  1. Voluptuous Vindication by Rose Wynters

About Voluptuous Vindication by Rose Wynters:

Once upon a time, the world was just a black void. Then one day man came, but he wasn’t alone. He was followed by an ancient evil, a scourge determined to steal his soul. Centuries passed. Humanity did all it could to protect itself against the evil ones, but they weren’t equipped to fight this battle. Instead, all they could do was pray that Hell didn’t set its eyes upon them.

It got to be too much. Something had to be done.

Born out of desperate need, warriors were chosen. Immortality was granted to those strong enough to fight the battle that would never end. No longer mortal, these men have stood in the path of dark and horrifying evil, bearing the load when there was nobody else that could.

It’s all coming to an end. Time has ran out for humanity…
    No good deed goes unpunished…

Ian Bauer was the Endurer that had it all. With great looks and plenty of money, he had never regretted his immortality… But fate had other plans for him.

Reeling from a tragic event, he’s forced back into the fight between good and evil when demons set their sights on an mortal angel. He has to keep her alive for four weeks, something easier said than done.

Ian never counted on the wicked attraction that flares up between them.

  4. Crimson Rain

    Crimson-Rain-750x1125About Crimson Rain:

What would you do in a world where everything is legal and the laws in place don’t protect anyone but the rich? What would you do if you could be bought and sold on a whim? What would you do if your sister was kidnapped by a vicious cult of raiders? If the option to genetically splice your body to become stronger, faster, or more intelligent were available, would you use it? What makes a human a human? Where are the lines?

Several decades after a nuclear catastrophe rocked the globe only two bastions of civilization stand secure on the planet. Amongst the technology and the relative peace and serenity, though, lies a darkness that is kept anything but secret. The government allows the rich to victimize the poor and large corporations to kidnap people like guinea pigs for their experiments.

Two corporations seek to overthrow the governments and reach for global domination. Meanwhile, three unlikely heroes are seeking change, each one for their own purpose. Can they stop the change that is to come before it is too late or will they fail, dooming the earth to slavery at the hands of these evil corporations?

When the government finally intervenes, will it be for the benefit of all humanity, or just themselves? Whose side would you pick? Who will win?

    Author Bio:
Not much is known about Tex’s early years. Many are unsure of how old he is or where exactly he came from. He has been heard on a few occasions telling people his first memory is of awakening in a laboratory in which they were testing a chemical known as TXZ-871. This chemical compound is known to erode the mind and cause delusions of grandeur. After several doses the patient is rendered psychologically insane but left with extreme amounts of creativity. Some test subjects in the trial were even able to project their own mental image of themselves externally, resulting in the morphing of size, shape and form. Tex has been documented as one of the prime examples of this and nobody is really sure what he actually looks like. Due to the damage caused by this drug, Tex believes himself to be a self employed spy and travels the world seeking clues to his own origin. He says that there are secret messages encoded in his literary works and that others that have been exposed to the compound will be able to decode it. His residence, is always changing. His look is never the same, and many say he doesn’t even exist but is merely the apparition of another test subject.

    Day Zero
About Day Zero by Sean Cregan

Sale price: 75% off from Feb 28 to March 6!

When an alien race known as the Surge arrives on Earth with deadly force, three high school kids in Philadelphia find themselves at the center of the fight for survival in a city tearing itself to pieces in panic. Hunted by creatures hell-bent on hauling them off to a fate they can only guess at, the teenagers must deal with their shock and grief at losing everyone they held dear as they struggle to stay one step ahead of both the invaders and the forces of a wealthy corporation which seems to know more about the assault than it should.

Kyle’s dad worked for the company. His last contact with his estranged, rebellious son was to send him a gift which could now prove the key to unlocking the Surge’s plans, as well as giving the kids the means to fight them. With his friend Stef, whose own tragic past gives them an unlikely edge against the aliens, and street-smart runaway Alex, they’re in a race where there’s no prize for coming second.

If the three sixteen-year-olds are going to learn the truth, about themselves as well as the aliens, find out why the Surge came, and maybe determine whether or not humanity has any hope of holding them off, they’ll have to trek a thousand miles across country from the ruins of Philadelphia to the Gulf Coast and Kyle’s dad’s final posting.

But that’s for the future; right now they can’t afford to look that far ahead.

First they have to get out of the city itself. First they have to survive day zero.

  6. GREAT TALKS, NO SWEAT: How to Speak with Confidence and Charisma to Any Audience by Stan Munslow

51U+jEXXT7L._SS140_SH35About GREAT TALKS, NO SWEAT: How to Speak with Confidence and Charisma to Any Audience by Stan Munslow:

Unique Learn & Affirm program will give you the poise, power, and pizzazz you need to lead, convince, and inspire in any speaking situation!

Think about it … If you’re in business and give talks lacking in confidence, expertise, or charisma …

    - you don’t lead

    - you don’t convince

    - you don’t sell

Here’s the problem: In my work as a speaking coach people tell me all the time how much they dislike, even hate, speaking before others.

And is it ever obvious when I sit in on their presentations … the shaky voices, the tense and uninspiring delivery, the red faces and off-putting body language.

“I look stupid,” they tell me. “I sound like a dolt.” Or, “I put everyone to sleep.”

And beyond looking bad and feeling worse, what they say they hate most is the thought of “blowing it” in front of the boss, or perhaps losing a sale.

