- The Color of Love by Julianne MacLean
About The Color of Love by Julianne MacLean:
Carla Matthews is a single mother struggling to make ends meet and give her daughter Kaleigh a decent upbringing. When Kaleigh’s absent father Seth—a famous alpine climber who never wanted to be tied down—begs for a second chance at fatherhood, Carla is hesitant because she doesn’t want to pin her hopes on a man who is always seeking another mountain to scale. A man who was never willing to stay put in one place and raise a family. But when Seth’s plane goes missing after a crash landing in the harsh Canadian wilderness, Carla must wait for news… Is he dead or alive? Will the wreckage ever be found?
One year later, after having given up all hope, Carla receives a phone call that shocks her to her core. A man has been found, half-dead, floating on an iceberg in the North Atlantic, uttering her name. Is this Seth? And is it possible that he will come home to her and Kaleigh at last, and be the man she always dreamed he would be?

- Pirate–Book One–The O’Malleys
About Pirate–Book One–The O’Malleys:The word ‘amity’ means ‘peace and harmony-especially between nations.’
Not bloody likely.
Amity O’Malley is anything but peaceful or harmonious. Descended from a famous female pirate, and containing Irish Fae blood, she is not only a good pirate, but the best there is. You don’t want to cross her; her weapons and strength are unmatched by any on the North Atlantic, and the Achrann is the most powerful ship sailing the seven seas. She’s got (too much) whiskey, a sharp tongue, and plenty of power. She is almost invincible.
Then her twin brother Trevor decides to show up again and ruin everything.
The sibling rivalry is enough to make their poor mum turn over in her grave, but a tragedy forces them to stop fighting to get rid of a common enemy—before they lose everything, including each other.

The first thing I tell people is that I read the dictionary when I was five years old. That’s usually enough to surmise who really wants to talk to me. Smart people immediately ask for definitions of obscure words, most people just say “wow, that’s really weird.”Yes, it is really weird.
I read the phonebook too.
I started writing when I was about six, once I figured out that I could string words together that people would read. I won a book competition in sixth grade, but as my memory is no longer reliable I can’t tell you what it was.
I can tell you, it took me 36 years to write another book. I finished it after six years of writing it; I published it, and I hate it. It’s boring. So thus was born the ‘Pirate’ series. Books I wrote for myself just for fun, and decided to share them with others (a long agonizing decision, I assure you). I am an impatient person by nature, I don’t have time to wait for an agent to think my book is good enough to publish, and I’m not egotistical enough to think it will be a best seller (although one always hopes), so I published it myself. So far so good. People seem to enjoy it, and I’m currently writing book three (Book Two will be released in October).
So slainte, enjoy the Irish hothead!

- Wandering
Just because you’re having a midlife crisis doesn’t mean you have to shut down.
When Melissa Burovac faced 40, she chose to do it with a new backpack and a slush fund for margaritas. It didn’t matter that she couldn’t plan to save her life, or that she was only buying a ticket for herself. Somehow, she’d survived life on this planet for 40 years; she could certainly travel the world for nine months. And she did.
Wandering tallies her hilarious as well as poignant experiences as she travels from Mexico through Central America, sneaks into Cuba, and journeys from Australia to Cambodia and Thailand. Read about her misadventures with crocodiles and the times she encounters erupting volcanoes…and two hurricanes…and a wildfire.
Burovac’s stories will make you laugh while reminding you that life is an adventure—and sometimes you just need to pack a bag and get lost.

- Operation Wolfe Cub
PLEASE BE ADVISED: This Book 1 of The Time To Tell series continues into Book 2 and is a controversial work of historical fiction involving domestic and worldly problems. * * * * Nationally recognized ForeWord Clarion Reviews ranks Operation Wolfe Cub with 4 out of 5 stars. The Time To Tell begins in 1944. A plan is hatched inside of Germany in the pursuit of peace for a thousand years. A young baby boy is whisked away in the night, identifiable only by the anklet he wears on his leg and the markings he bears on his head. In the dead of night in a most unusual storm he is put on a vessel headed for the safety of America. And with him is carried the fate of mankind. Eddie Coolidge is a disabled American veteran who is unable to provide his wife Chantain with children…until the day he finds a mysterious baby washed ashore from a shipwreck near his home. Hoping against hope that this is the child he has always wished for, he takes the baby boy home to his wife. While at first elated, they soon begin to discover clues about the child’s origin as they watch in awe as he begins to demonstrate uncanny abilities… A thought-provoking work of historical science fiction, H. C. Wells’s debut of his The Time To Tell series is a fascinating look at America’s history and the possible, hidden truths behind it. A taut, well-paced thriller full of intrigue and almost unbearable suspense, Wells captures your attention from the novel’s opening action sequence and never relents, always staying two steps ahead with intricate plotting marked by sharp turns and surprising twists. A razor sharp ear for time and place lend authenticity, and the marvel of weaving a fictional tale infused by magical realism within true events is nothing short of astonishing. Full of gusto and quiet unease, Operation Wolfe Cub will have you questioning your beliefs and rethinking the meaningful moments of the past seventy years.
