I grew up south of Chicago in a small industrial type town where I attended an all girl’s Catholic school run by ‘the sisters’. I served in the U.S.A.F. where I met my awesome husband. I have a BS in BA and I’m a CPA. I’ve written several screen plays, none have made it to the big screen (maybe someday). I began writing six years ago. At first as a hobby, but now it’s a passion. The Harvest is my first published novel and the first in a series. The story is about survival when humans are no longer the fittest on the planet. I draw inspiration by observing everyday life; people, billboards, my dogs, commercials…I enjoy stories about real people in extraordinary circumstances, but enjoy some fantasy as well. Anne Rice and Stephen King are two of my favorites. The Harvest is a post from Awesome Gang
- Dead Before Morning by Geraldine Evans
About Dead Before Morning by Geraldine Evans:DI Joe Rafferty, working-class lapsed Catholic, is cursed by coming from a family who think – if he must be a copper – he might at least have the decency to be a bent one. When you add the middle-class, moralistic intellectual DS Dafyd Llewellyn to the brew the result is murder with plenty of laughs.
‘This often comic tale sharpens the appetite for more.’
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY

AUNT AGATHA’S BOOKSHOP, ANN ARBOR
BOOK BLURB
Detective Inspector Joe Rafferty has just been promoted. Then he lands the case from Hell, one involving a corpse with a mutilated face, a private psychiatric hospital and Dr Anthony Melville-Briggs, the suave, social-climbing owner, who thinks his money can buy everything, even the police.
As if that isn’t enough, his Ma, Kitty Rafferty, has another little problem for him: to get his distant cousin out of the cells in time for his wedding. Against his better judgement, Rafferty promises to get his cousin sprung, though he is careful not to give a time-scale for the Great Escape.
Struggling, with no solution in sight, it is only when he is reminded of his forgotten promise and goes to see his jail-bird cousin, that Rafferty begins to put the case to bed.

After eighteen traditionally published novels (Macmillan, St Martin’s Press and several more), Geraldine Evans took the intrepid indie road and turned independent in 2010.She’s happy to report that she hasn’t yet had reason for regret. She’s now, for the first time in a writing career that encompasses over half her life, making a living income. And, being a bit (a lot) of a control freak, she enjoys the freedom to choose or create her own covers and make all the other decisions about her books that used to be her publishers’ province.
Actually earning a living from her writing has energised her and refreshed her love of words, which had been getting a bit tarnished as a trad author.
Geraldine is a Londoner, but, in 2010, she and George, her much-missed late husband, moved to a market town in Norfolk (UK). She loves the more leisurely pace of life there after London’s endless whirlygig.
In the new year, she plans to write two new books: the first, Asking For It, will be #16 in her popular Rafferty and Llewellyn mystery series. The second book is another historical, this time set in the Plantagenet era and will (like Geraldine’s first historical, the Category Amazon No 1 Best Seller, Reluctant Queen, about the little sister of Henry VIII), be a fictionalised account of another real character. All that stands between Geraldine and her plans is finishing her annual accounts, which are still dragging on (and on and on…).
Geraldine enjoys a variety of interests, including growing plants from her own seeds and cuttings, playing keyboards (and annoying the neighbours!), painting portraits in oils of her family, who are mostly reluctant to be captured by her esoteric brush. And, if you saw the results, you wouldn’t blame them! Think Addams family on a bad day.
Geraldine sends a (very) irregular NEWSLETTER, so don’t worry that your over-burdened inbox will be inundated with ‘BUY ME’, ‘BUY ME’ cries. You’ll only hear from her when she has a new release, bargain offers or freebies. Here’s the link: http://eepurl.com/AKjSj

