   Richard Newell Smith grew up in a sea town in Massachusetts, graduated from Harvard, served in the Coast Guard, worked for years in marketing communications – then jumped ship and began writing thriller novels. He’s written three books over the past two years – two Jack Scully thrillers and a Sitka Annie revenge novel. All three have received awards from the Florida Writers Association.
