   I am a very boring person with an extremely over-active imagination! I love to write, read, swim and spend time with the kids, and their ever growing army of friends. Writing is something I’ve dreamed of all of my life but I was too much of a coward to have a go until 2012. I was shocked beyond words when I didn’t receive an avalanche of boos, hisses, and ridicule, and have found that some people do like my stories! The moral of that story is; don’t believe your head when it keeps telling you that you would be useless at something you really want to do. You might just be able to do it without your world collapsing around your ears. It’s always good to have a go.

   Oh, I also love ‘Breaking Bad’ and was gutted when the extremely well mannered psychopath ‘Todd’ had captured poor Jessie with that Jack weasel! Thank the lord that the fascinating narcissist ‘Walt” at least had the decency to free him. ‘Game of Thrones’ is the current obsession with maybe ‘The Walking Dead’ a close second cos that guy Rob, is very pleasing to the eye, and a very good actor too, which is, of course, what I meant with the first part of that sentence.

   Anyway, that’s me; utterly boring but constantly exited about being part of the reading and writing community. Long may it last!

   Born and raised in the coastal English town Lowestoft, it should come as no surprise (to those that have the misfortune of knowing this place) that I became a horror writer.

   From an early age I was sent to schools which were at least 30 minutes’ drive away and so spent most of my free time alone, as the friends I did have lived too far away for me to be able to hang out with them in the weekends or holidays.

   I have been a writer as long as I can remember and have always had a vivid imagination. To this very day I find it all too easy to just drift away into my own mind and explore the world I create; where the conditions always seem to be just perfect for the cultivation of ideas, plots, scenes, characters and lines of dialogue

   I am married and have four wonderful children; James, Logan, Ashleigh and Damon. My biggest dream for them is that they grow up, and spend their lives doing what makes them happy, whatever that is.

For me, the greatest compliment I can receive is not based on rankings but by knowing that people enjoy what I produce, that they buy my work with pleasure and never once feel as though their money would have been better spent elsewhere.

   I’m an English author now living in France. I’ve published several novels under a different name, but I’ve always enjoyed romances so thought I’d try my hand. The area in which the book is set is one which I know very well, as it’s roughly the area I’m now living in – though some places have been disguised to protect the innocent!