I never thought I’d be a writer, much less publish a book someday. I always wanted to be a veterinarian. I guess life just had other plans for me. When my husband and I decided to start a family, vet school pretty much went out the window. I used to work with a vet who had three children while going through vet school. To this day, she is my hero.I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together with our two sons, we make our home in Southern California. Our family also includes a Labrador Retriever, a welsh pony, a miniature horse, three cats, four bearded dragons, and a flock of laying hens. Almost every summer since my husband and I graduated from high school, we spend two weeks camping in Yellowstone National Park.
Four years ago, I began writing a story that, for whatever reason, was stuck in my head for almost a year. I have been an avid romance reader for a long time, and the idea took hold to – why not? – write my own!
It has been a long and difficult journey and learning experience from my first sentence to a completed, and hopefully polished, manuscript.
The story, titled Yellowstone Heart Song, is set in the Rocky Mountain region which today encompasses Yellowstone National Park. It takes place decades before the area was even known to white men, a time just after Lewis and Clark, before the mountain man era was in full swing.
The story has turned into the Yellowstone Romance Series, with five books and a novella published.
My newest venture is a time travel romance series, which I am calling Second Chances. The first two titles, Come Home to Me, and Ain’t No Angel, are available. I am also working on a historical romance trilogy, called the Teton Romance Trilogy. Teton Sunrise and Teton Splendor are published. The final book, Teton Sunset, is in the works.

- Living…The Testimony
We Testify in Accordance With What we Know and Have Experienced….It’s Time to Learn and Experience More!
The first book in this thought-provoking series explained how testimony relates to the Bible; this book will help you understand how testimony relates to living. Living…The Testimony will not only encourage Christians to reflect on who they believe Jesus to be (and why they choose to believe this), but it will also correct current misconstrued ideas as to what the Christian testimony is all about.
a testimony is not about church;
a testimony is not about God;
a testimony is not about faith in general terms.
EXTRAS:
This book contains numerous testimonies that will strengthen your faith in Jesus.
This book includes an appendix on the Sabbath Rest. Do we currently understand God’s holy time of rest? The answer will astound you…and set you free to be more like Jesus.
This book includes Deidre Havrelock’s personal testimony regarding her demonic possession and her amazing deliverance.

Our novels How To Survive Your Sisters and When Good Friends Go Bad, published by Arrow (UK) and available world-wide, were recently launched by Amazon in the USA, along with our latest, Looking For La La (which just reached #1 in Kindle Free Top 100 bestsellers.) We are equally passionate about writing, travel, horses, dogs, and the great outdoors. Originally from Scotland, Pam now lives in Reigate, not far from London, with fitness-obsessed husband, three children and a Border Terrier, while Lorraine is on a 10 acre Colorado ranch near wild and wonderful Boulder with her amazingly-tolerant spouse, three white horses, five cats, one black fuzzy whoodle dog and ten chickens. We both believe in enjoying life to the fullest, be it digging up carrots in the allotment, listening to audio books while scooping manure in the corrals, or going on a trail ride in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. And we’re utterly convinced all our problems can be solved by a glass of wine, a bar of chocolate and a good laugh with friends.

- Treehugger (Based on a Dream, #1)
About Treehugger (Based on a Dream, #1):Chloe’s REM sleep (the time during which we dream) does not function the way everyone else’s does. Still, planet-hopping is a gift. Righting the wrongs of the multiverse on behalf of a mysterious organism is a privilege. Leading a secretive double life has its perks. Being Earthborn? Well, that simply bites….
When Chloe (aka Star of Earth) dares to shake off her bullied past to try fitting in at an A-list slumber party, her sleeping bag is the least of her baggage. Unfortunately, more ridicule only reinforces her belief that she’ll never blend in on Earth, no matter how well she hides her double life, alien-influenced quirks, and devastation over the disappearance of her best friends. At least when they were in her life, public humiliation on her homeworld didn’t throw her as much. Their friendship had meant everything.
Symbiont-aided abilities slipping, Chloe becomes an enemy to herself just as a terrifying nemesis threatens to resurface. Can she navigate evolving relationships and old nightmares in time to rescue her legendary reputation as an evil-thrashing sentinel? Does it really matter what world you are on when trying to find yourself–especially when a lunatic is trying to find you first?

