Where Awesome Book Readers Meet Awesome Writers

  1. The Jonas Trust Deception by AFN Clarke

I’m fortunate to be the author of the bestselling nonfiction book CONTACT, which was serialized in a British newspaper and made into an award winning film by BBCTV. That launched my “official” career as a writer and I have never looked back. I write mainly fiction these days, as I am passionate about creating different worlds in which my readers can lose themselves for a few hours - or days! I love to write different genres - politically charged thrillers, suspense and intrigue, humorous satire and books about the challenges of human relationships. I’ve lived all over the world, served in the British army, had a near death experience, lost half my insides and recovered from the physical and emotional traumas of war. A proud father of four daughters, screenwriter, pilot, race car driver, I love to sail, listen to opera, cook gourmet meals, drink wine, read good books, have heated discussions and travel off the beaten path. Books include: The Orange Moon Affair and The Jonas Trust Deception (Thomas Gunn thrillers) Contact, Collisions, An Unquiet American, Dry Tortugas, The Book of Baker Series (Dreams from the Death Age; Armageddon; Genesis Revisited) with more coming soon.

  2. The Prophecy of the Sacred Cross

Peter Silas is both a Christian Fiction author and Orthodox Christian blogger. His first novel was recently published, entitled The Prophecy of the Sacred Cross, the first book in the Parables of the 24th Elder series. Peter’s mission is to connect both the visible and invisible dimensions through his passion for the fantasy and science fiction genres, exploring the cosmic mysteries surrounding faith in Christ with adults and young adults alike. To accomplish this, he complements his story telling with blogging, engaging his audience with a central theme of “living in the world but not of the world.”

  3. AMERICA ONE

T I Wade was born in Bromley, Kent, England in 1954. His father, a banker was promoted with his International Bank to Africa and the young family moved to Africa in 1956. The author grew up in Southern Rhodesia. Once he had completed his mandatory military commitments, at 21 he left Africa to mature in Europe. He enjoyed Europe and lived in three countries; England, Germany and Portugal for 15 years before returning to Africa; Cape Town in 1989. Here the author owned and ran a restaurant, a coffee manufacturing and retail business, flew a Cessna 210 around desolate southern Africa and finally got married in 1992. Due to the upheavals of the political turmoil in South Africa, the Wade family of three moved to the United States in 1996. Park City, Utah was where his writing career began. To date T I Wade has written eleven novels. The Author, his wife and two teenage children currently live 20 miles south of Raleigh, North Carolina.

  4. Watchers of the Night by Matthew Keith

Having been born in Pontiac, Michigan in 1972, I am as much a product of the 80's as anyone from that era can be. Back in high school, I was a 6'3" bean pole with long scraggly hair, a jean jacket that I wore nearly every day of my life, and drove around in a loud, busted-up '76 Cutlass that I bought from my big brother and thought was the greatest thing on four wheels. Guns 'n' Roses, ripped up jeans, radio way too loud - I was that guy. Back then I didn't have many ambitions except to get out of high school as quickly as I could. I'd always envisioned myself one day becoming a teacher, but the road that led to that career included a minimum of four years additional school and I wanted nothing to do with that. I'm older now, not much wiser, with a lot less hair and more around the middle. I've been a partner in a pizza business for over fifteen years with an amazing man who has not only given me the opportunity to achieve financial success, but has also been a mentor in nearly every aspect of my life. If he ever reads this - which I doubt - you know who you are. Thank you. I live in Kentucky now and have two wonderful children, one who began in 2013 at the University of Kentucky on a music scholarship, and one in high school. I have been married to the same beautiful redhead for the last sixteen years. From the way it's going I'll be happily stuck with her until the day I die. Truly, without her I would never have finished my first novel let alone been able to be halfway through a second and third. She has supported me in every aspect of my life - it is that support that gave me the belief that I could write something worth reading. As far as my writing, it is something I'd always wanted to do but never allowed myself to find the time for. As any writer will tell you, it's a discipline and what starts out as 'fun' or 'romantic' turns into actual work at some point. Compound that with the fact that most writers, like myself, work 'real' jobs to pay the bills and it becomes ever harder to do. For those of you who've taken the time to read this novel, thank you. I appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Drop me a line sometime - I would love to hear from you! -Matthew matthewkeith@matthewkeith.net

  6. A Cat’s Life: La Vida de un Gato

My name is Jennifer Elig and I am a Children’s Book Author. The first two books I have written and illustrated with photographs are bilingual (English/Spanish) books. The first book, “A Cat’s Life: La Vida de un Gato,” is a whimsical look into the day in the life of a cat. The second book, “One Lord, Two People: Un Señor, dos Personas,” is a Bible-based counting book. I have enjoyed writing since childhood and have taken the opportunity to incorporate book writing into a classroom setting with my students when I was a first grade teacher, then decided to publish my own books. I enjoy writing and using my God-given talent for others to enjoy and for the benefit of others in hopes that they will pursue their dreams as well. To those that are following a journey similar to mine I would say, keep at it! If writing is a talent you have been blessed with, follow that dream to publish your work and get it out there for others to enjoy. Enjoy the journey! I can be contacted at eligbooks@gmail.com
