- One Degree
Matthew Alan grew up in Canton, Ohio and eventually headed to Kenyon College where he filled his college years with great friends, family and swimming. After graduating from Kenyon, and earning a masters degree from Western Illinois, he began a career in teaching and coaching at the university level. During that time, he started writing short stories and novels, upon realizing the impact reading novels has had in his own life. Most of his books focus on strong character development, internal struggles and real life events - with a hint of the surreal thrown in for good measure. He published his first novel "One Degree" in May of 2013 with great critical reviews and followed up with a successful short story, "The Hero" that same year. Matthew currently lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He can be e-mailed at MatthewAlan412@gmail.com or through his blog at MatthewAlan412.blogspot.com

- The Tragic Tale of Mr. Moofs by Rick Billings
Rick Billings is an artist and illustrator living and working in the Northeast. As a young boy he loved watching Saturday morning cartoons while trying to draw them. As a grownup he greatly admires the art of Gris Grimly, Edward Gorey, Skottie Young and the always wonderful Theodor Geisel - Dr. Seuss. His stories and art often have a slightly macabre twist and reflect the influence of many of his heroes including Shaun Tan, Neil Gaiman and Tim Burton. When he's not drawing and painting he is often out riding his bike, listening to fine music, or walking Isha the red dog. Mr. Moofs is his first book.

- The Specialists: At Any Cost
Having originally studied for the priesthood with later experiences ranging from acting to government to politics, P.B. Wells is an ex-bookseller who now fancies himself an actor, artist, commentator, hermit, unapologetic animal lover, writer and opinionated curmudgeon. He enjoys good films, good food, good music and, of course, a good book. He does not enjoy politics, religion or being shot at. Born in Cairo, he currently lives in the mid-west United States with his wife and their herd of cats and dogs. He spends his time on art, research and writing. History, science-fiction and fantasy are the genres he has always lost himself in as both reader and writer. The first installment of his continuing novella series, "The Specialists," was published September 18, 2013.

- American Warrior by James Snyder
James Snyder was born in Memphis, Tennessee and fell in love with the cadence and sound of storytelling as a child, listening to the meandering tales of his Southern grandmothers and great aunts. While still a child, his family moved to Napa Valley, California where he attended middle and high school, and began taking writing classes at the local college. He left after a year to join the military, and was a soldier with a tactical mobile operations unit in Germany. It was there, while pulling a Harz mountaintop guard duty one night during a snowstorm, he had the chance encounter with another soldier that ultimately became the genesis for his debut novel American Warrior. His second novel, a thriller entitled Desolation Run, has just been released. "Berlin Diaries" is his blog at JamesSnyder.net where he further discusses the backgrounds of his writings.
