- Nameless, Blameless Reproduction
About Nameless, Blameless Reproduction:
Pertinent to current life and trends in medicine, this fiction is about a possible HIV cure. An obstetrician adopts a baby with HIV and seeks to cure the infant through a stem cell donation from an individual lacking the CCR5 receptor. This individual is the obstetrician’s brother, a gay man who lost his partner to HIV while he remained unaffected.
Exploring highly charged, emotional terrain without names or labels, the story precludes the blame and judgment so often associated with issues like this and instead puts laser focus on this transformative human journey to stunning effect.Learn more about the author, buy the book, or follow them on social media:

JACH, MD, is an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certified obstetrician-gynecologist practicing in Houston, Texas. She weaved this novel from many inspirations. The first is the discovery of individuals lacking the CCR5 receptor making them resistant to HIV infection. The second is news of Berlin Man, the first person known to receive a stem cell donation from a person lacking the CCR5 receptor, thus curing himself of HIV. The idea of a stem cell cure for HIV is real, and yet finding a stem cell match for a recipient can be near impossible. She wanted to create a compelling novel that would draw people to this topic and stimulate more ideas and knowledge about this very interesting concept. She further drew inspiration from her years of being an obstetrician-gynecologist taking care of women with infertility, while also taking care of women with unwanted fertility; a bitter fact of life is that maternal desires and fertility don’t always match up.Nameless, Blameless Reproduction is a post from Awesome Gang
- Cross the Ocean by Holly Bush
About Cross the Ocean by Holly Bush:1871 . . . The very proud Duke of Wexford was about to have his orderly world blown apart. At the age of nineteen Blake Sanders had wed a beautiful, dutiful wife and she had borne him three children. But now as mid-life approached, the Duchess had the unheard of temerity to leave him! Too mortified by her behavior to mix in ton company, Blake sought companionship with his best friend and neighbor, Anthony Burroughs and his wife Elizabeth. But Blake had forgotten the Burroughs were entertaining a houseguest, Elizabeth’s distant cousin, a spinsterish ‘Amazon from America’.
Gertrude Finch, a champion for women’s rights, had long ago decided most men were pretty useless other than Uncle Fred who’d raised her on his horse ranch near Chicago. While traveling with other Suffragists, Gert lectured women on the perils of passion and the value of independence but thought of neither when Blake kissed her. While opposite in nearly every way, other than an attraction neither could deny, their one night of passion would change her world, and send Gert scurrying her way back home across the ocean.
When Blake discovered his heir had stowed away on Gert’s ship, he set out on his own adventure to America, to bring the boy home and to see Gert once again. Traversing America’s vast wilderness, Blake discovered that this tall, loud Suffragist had changed his life. Whether riding the rails or meeting common folk, Blake saw a whole new way of living but most of all, he realized something about love. He found he was not immune, and his heart could love, and love deeply.

- What I Wish EVERY Job Candidate Knew: 15 Minutes to a Better Interview
About What I Wish EVERY Job Candidate Knew: 15 Minutes to a Better Interview:You CAN Interview Better in 15 Minutes – Let a Hiring Manager Teach You How
Stop Making Mistakes Candidates Make Over and Over Again – Do You Want the Job?
Learn from my 20 years of interviewing and hiring people just like you, across multiple Fortune 500 companies.
You’re qualified for the job – it should be yours. Let me show you what goes through the head of the interviewer so you can use it to your advantage. An advantage others won’t have.
I’ve captured a highly condensed set of recommendations in this book that will put you in the very small set of interviewees that will stand above other candidates. Whether you are seeking an entry level or an experienced management position these recommendations will give you the edge. I see “bad” behaviors across all levels of interviews, without candidates even being aware of what they are doing that prevents them from being hired. You don’t need to memorize 101 interview questions and answers. You need actual experiences from the other side of the table to guide you.
˃˃˃ Listen to Hiring Managers
Is the book you’re reading now written by the person who decides to hire you, or by someone else involved in the process such as a recruiter or human resources role? If so their guidance may get you an interview, but won’t give you insight into what goes through the manager’s head.

I am a corporate executive with over 23 years of experience in the technology industry. I have directly or indirectly been responsible for hiring and managing over 100 employees throughout my career.I am also a husband and a father of two wonderful children, and we call Denver home.
I have personally witnessed the same mistakes being made OVER and OVER again in interviews – regardless of whether it is an entry level position or a senior management position. I wish I could stop these interviews mid-stream and let the candidate know what they are doing wrong – however, HR will not allow me to do that.
So I have taken to the written word to share my collective experience over 2 decades to help YOU avoid these mistakes and get that job you’ve always wanted.
The difference between my books and others you will find on interviewing: I’m an actual hiring manager, and I make the decision to hire someone. Too many books are written by other participants in the process – recruiters, human resource individuals, resume experts. While they may all provide good guidance, these people do NOT make the hiring decision, and can’t know what is influencing the decision in real time. This is the value I bring to the table.
I’ve worked for both Fortune 500 companies as well as startups. I’ve hired call center workers and Directors. My career has included time spent at giants such as Microsoft and Motorola. I’ve also been at startups and experienced the anxiety of wondering if we would make payroll each week.

It was a childhood dream to write a book and one which came true last month with the publication of my first novel, The Lights of Home on Amazon. It first came out on Kindle, and I’m delighted to say it is now also available in paperback. Hopefully it won’t stop there! I became so engrossed in the characters I created that I didn’t want to put them away and forget about them. So I decided to keep writing and have loved bringing these great characters back to life again.I have moved around a lot during my life, having been born in Ireland, I moved to the Isle of Man for many years, during which time I studied Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa. I then went on to open my clinic on the Island, where I met so many fantastic people. I loved seeing the transformations acupuncture made to so many of them.
I returned to Ireland in 2011 where I now live with my ten year old son Jasper, who has been a constant source of amusement and encouragement to me while I have been writing.

When I was a child my mother kept a black suitcase in our basement. She forbade me to look inside. Of course as we all know the way to spark a child’s curiosity is to tell them they are forbidden to do or see a particular thing. One afternoon when my mother was out, I raced down stairs. Nobody was around so I opened the suitcase. Inside I found pictures and letters in a foreign language. Later that night I asked my mother what all of it meant. She told me that she was trying to protect me by keeping the suitcase out of my reach, but since I’d found it I might as well know that she and my father both lost their entire extended families in the Holocaust. So began my obsession with the Nazi occupation of Eastern Europe. Being that my father was Romany and my mother was Jewish, I had many aspects to research and much to learn. Finally, many years later…I wrote my first novel. It is set in this period. It comes to you, along with all of my work, from my heart, with love and hopes that someday there will be understanding and tolerance among all peoples. I thank you so much for your interest in my writing.Love, Blessings, Good Fortune, and as the Gypsies say Good Road to all of you,