Bottom line: Bad talks are bad for business.

If you work in today’s business world, it’s a safe bet that you, too, find yourself “up there” in the front of the room from time to time, giving talks or presentations while secretly wishing you were anyplace else.

But you do it anyway. You have to. It’s part of your job. And wouldn’t you agree that communication in business is vital? To your company? To you? You bet it is! Your success, prestige, prospects for advancement, and income all depend on your ability to convince others by giving talks with:

    - confidence

    - expertise

    - charisma

And, if you’re like most people, you would just as soon kiss a cobra as speak before others! If so, I promise you that reading this book will change your life because it will teach and inspire you to speak with more confidence, more expertise, and more charisma.

And, yes, you most certainly will increase your chances of success, advancement, and a higher income.

As a colleague told me a while back, “Giving a great talk impresses people better than a Rolls in the driveway and a Rolex on your wrist.”

No matter what sort of speaking situations you may find yourself in …

    - delivering reports

    - presenting sales talks

    - hosting events

    - teaching classes

    - delivering lectures or seminars

    - conducting or attending meetings …

… it is highly likely that you’ve experienced some form of discomfort or anxiety, commonly known as “stage fright.” In fact, did you know that speaking before others is consistently ranked the #1 FEAR IN THE U.S.? The #1 fear! That puts it ahead of all the other “heavy hitters” such as spiders, financial ruin, even death!

Stage fright can take many forms, from basic discomfort to more serious freezing up before others. Maybe you’ve drawn one too many memory blanks or tripped excessively over your words. Perhaps you’ve stood there looking timid or uncomfortable. In any case, this is not a good way to impress a crowd … not to mention a boss or client.

If you’ve ever experienced anything of the sort, let me share with you a couple of trade secrets right now:

First: Acquiring the skills to speak before others with total confidence will not only eliminate the unpleasant symptoms of stage fright, it is THE ANSWER to just about everything else that will make you a more successful speaker. Things such as:

    - Strong, articulate voice-quality

    - Improved poise and appearance

    - Convincing delivery

    - Connection with your audience

When you’re up there and you feel good and gutsy everything else just falls into place.

This book is a collection of all the best lessons I’ve learned over the course of my many years as a teacher, seminar leader, and professional musician. Lessons that taught me how to get loose fast and be at my best in front of any audience. Lessons that taught me how to make sure that my audiences enjoy being there as much as I do.

Read them, put them into practice, and I promise that you will look forward to your next talk with fewer shakes, a looser gut, and a heap more confidence!

  8. The Hurting Game by Nathan Gottlieb

Facebook-Profile_The-Hurting-Game-2About The Hurting Game by Nathan Gottlieb:

What would you do if your best friend was killed right in front of you, and the assassin fled without a trace and was never found? Would you wait forever for justice to run its course, or take it into your own hands?

What would you do if you were a private investigator specializing in defending indicted felons but was forced to switch to the other side of the street to hunt down a killer? If your family is threatened along the way, and someone tries to kill you, would bringing the murderer to justice satisfy you? Or would you want something more?

Welcome to the murky world of boxer Danny Cullen and former legendary DEA agent Frank Boff, a world where the line between right and wrong gets bent out of shape and the only real satisfaction is vengeance.

They are the unlikeliest of teams. Cullen is a disciplined professional boxer who plays by the rules. Boff is a maverick investigator who believes anything goes as long as he doesn’t get caught doing it. They have nothing in common except the mission: find out who killed Cullen’s best friend, world champion boxer Julio Babbas.

Neither attempts to hide their disdain for each other. But like it or not, they find themselves travel partners on a journey into a Shadow World where Cullen’s friend lived and died. What they find there shocks Cullen and eventually pulls him over to the Dark Side, a place Boff calls home. Constantly in conflict, they find a common ground: find the killer and seek a punishment more just than justice: “The Hurting Game.”

  11. Vardin Village

    48-Vardin-Village-Cover-resized-48About Vardin Village:

Sixteen-year-old, George Vardin, lives in Perfectville, MidAmerica in a crappy, ramshackle cottage. The electricity was shut off weeks ago, the roof is about to implode and the creaky front porch overlooks the ancestral mansion that his father lost because of his drug abuse. George is not sure which is more breathtaking; the view or the irony. George’s life is about to suck even more because school starts next week and he can’t scrape up enough money to pay his cell phone bill let alone the fee to play varsity football. Uncle Morris shows up from one of his weird international jaunts and offers a creative solution to keep George and his sister together under one roof. It’s a much larger, less leaky roof, with a breathtaking view of the crappy, ramshackle cottage. Crafty Morris reveals a secret tunnel that leads to the mansion and consequently some Vardin family secrets that will make junior year unforgettable.

Reginald, the proper curator of the mansion-turned-museum, has his doubts about the new living arrangement but he also has good reason to befriend George. Morris enlists the aid of a waitress from the diner and a cranky old security guard to make up the proverbial “village” that’s needed to raise a child. Even a slightly dysfunctional, eccentric village can get the job done unless, of course, a greedy lawyer and his popular quarterback son hate your guts. It seems not all of the villagers are buying into the pesky proverb. It seems some villagers don’t want to raise a child. Some villagers just want to destroy George and shred what’s left of his family name. To stay in Vardin Village, George must follow clues left by his grandfather to unlock the past and preserve his future.
