**A little bit about me**

Growing up, I was extremely shy and introverted. I have seen around me nothing and time has flown away immediately. I had lived my life as a negative, lazy, depressed young man.

One day everything changed – I looked myself in the mirror and finally I said enough, That so can’t continue. I reached the point of “emotional threshold” and finally made a decision that would shape my life forever.

I knew that I was so much more than what I was demonstrating in life. I knew I had potential, and had finally decided to tap into it.

I started a journey of transformation that would lead me to the live that I feel blessed to live now. Over the 5 years, I made many bold decisions to begin to design the life that I had always envisioned for myself.

Firstly, I started focusing on improving my personality and self-confidence. Throughout high school, I was socially hopeless and had many insecurities. I simply didn’t know how to relate to anyone, hold a conversation, or develop relationships with people.

The only way to transform myself socially would be to face my biggest fears around meeting people. I ended up spending years immersing myself in different social environments developing my social skills and confidence.

I eventually started helping others improve their social skills, confidence and relationships. It’s a passion that I still currently do and brings a lot of fulfillment to my life.

During 5 years of running my new live, it eventually led me down the path of self development.

I love to read – over the years I’ve consumed HUNDREDS of books on anything that could improve the quality of my life, on topics such as: aviation, self-help, biographies, business, marketing, psychology, health, fitness, spirituality, etc… I love to learn, and so. I believe the best investment you can make is in yourself.

I also have an immense passion for health and fitness, and have made an incredible transformation in my physical body over the years from being a scrawny weakling, to now on my way to competing in a fitness competition as a fitness model.

Grant Andrew Christie was born in Dundee and lives in London. He is married with two children. He has spent his working life as a Manager within the Building industry. Joey Salomone was born in 1984 in Kansas City, Missouri. Joey was home schooled, which allowed him a lot of free time to read and write. He began writing poetry as a teenager and continued to write throughout high school and college. Joey attended Northwest Missouri State University where he received a bachelors degree in Broadcasting and a minor in Creative Writing. After graduation, Joey moved back to Kansas City and made independent films for several years while working at several local area restaurants. He then became an educator and taught High School English in the Urban Core of Kansas City, MO for several years. After the school he was working at closed, Joey did sales for a few years then attended UMKC’s EMS Education program and received his Paramedic license. He worked for several years as a paramedic in Kansas City. After graduating from nursing school, Joey now practices as a nurse at a local KC hospital. He continues to read and write every day. Joey hopes to publish many more collections of poetry and prose, as well as several other projects he is working on. Joey and his brother Chris are currently writing a fantasy book series together and hope to release the first several books in 2020-21.
