat she consumes is either game or brought-up by a responsible, free-run farmer. Her side projects include volunteering for her town’s litter pick-up day and putting money aside of organizations like Kiva and Avaaz. She hopes these tiny, everyday actions are creating a positive ripple effect that reaches all ends of the earth, and will continue to for many years after her departure from the world.
