About Sean’s Sunshine (The Flophouse) by Amy Lane
As a young detective, Sean Kryzynski expected violence on the job, not to get stabbed coming back from lunch. Add an angsty bedside breakup, and by the time he gets home from the hospital, he’s over everything, including his irritating, hot-as-balls nurse, Billy No-Last-Name with the big, cynical brown eyes.
Billy’s whole porn-model flophouse is experiencing a wave of altruism and adulting—people getting real jobs and going to shrinks and doing good works. Billy opts in too—he wants to be a good guy—but his assignment is taking care of the world’s most exasperating, headstrong patient. At least bunking with Sean means Billy has his own spare bedroom and some peace and quiet to do classwork.
The porn model and the policeman seem to have no common ground, but Billy’s experience herding his younger siblings helps him manage Sean with unexpected empathy—a skill Sean has been working on too, because he wants to be a good cop. Eventually they chip away at the walls around each other’s hearts and discover a real connection. If not for their incompatible day jobs and inconvenient pasts, they might even be falling in love….

Author Bio:
Award winning author Amy Lane lives in a crumbling crapmansion with a couple of teenagers, a passel of furbabies, and a bemused spouse. She has too damned much yarn, a penchant for action-adventure movies, and a need to know that somewhere in all the pain is a story of Wuv, Twu Wuv, which she continues to believe in to this day! She writes contemporary romance, paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and romantic suspense, teaches the occasional writing class, and likes to pretend her very simple life is as exciting as the lives of the people who live in her head. She’ll also tell you that sacrifices, large and small, are worth the urge to write.
Catherine: Roses and Thorns (Winter-Eden Series)
About Catherine: Roses and Thorns (Winter-Eden Series)
Catherine, a young Resistance fighter, is hearing voices and she thinks she’s losing her mind.
But when her mom is kidnapped by the Authority, possibly dead, Catherine must do all she can to save her.
Problem is, the Resistance won’t sanction the rescue mission. They say it’s impossible. A suicide mission. They say Catherine’s mom is dead.
But the voice Catherine is hearing is telling her otherwise.
Desperate and daring, Catherine and her small team of friends steal a top-tier train from the Resistance and launch a rescue mission against all odds. But they must infiltrate a heavily-armed base of the Authority—the totalitarian and evil government that has ruled them into ruins.
From the start, everything falls apart, and they find themselves in an epic race for the ages in a world where not everything is as it seems, where dark powers vie for control, as they try to outrun the all-powerful Akhenaten Authority and their very well-resourced forces.
On the brink of losing her mind, Catherine must lead her team to safety or die trying — through the dead of night and the bleakest of circumstances and maybe even supernatural happenings.

Author Bio:
This ambitious novel by me, AJ Diaz, is paced with deadly intention.
I was very inspired by 'Mad Max: Fury Road', and nachos, and birthday cake pops (my favorite).
My main inspiration, though, is wanting you to turn the page. And then the next page. And then eat a snack. And then the next page. And drink coffee, please. I don’t understand people who drink tea.
That’s enough from me.
I love you.
And I’m currently on my way to Starbucks.
I also wrote this novel because I wanted to reinvent the steampunk genre by adding magnets and the manipulation of polarity to the equation. In this world, different from our world, you can take control of the polarity of the planet, allowing you to fall from greater heights, and jump higher, and even build machines that run off of MAGNET POWER. You’ll see.
This book was formerly published under the title ‘The Girl With The Train,’ but I wanted to republish it under a new title. Because I can. Because I think 'CATHERINE: ROSES AND THORNS' is a much better title.
The end.
Chrysalis: A Memoir
About Chrysalis: A Memoir
While writing Chrysalis, my mind would, of course, return to the hospital room where I regained my life and freedom. As I strived to explain the experience, I noticed how it had changed me and set me on a better path to the rest of my life. This unusual experience, though difficult, improved how I react, and accept many good and not so wonderful things to come.
If I were to meet you and take your hand, if at that moment I could give this learning to you, how glad it would make me! I extend this hope to you in book form. My intent is to tell you to “never give up,” never to be so overcome that you stop. We all have moments. This gift I was given is to show you any pain is worth the promise of the life that awaits you tomorrow. It’s free, it’s within you…relax and accept. Move forward!
