- The Blood Wars-Crystal Secret (Only Human#2)
About The Blood Wars-Crystal Secret (Only Human#2):The continuing story of Aecia; a human child disguised as a vampire for all of her life, and struggling to live in their world. After a few short months of peace living with her father, her rescued clones, watchers and sangius, she is propelled into a cat and mouse battle of wills with the bloodthirsty vampires!
Her uncle Kasen goes missing, and fearing the worst, she embarks on yet another dangerous quest with her family and friends. They are hurtled into a vicious conflict which will become as historic as The Great War, in which the bloodthirsty vamps were the absolute victors.
These are the first battles of The Blood Wars, and the secrets they uncover will terrify Aecia’s soul, and plunge her into an age of confusion, life-threatening danger, and quivering doubts about the one truth she holds as sacred inside her heart; the fact that she is Only Human!

“A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.”― Maya Angelou
I have always wanted to be a writer but things always seemed to get in the way. I guess I never really thought that I would be able to persuade anyone to buy even one of my books, never mind actually earn a living from writing. Things have changed now though; the children are older, I have more time, and a little more confidence than I had before. I decided to give it a go in 2012 and have never looked back.
I have worked at many jobs prior to the writing; from a merchandiser for WH Smith, to a volunteer assistant with special needs children and young adults. I have also been a Finance Clerk, which was a strange occurrence considering how totally useless I am with figures (thank God for calculators and an 18 year old girl’s smile). Those were the days!
Anyway, now I’m all about the writing, and am thoroughly enjoying myself in my own little world. There is very little in life that we can claim to totally control but when you put a pen to paper; you are the boss! There is something exciting and completely exhilarating about that, and I think I will always get a buzz out of the creation of new characters, unusual and interesting settings, and unexpected, intriguing story-lines. Reading is a massive part of being a writer as well, because you can learn so much from other writers who have fascinated you with their stories. I have always been inspired by many Authors, such as JRR Tolkien, William Golding, and more recently Stephenie Meyer and of course, JK Rowling. There are many more new writers that are coming into their own now too, some of which I have the privilege to know and admire, just through becoming part of the writing world.
So, that’s me; reasonably boring, but constantly exited about the world of literature, and the tiny part I play in it.
One thing I would say to all you aspiring writers out there, “Don’t think about writing one day somewhere in your future. If you love to write, then write; right now! Don’t let a lack of confidence imprison your creativity, and stop you from exploring every aspect of your own abilities to the full.”
The rewards are incredible, which is how I felt when Only Human#1, the first of this series, won the IBD award in October of this year. Thanks so much to everyone who bought it!

- In Too Deep
Meghan Sterling—CIA agent.
For six months, she’s been living in Central California under the name Clara Osbourne—and not by choice. The Cold War is over; however, she’s still tasked with infiltrating a potential cell of Russian sympathizers, possibly ex-KGB operatives. The CIA has heard they’ve found a way to render the vast agricultural hub of Fresno, California useless, tainting the produce as well as beef, milk, and poultry produced in the county.
The problem is, the CIA has Meghan following the wrong group. She doesn’t realize their mistake until she’s already in too deep and working with Jarlan and his partner, Rich, in what she thinks is a security company guarding Emerald Produce. She’d never have guessed they were vampires. Until Jarlan forgets she’s off the lunch menu and attacks.
Meghan helps Jarlan control his bloodlust, but she can’t ignore her duty to her country. Someone in California wants to wreak havoc on the economy and food supply. If it isn’t the vampires, then who is it?

- I Am Not Frazzle!
Ok, here is the deal, we take 10 great authors, give them the freedom to write a story in their own style and genre as long as the general theme has children involved. Next we put them in a big pot (the stories not the authors) and mix them up a bit to see what comes out at the end. And here it is, a marvellous mixture of inspiring, entertaining, funny and thought provoking fables that will delight every grown up from here to the land of Lorff … Huh? What do you mean you’ve never heard of the land of Lorff? Well my friend, read on…..
All proceeds of this book go to the Devizes and District Opportunity Centre, a registered charity in the UK that helps children with disabilities and learning difficulties get a better start to life.

- In the Light of the Eclipse
About In the Light of the Eclipse:Where God so loved the world, Heather (or as few have dared to dub her “the goddess of condemnation”) holds a much crueler hand over her inhabitants. Every seventeen years, under her ever-watchful eye, an eclipse renders her land dark, taking the soul of everyone over the age of seventeen to the land of the unknown nothing. In its wake, Heather bestows the gift of a child upon the land. Some believe this child has special powers; others believe she inhabits the souls taken by the eclipse. But no matter the belief, one thing is certain—without the child, the land would crumble.
Most accept the eclipse and live every breath with a love unmatched by any other. This is especially true of Zoe, whose seventeenth year of breath nears ever so close. Born under the eclipse, Zoe understands her life is a gift and that she will return that gift in kind—whenever that day may be (that is until she falls in love and discovers the dark secrets hidden in the heart of Heather).
Still others yearn for a longer life and curse Heather’s name. One such person was branded the name Kayla on her day of breath eighteen years ago. Unable to comprehend the meaning of such viciousness, Kayla believes such a sacrifice is unnecessary, even for the worst of mankind. Little does she know that a mysterious traveler may hold the key to ending the eclipse forever.
Zoe and Kayla are best friends.
This is their story.

- Mayhem in Mexico: Zombie Infestation
About Mayhem in Mexico: Zombie Infestation:Getting kidnapped by the FBI is pretty low on my list of things I want to do. It’s right up there with meeting terrorist groups and writing their side of the story. Why a successful novelist like me? Turns out I’m a scapegoat for someone with some serious health issues—they’ve contracted the zombie virus.
I’m a zombie killer, killing them as quickly as I can. But I’m only one woman. You’d think being an Immune was great, but no. Ever since the government purposely tried to infect me with the zombie virus, they watch me closely to see if I turn. Not happening.
The FBI wants me to accomplish something big two thousand miles from home. When I arrive in El Paso, Texas after my strenuous drive from Washington, my contact agent, Joseph Connelly, isn’t available. Being tortured by a zombie for two days is an excuse I can accept after saving his ass. These aren’t your Hollywood zombies; not right away. They never get sick, their IQ triples, and their sex appeal? Off the charts. Until they die and resurrect as true horror flick zombies, with brains. Trouble is, some of them have developed a taste for meat—human meat—before they die.
Problem with governments screwing around with our DNA is things never go as planned. When terrorists kidnap my kids, all bets are off, and Agent Connelly agrees. If we don’t save my kids and steal the antivirus without getting killed, the whole world is going to have a really bad day.
