Where Awesome Book Readers Meet Awesome Writers
- The Doggy Love Cookbook by Dawn K. Kline
Dawn Kline lives in the Northwoods of Wisconsin with her husky mix, Cody. She enjoys freelance writing, crochet and interacting with the other dog lovers in her neighborhood. She adopted Cody four years ago from a local shelter. He and his three litter mates had been rescued from a neglectful owner. All of the puppies were starving, but Cody was the worst of them all. Dawn could see every bone in his emaciated two month old body. She brought him home and lovingly brought him back to health. Cody is now a strapping, 85 pound bundle of unconditional love. He adores children, elderly people and any stranger who crosses his path. He loves to visit our local nursing home and is a favorite among the staff and residents there. His picture is on the cover of the book and it is dedicated to him. - Evil Does Not Have The Last Word by Eric Shoars, Ph.D.
Raised by entrepreneurs, Dr. Eric Shoars was instilled with resourcefulness, tenacity, and creative problem solving. His parents also impressed upon him that knowledge unshared is worthless. Now as an entrepreneur, in addition to being an author, trainer, and coach, Eric is an embodiment of the philosophy of that phrase. His first book "Women Under Glass: The Secret Nature of Glass Ceilings and The Steps To Overcome Them" helps women in business remove the barriers between them and the upper levels in corporate America to which they aspire. It was an Amazon Top 40 bestseller within it's first month of release. Eric's second book "Triumph: Winning Big In Life With Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance" helps people to remove the barriers between the life they have and the life they want. Eric's third book "Evil Does Not Have The Last Word" helps people try to make sense of life once tragedy or trauma has touched them. Evil is everywhere but what do you do when evil gets personal? This book provides many answers people seek in times of trauma, terror, or tragedy. Possessing an insatiable curiosity, Dr. Shoars seeks to help others by identifying and sharing uncommon solutions to everyday problems. Dr. Shoars can be found at www.ericshoars.com - Merdeka

Rachel Ann Nunes learned to read when she was four, beginning a lifetime fascination with the written word. She avidly devoured books then and still reads everything she can lay hands on, from children's stories to science articles. She began writing in the seventh grade and is now the author of over forty published books, including the popular Autumn Rain series. Her most recent novels are Line of Fire (An Autumn Rain Novel) and Before I say Goodbye (winner of the Whitney Award in general fiction for 2011). Rachel and her husband, TJ, are the parents of three boys and four girls. Rachel loves camping with her family, traveling and meeting new people, and, of course, writing. As a stay-at-home mother of seven, it isn't easy to find time to write, but she will trade washing dishes or weeding the garden for an hour at the computer any day! Her only rule about writing is to never eat chocolate at the computer. "Since I love chocolate and writing," she jokes, "my family might never see me again." Rachel writes Monday through Friday in a home office, often with a child on her lap. She takes frequent breaks from writing to build Lego towers, practice reading, or go swimming with the kids. Stormy Adams lives in Central Texas. Stormy is a single mom, a black belt in karate, loves working in the yard and especially throwing patio cocktail parties. She writes about sexy alpha male heroes and the independent women they are involved with. Of course, heads will butt as they travel down their twisting and curvy road of destiny, making it all the more fun for everyone involved. She has been blessed to have alpha men in her life both as lifelong friends and loves. Some of them are definitely interwoven throughout her books. Some of the characteristics of her female characters are from her closest girlfriends that she has known for more than 20 years. Her stories come to her at the funniest moments, she will hear something that triggers an idea and she is off and running with the story. As she grabs from her multitude of characters, the story develops in her head. She loves a good story and has been known to finish a good book the same night she picks it up. She hopes that you enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them as they unfold in her head. - Castilian Heat
Monica Hart lives in the great state of Iowa, not far from DeSoto Lake. She is married to John and is the proud mother of three daughters and mentor and 'mama' to a panoply of house and outdoor cats. Her fondness for ponies is well appreciated by friends and neighbors alike and she one day dreams of owning a horse-breeding farm. Her first novel, Castilian Heat, was inspired by her trip to Spain several years back and she attributes her romantic nature to God, a loving marriage and a wonderful family. www.monicakhart.blogspot.com/ - AQUA BLUE by Marian L.