- Reluctant Queen: The Story of Henry VIII’s Defiant Little Sister by Geraldine Evans
About Reluctant Queen: The Story of Henry VIII’s Defiant Little Sister by Geraldine Evans:RELUCTANT QUEEN: A TUDOR HISTORICAL NOVEL
One NOT about any of the six wives! Henry had plenty of other relatives, most of whom, given his short-lived dynasty and shaky right to the crown, the always insecure Henry had executed over the years to secure his throne.
AMAZON UK NO 1 BEST SELLER IN TWO CATEGORIES!
‘A very readable account of a fascinating woman who dared to stand up to Henry VIII and survived. It is thoroughly researched, admirably written and the author’s love of the Tudor period shines through.’
REVIEW FROM HISTORICAL NOVELS REVIEW
Can you imagine what it must be like to be the little sister of infamous English king, Henry VIII? Remember, this is the king who went on to have six wives, two of whom he had beheaded.
And although the teenage Mary Rose is his favourite sister (he even named his famous ship after her), his shifting alliances and ruthless desire to have his own way, made him push the young and lovely Mary into a hateful state marriage with the ailing and ancient King Louis XII of France.
But, a reluctant Mary,Rose, as strong-willed as Henry and passionately in love, for the first time, with champion of the lists Charles Brandon, doesn’t give in easily. Before agreeing to the match, after a relentless campaign to get her to say yes, by her loving brother, Mary Rose extracts a promise from Henry. A promise she is determined he will keep.
At the French court, Mary Rose is pursued by the witty, charming, but debauched Francis, Louis’s heir, who, even at the young age of twenty, is a practised seducer.
Between the awful conjugal embraces of her sickly old husband and the persistent and unwanted attentions from Francis, Mary is in a desperately unhappy situation.
But then, her ailing husband dies, and the lusty Francis is elevated to the French throne and absolute power.
Mary Rose thought her situation BEFORE her husband’s death was difficult, but then she hears rumours of her kingly brother’s plans for her future. And they do not include keeping the promise he made to her.
Trapped in an impossible situation, caught between a lustful Francis and the ruthless self-interest of her older brother, the spirited Mary Rose makes a fateful decision aware, even as she does so, that she is taking her very life in her hands.

- RIP: Choices After Death by Daniel Sherrier
About RIP: Choices After Death by Daniel Sherrier:Opening yourself to a whole new world can leave you vulnerable — but it’s the only way to grow. Rip Cooper, 24, may be a successful freelance photographer making a name for himself in a new town, but personally, he’s in a rut. No friends, no goals, no greater purpose. He’s going through the motions…until the ghost Serissa informs him that he’s “one of the Seven.” That’s the starting point of RIP, a new fiction series that blends drama, humor, action, and the paranormal.
At any given time, seven individuals throughout the world are gifted with the capacity for extraordinary perception. They can see, hear, touch, smell, and even taste ghosts. The flip side: ghosts can do the same to them.
Most people who die go either to Heaven or Hell, depending on how they lived their lives. But some are on the fence. These people linger around the Earth as imperceptible ghosts, and each one must make a choice — become a better person and try to earn a place in Heaven, or give up and settle on Hell.
Rip struggles to come to terms with his place in the world. He must choose to embrace his new role and excel, or turn his back on it and slide into a life of untapped potential and mediocrity. He’s a loner who yearns to be a part of the world, and being a freelance photographer, he’s often on the outside looking in.
Serissa serves as Rip’s ghostly guide and steers him to where he’s needed. But she’s also a recently deceased, sociable young woman who misses life and interacting with the living. Rip is the only solid entity she’s ever encountered in her afterlife, the only living person who can even acknowledge her. However lively Serissa seems, she’s always just hanging on by a thread. After all, there’s no proof there actually is a Heaven, and when you’re an intangible ghost, it’s hard to hold on to anything.

- My Grandfather’s Uncle: a Memoir
About My Grandfather’s Uncle: a Memoir:Growing up during the Great Depression, Philip had to contend with scarcity, hand-me-downs and a dearth of education options. His older brothers and sisters had all been “guided” into a convent or the priesthood. So how did Philip become a stalwart family man and neighborhood icon? All by accident…he met our mother!
Philip had a passion for cooking, quoting Shakespeare and standing on his head. He could say stuff like “Anything you can do I can do better” and yet remain a humble man. He had to be humble as my mother was a hard taskmaster. He once said that his existence under her driving force was “survival of the shittest.” Not one to complain, normally he was willing to be at Jean’s beck and call—perhaps for the sake of his sanity.
His story begins with a glimpse of his pre-Depression origins, then fast-forwards almost forty years to his colorful home life, favorite hobbies and the mini-obsessions that made him such a memorable character. Philip’s little recipes, his night job as a radio announcer, his board game “crimes” and his love for horse racing, golf and gardening all combine to paint the richly detailed portrait of a man we cannot help but grow to love.
