   Author Bio:
   Uvi Poznansky is a California-based author, poet and artist. Her writing and her art are tightly coupled. “I paint with my pen,” she says, “and write with my paintbrush.”

   She earned her B. A. in Architecture and Town Planning from the Technion in Haifa, Israel. During her studies and in the years immediately following her graduation, she practiced with an innovative Architectural firm, taking part in the design of a large-scale project, Home for the Soldier.

   At the age of 25 Uvi moved to Troy, N.Y. with her husband and two children. Before long, she received a Fellowship grant and a Teaching Assistantship from the Architecture department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she guided teams in a variety of design projects; and where she earned her M.A. in Architecture. Then, taking a sharp turn in her education, she earned her M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.

   During the years she spent in advancing her career—first as an architect, and later as a software engineer, software team leader, software manager and a software consultant (with an emphasis on user interface for medical instruments devices)—she wrote and painted constantly. In addition, she taught art appreciation classes.

   Her versatile body of work can be seen on her website, which includes poem, short stories, bronze and ceramic sculptures, paper engineering projects, oil and watercolor paintings, charcoal, pen and pencil drawings, and mixed media. In addition, she posts her thoughts about the creative process on her blog, and engages readers and writers in conversation on her Goodreads Q&A group.

   Uvi published a poetry book in collaboration with her father, Zeev Kachel. Later she published two children books, Jess and Wiggle and Now I Am Paper, which she illustrated, and for which she created animations.    Life can be tough sometimes, there is no question about that. There are days when putting one foot in front of the other can be a daunting task, trust me, I know that, I’ve been there. After so many years of suffering from Complex Tourette’s Syndrome, and being close to spending my life in prison, I know very well and from experience that we can make very bad decisions in the blink of an eye.

   Now that we speak about time, it was also time that taught me that the most pain is experienced when we do not submit our lives to the Lord, but rather run from his will for our lives or be angry at him for the things in which we can not control or explain. Living life with Regrets is awful and if we only realized that we can live life without these regrets when washed by the precious blood of Jesus which completely takes away even the remembrance of our mistakes and flaws.

   I’ve seen almost everything in my life, and this is why I can honestly tell you that in my darkest hours, divine inspiration was the lightest of beams that never left me alone. This was my rope to get out of the hole, and once I did it, I used this inspiration to write books filled with words of love, grace, and compassion. This has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life because my books have helped a lot of people to feel better, and this is great for being a person who was diagnosed with mental and physical limitations.

   Life is an amazing experience if you are willing to make it happen

   I talk about my “limitations” with joy actually.To me, these have been a constant reminder of my strength and willingness which comes from Jesus Christ to overcome any obstacle. His Spirit has made a way for me always, rivers in the desert, over mountains and through deep, dark valleys. Even with the obstacles and the “Limitations” this once “High School Flunky” has been able to mass degrees in various subjects from Law, to Forensics, and Psychology from Colleges and Universities such as Canterbury, Ashworth, St. James Theological Seminary, and Kingdom College.

   This is not about me – It is about God, and what he can do with even you!

   The words of inspiration that I share through my books are a gift. You’ll very soon discover that the price you pay to get access to them is not as valuable as the messages you can find inside of each of my works. These are all crafted with great care and dedication so that other people can take advantage of the knowledge and expertise shared there and improve their lives. As a reborn man in my faith in Jesus, I have now discovered that life is not about receiving, but about giving. Since we are born we learn that we need to receive things in order to receive more. Get good grades so you can get a title, so you can get a job, so you can get and raise a family, so you can get blessings. However, this process is very complicated, based on egocentric actions, and easy to overthrow due to it is only about one person. On the other hand, if we switch our soul, mind, and body, to a giving mode, true miracles start to happen, it is not about me anymore; it is about us, your problems become my problems, pain in spread and soon enough you discover that pain is too small to be in all of us.

   This is why I think that being able to share my experiences and my knowledge through my books is fantastic. It is my genuine pleasure to share my messages with you, and now that you know the person behind, you also know that my books are not about me, they are about and for you.
