I’ve written seven books – six under A.L. Jambor and one under Amy Jambor. The first was called But the Children Survived. I was inspired by a picture of my granddaughter I’d put on my refrigerator. I was looking at it and I suddenly saw her running down the hallway of my mobile home holding my small dog. That was the beginning. I wrote the book for my family and included almost every member of my family as a character in the book. I grew up in New Jersey and about half the book takes place in New Jersey locations. I was born in Plainfield and moved south to Monmouth County – exit 106 on the Garden State Parkway to be exact. My folks owned a Carvel Ice Cream store in Spring Lake Heights and I spent most of my summers past the age of fourteen serving soft ice cream to “Bennies” and catching Bruce Springsteen at the Stone Pony on weekends. When I finished school, I worked in place called Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck where I met my husband of 36 years, Hans. He was a baker and when he saw me walk in the bakery for the first time, he turned to the guy working next to him and said, “That’s the girl I’m gonna marry.” We had two boys, Andrew and Thomas, and spent most of our married life in Ocean County, New Jersey. I was a barista at the Starbucks in Red Bank and Freehold. Freehold’s Jersey Freeze is one of the many Jersey locations I used in But the Children Survived. I’m a working class girl and I never knew why I went from job to job until I sat down to write a book. Working with so many great people enabled me to create unforgettable characters in my books. I live in Florida now with my hubby and two non-human roommates. Trixie is a mixed terrier who was the inspiration for the above-mentioned dog, and Sammy is my fabulous feline companion. I now have four grandchildren who continue to inspire me. Margaret’s Choice is my latest. It is the first book in a series called The Tresterian Chronicles. This book was born of an idea I had when I was contemplating the Big Bang theory. I imagined four planets being spawned of that event, each with the same DNA, each evolving in exactly the same way. This book is written in the first person of Margaret Hall, the wife of a scientist who dies at the hands of locals who aren’t pleased to find a scientific expedition on their land. Margaret comes from a planet named Pryll. It is 2215 in Pryll when they leave and 915 on Tresteria, their destination. The Pryllians want to establish a colony on Tresteria because their planet is dying. Margaret is the sole survivor of the expedition and when she meets a wizard named Geezer, her life changes forever. - The Last Human (Vampire Earth # 1)
I'm a 23 year old writer living within the UK. My first books: The Last human & Crisis, the first two in a series of Dystopian Vampire, are now published and available on amazon. When I began writing, I decided early on that I would never write a vampire book. There were too many vampire books in the market, and almost all revolved around romance. But there came a time when I thought, why not? I'll take the romance out of the equation and replace it with tension, drama and action. I'm currently writing the third book in the series, titled: Night Master. The events of the book will be based during books 1 and 2, but it will be in the view point of Lexus. Below is the list of the books in the series. The first two books have been released so far: The Last Human (Vampire Earth # 1) Crisis (Vampire Earth # 2) Night Master (Vampire Earth # 2.5) Blood Oath (Vampire Earth # 3) Blood Duels (Vampire Earth # 4) Black Winter (Vampire Earth # 5) Crossfire (Vampire Earth # 6) Rise of Shadows(Vampire Earth # 7) And the Sky Turned Black (Vampire Earth # 8) Mind Games (Vampire Earth # 9) Through Fire and Smoke (Vampire Earth # 10) - Family Deceptions by Loretta Giacoletto
Loretta Giacoletto divides her time between the St. Louis Metropolitan area and Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks where she concentrates on writing fiction, essays, and her blog Loretta on Life while her husband cruises the waters for bass and crappie. Their five children have left the once chaotic nest but occasionally return for her to-die-for ravioli and roasted peppers topped with garlic-laden bagna càuda. An avid traveler, she has visited numerous countries in Europe and Asia but Italy remains her favorite, especially the area from where her family originates: the Piedmont region near the Italian alps. Loretta's novels are filled with bawdy characters caught up in problems they must suffer the consequences for having created. ITALY TO DIE FOR, from her Savino Sisters Mystery Series, shows how too much togetherness can spell disaster for two thirty-something sisters vacationing in Italy. In LETHAL PLAY a grieving widow is suspected of killing her son's coach, a man with more enemies than friends. FAMILY DECEPTIONS follows two generations of earthy characters who learn to thrive and/or survive through a series of misdeeds, the worst against those they love the most. FREE DANNER features a cynical young man whose troubled past and deadly encounters hinder his search for the father he has yet to meet. THE FAMILY ANGEL is an Italian/American saga about the Americanization of an immigrant family of bootleggers, coalminers, winemakers and priests, and a mysterious black angel who enjoys sticking his nose in the family business. The previously mentioned CHICAGO'S HEADMISTRESS, a prequel and partial parallel to THE FAMILY ANGEL, follows a 1905 Italian street urchin's notorious rise to wealth and power as the headmistress of Night School, Prohibition Chicago's most popular and innovative men's club in the 1920s. Loretta is also the author of A COLLECTION OF GIVERS AND TAKERS, an anthology of twisted stories about the good, the bad, the self-centered and the disillusioned In addition to the horror anthologies, Damned in Dixie and Hell in the Heartland, Loretta's short stories have appeared in a number of publications including The MacGuffin, Futures Mystery Anthology Magazine, The Scruffy Dog Review, Allegory and Literary Mama, which nominated her story "Tom" for Dzanc's 2010 Best of The Web. - Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love
Born and raised in New England, Sebastian Cole joined his family’s business after graduating from Brown University in the 80s. A true romantic, his life is defined by following his heart and pursuing his dreams, which is why he has become a novelist. Sebastian writes from the heart, believing in true love, love at first sight, and finding that one person in life you’re meant to be with. Cole's debut novel, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love, reflects over forty years of personal life experiences. Sand Dollar has won numerous awards, including being the winner of the Beverly Hills Book Award, the bronze winner of ForeWord Reviews Book Of The Year Award, a finalist in the International Book Awards, and a finalist in ForeWord Firsts debut literary competition. With a rating of 4.5 stars on Amazon, the book has received rave reviews, many of which compare Cole to his favorite author, Nicholas Sparks. Whether or not he ever achieves that kind of success, touching the lives of others through his writing has been the single most gratifying thing he has ever done. - The Billionaire’s Will
Marti Talbott lives in Seattle and has written several full length novels, including The Billionaire's Will, Seattle Quake 9.2, The Promise, and Broken Pledge. She began writing the Highlander Series in August of 2009.
