   Originally from North Dakota, I have lived in Maryland since 1988. My love of writing was awakened from a 25-year dormancy after a third cousin of mine told me about a common ancestor of ours, Rebecca Eames, who was one of over 140 people accused and imprisoned during the 1692 Salem Witchcraft hysteria. Her son Daniel was also accused and imprisoned, and I am currently writing a sequel, telling his story. I enjoy spinning wool and crocheting items with my own handspun yarn.    Myrlande E. Sauveur was born in Haiti. She came to the United States when she was 17 years old to further her education. She started writing poetry and short stories at a very early age.
