   Author Bio:
   As a child, I was always fascinated by history and the stories of people who lived in different places and times. Who were they? Where and when did they live? What was the political atmosphere in which they lived? What kinds of experiences did they have and who did they know? What drove them to make the decisions they made?

   I love exploring these types of questions and allowing the characters to reveal themselves to me as I learn about them. I believe that my background in anthropology gave me a tremendous vantage point for seeing the world and a greater understanding of how it works. I also feel that my experience as a screenwriter has honed my skills and conditioned me to be a better storyteller than if I had only worked in the traditional book narrative.

   I hope that readers find my stories enlightening as well as entertaining.

   Charlene Raddon began her fiction career in the third grade when she announced in Show & Tell that a baby sister she never had was killed by a black widow spider. She often penned stories featuring mistreated young girls whose mother accused of crimes her sister had actually committed. Those were mostly therapeutic exercises. Her first serious attempt at writing fiction came in 1980 when she woke from a vivid dream that compelled her to drag out a typewriter and begin writing. She’s been at it ever since.    My true passion in life is my writing. I was corrupted as a child with “Happily Ever After” so much that now, all my stories have one. Reading great stories and watching movies are also loves, they were the motivation for me to write and explore the “what if…”
   Inspiration comes from life, love, stories and sometimes that which the eye cannot see but the heart beckons.
   The road to my writing career has been an interesting one to say the very least.
