They are prepared to fight for their dominance; they do not want to lose their power.

   Book Excerpt:

   As Hadrian continues to read her thoughts, Sadeiq begins to shake; she is trying to break out of her deranged state of mind. She fights to awaken, but Hadrian is holding her down and using his full mental strength to prevent her from awaking. After several minutes of struggle, Sadeiq is able to return to a lucid state. She looks at Hadrian, with blood trickling down the side of her head, and she said with exhaustion, ‘I thought you would be stronger, Hadrian.’ Hadrian knows she is hiding more information, but he has enough to start his search. He looked at Sadeiq, wiped his mouth with his fingers and confidently said, ‘As long as I stay stronger than you, I am ahead in this game. Besides, you’re going to guide me to Kinsburgh. I believe you can take me to a sky being, a new being with elemental power in this realm. What is her name, Jolán, is it?’ Sadeiq grew stiff, her senses were heightened. Hadrian then said, ‘Yes, I do believe her name is Jolán. She grew up in Kinsburgh, and you live close to her family. It’s a shame you didn’t report your findings to the Order. Now, I must report you to the dark lords.’

   Sadeiq wanted to flee. She wanted to stop her process, but she was caught. She was captured by the very entity she was desperately seeking to avoid.    I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. I wrote my first story when I was in seventh grade–A first person account of an entire summer. I went through a massive teen angst poetry phase, and I have notebooks and binders filled with prose.

   Ceithin and Aurelia from Fractured Moon showed up in my head. They yapped incessantly, demanding I sit and tell their story. After a month or two of being woken up with harsh whispers, I started writing. They haven’t stopped, and in fact, brought friends. Now my head is filled with stories, scenes, snippets and crazy people.
