   JACH, MD, is an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certified obstetrician-gynecologist practicing in Houston, Texas. She weaved this novel from many inspirations. The first is the discovery of individuals lacking the CCR5 receptor making them resistant to HIV infection. The second is news of Berlin Man, the first person known to receive a stem cell donation from a person lacking the CCR5 receptor, thus curing himself of HIV. The idea of a stem cell cure for HIV is real, and yet finding a stem cell match for a recipient can be near impossible. She wanted to create a compelling novel that would draw people to this topic and stimulate more ideas and knowledge about this very interesting concept. She further drew inspiration from her years of being an obstetrician-gynecologist taking care of women with infertility, while also taking care of women with unwanted fertility; a bitter fact of life is that maternal desires and fertility don’t always match up.

   Holly Bush was born in western Pennsylvania to two avid readers. There was not a room in her home that did not hold a full bookcase. She worked in the hospitality industry, owning a restaurant for twenty years and recently worked as the sales and marketing director in the hospitality/tourism industry. Holly has been a marketing consultant to start-up businesses and has done public speaking on the subject.

   Holly has been writing all of her life and is a voracious reader of a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction, particularly political and historical works.    Author Bio:
   It was a childhood dream to write a book and one which came true last month with the publication of my first novel, The Lights of Home on Amazon. It first came out on Kindle, and I’m delighted to say it is now also available in paperback. Hopefully it won’t stop there! I became so engrossed in the characters I created that I didn’t want to put them away and forget about them. So I decided to keep writing and have loved bringing these great characters back to life again.

   I have moved around a lot during my life, having been born in Ireland, I moved to the Isle of Man for many years, during which time I studied Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa. I then went on to open my clinic on the Island, where I met so many fantastic people. I loved seeing the transformations acupuncture made to so many of them.

   I returned to Ireland in 2011 where I now live with my ten year old son Jasper, who has been a constant source of amusement and encouragement to me while I have been writing.

   When I was a child my mother kept a black suitcase in our basement. She forbade me to look inside. Of course as we all know the way to spark a child’s curiosity is to tell them they are forbidden to do or see a particular thing. One afternoon when my mother was out, I raced down stairs. Nobody was around so I opened the suitcase. Inside I found pictures and letters in a foreign language. Later that night I asked my mother what all of it meant. She told me that she was trying to protect me by keeping the suitcase out of my reach, but since I’d found it I might as well know that she and my father both lost their entire extended families in the Holocaust. So began my obsession with the Nazi occupation of Eastern Europe. Being that my father was Romany and my mother was Jewish, I had many aspects to research and much to learn. Finally, many years later…I wrote my first novel. It is set in this period. It comes to you, along with all of my work, from my heart, with love and hopes that someday there will be understanding and tolerance among all peoples.
