   Julia Rose Grey pestered her mother to learn to read and, shortly after, began jotting down her thoughts to clarify the world’s contradictions. She soon developed a taste for fiction, biographies, and history and starting writing her own stories in elementary school. In college, she discovered she had a talent for writing term papers and, although she insisted others write their own papers, she often helped people develop their themes. She knew few shared her unique skill: given a topic and a few hours of research, she could whip up a twenty-page paper in an afternoon. With a degree under her belt, Ms. Grey bundled this writing ability into a briefcase and leveraged it into a career replete with documentary, expository, and persuasive writing. Since retiring a few years ago, however, she has returned to spinning fictional yarns. She writes situational comedy plays for a local amateur playwriting and performing group.
