Vance Huxley lives out in the countryside in Lincolnshire, England. He has spent a busy life working in many different fields – including the building and rail industries, as a workshop manager, trouble-shooter for an engineering firm, accountancy, cafe proprietor, and graphic artist. He also spent time in other jobs, and is proud of never being dismissed, and only once made redundant.

Eventually he found his Noeline, but unfortunately she died much too young. To help with the aftermath, Vance tried writing though without any real structure. As an editor and beta readers explained the difference between words and books, he tried again.

Now he tries to type as often as possible in spite of the assistance of his cats, since his legs no longer work well enough to allow anything more strenuous. An avid reader of sci-fi, fantasy and adventure novels, his writing tends towards those genres.

I am a U.S. Air Force veteran who served at the end of the Vietnam war. The Air Force found that I had a talent for languages, so they sent me to language school. Kell Inkston is an extrarealmic S.E.E.R. analyst tasked with viewing and recording causal events within lower universes. He compiles these writings on the side for the entertainment of the public and to take credit for it himself – the jerk. If you were to tag him with a single niche, it would be “multi-dimensional fantasy” though that itself isn’t quite on the money.

Michael Bailey is a freelance writer, editor, book designer, and a resident of forever-burning California. He is the recipient of the Bram Stoker Award (and 7-time nominee), Benjamin Franklin Award, over two dozen independent accolades, and a Shirley Jackson Award nominee.

Publications include the composite novels PALINDROME HANNAH and PHOENIX ROSE, two short story and poetry collections, SCALES AND PETALS and INKBLOTS AND BLOOD SPOTS, a limited two-novelette collection called OVERSIGHT and the standalone novelette OUR CHILDREN, OUR TEACHERS.

Elizabeth Massie, an eighth generation Virginian, has been writing professionally since 1984. Most of her works are in the horror/suspense genre (Sineater, Hell Gate, Desper Hollow, Wire Mesh Mothers, Homeplace, Afraid, It, Watching, Naked on the Edge, and more), but she also writes historical fiction, mainstream fiction (Homegrown), media tie-ins (The Tudors, Versailles, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dark Shadows), educational materials for American history textbooks, and poetry (Night Benedictions). Her first novel, Sineater, and her novella “Stephen” have both won Bram Stoker Awards from the Horror Writers Association. Her Tudors novelization (Season 3) won the Scribe award. Her short fiction can be found in numerous anthologies and several years’ best collections. She, along with Mark Rainey, is currently working on Ameri-Scares (Crossroad Press) a 50 novel series of spooky books for middle grade readers (age 8-12), a series which was optioned for television by Warner Horizon and which, as of December 2021, has 13 novels so far. She also continues to work on new horror novels and short stories for adults. On the Outside Looking Up: Seeking and Following God Beyond the Gates of Organized Religion, a nonfiction memoir/exploration of religious beliefs from the point of view of an un-churched believer, was released June 2016. A clear departure from horror, On the Outside Looking Up is part spiritual memoir, part musings on issues that religions tend to tackle, and part extended hand to un-churched believers to assure them they are not the only ones. A believer for years, Massie offers up her personal spiritual journey, struggles, and understandings to help bridge gaps between the unchurched, churched, and those who have no belief and/or no interest in religion.

A member of Amnesty International for more than 35 years, Massie writes numerous letters on behalf of victims of human rights abuses worldwide. She lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with her husband, talented illustrator and theremin player, Cortney Skinner, and enjoys hiking, geocaching, knitting, traveling roads she’s never been on before, and visiting amusement parks (the older, the better.) She founded and for nearly four years managed the Hand to Hand Vision project (on Facebook) that raised thousands of dollars to help others during these tough economic times. Though she has a home office, she likes to work at Starbucks a couple days a week. There she can feel like part of the human race. And have a chai.

As an African-American girl growing up in the not so great part of the gorgeous city of Chicago IL, I used my imagination and love of reading and writing to help navigate through the hard times. I spend many days writing poems and short stories on my grandmother’s dilapidated porch to escape the cold Chicago winters. I was a shy little girl with a loud outspoken family. I buried myself in books and my love of animals. My grandmother was a Louisiana Creole woman, who would tell her grandchildren magical stories about cats gifted with unique, magical abilities. As I grew older, I went to college and discovered my love of writing.

I took my love of my cat, my love of ancient Egypt, and my huge imagination and combined them to create my book entitled THE PHARAOH’S CAT.

My book is about Apollo an Ancient Egyptian Cat who’s magically transported to present day Chicago, who along with Tai, his best friend and streetwise sidekick fight strange creatures and help their human owner Justine get her confidence back.
