Brohdny Ricketts, attained his Master of Social Work at University of Southern California in 2019. Ricketts did most of his undergraduate work at University at Buffalo, he graduated from Empire State College with a B.S. in Human Development in 2017. After serving a tour in Iraq 2006-2007, Brohdny was an active-duty soldier until he medically retired from the Army in 2012.

Brohdny became a youth group leader, a drummer on the worship team and a Deacon for one year at Winchester Community Church 2013-2018. Prickly Hedge is run by me, Yvonne Richards. I live in the West Midlands in my very own Prickly Hedge – a beautiful garden that is home to all manner of wildlife.

Trained as a Personal Assistant with a degree in Administrative Management, communication has always been my forte. I have always written from a very early age, an avid reader with a good imagination, I have written novels and fanfic in my 50+ years on this planet but two things I’m passionate about – preserving our planet and its wildlife and the importance of children’s literacy. As a parent to two boys, I taught them both to read, write and do basic sums before they went to school, their father read to them every night of their life till around the age of 8. Sadly, neither of them took up their father and mine’s love of reading, but they have other talents and a more extensive vocabulary than most 30 year olds.

I also went into my children’s school and helped with literacy classes, helping slow learners/readers with their studies, which I thoroughly enjoyed. In another life, I would have been a teacher, I love helping children peek into the wonderful world of literature. So how better to combine my two passions, than to write children’s picture books, that do both?

Along with our beautiful garden that is indeed, just like Prickly Hedge, home to a plethora of wildlife from bees to badgers, this gave me the idea to create Bubble and Squeek, two hedgehogs who have fun and adventures in the garden they call their own, namely Prickly Hedge.

Through the stories and their adventures, they learn how best to help all their wildlife friends. It is hoped that this will inspire young readers to engage more with wildlife and hopefully begin to not only help preserve it but create habitats in which it can thrive.

Nowadays, there are many diet methods in the market like Keto diet & starch reduction diet. They are the skillsets for you to lost weight.

However, what’s more importantly, your mindset is the central core to losing weight in the long run as it really determines if you are happy in losing weight or keeping fit, and finally, it affects if you would give up the diet at the end.

Why do you feel pain in losing weight? If one keeps being painful and unhappy in a strict diet for losing weight, one cannot maintain it for long. And once you go back to a normal diet, your weight would rebound immediately and even more than before. We always hear from people who fail in the diet of losing weight suffer from this pattern. Therefore, many people are getting stuck in a repeated pattern of trying hard in losing weight and getting fat again and again.

So, why do many people fail in losing weight? The reason is basic. This is human nature. As a human being, no one can keep doing something that he or she feels pain for a long time.
