Where Awesome Book Readers Meet Awesome Writers
- JUDGEMENT OF SOULS 3: Kiss at Dawn
I live in Cardiff with my partner and three little mad dogs and I work for a well-known TV broadcasting company. I love living in Cardiff because, for all its modernisation, there are still remnants of an old Victorian city. I love writing and base my stories in Cardiff because it has such character. When I can, I go out to the coast and take photographs, mind you, we have a lovely castle in the city centre and a fairytale one just on the outskirts, so when I feel I can’t write anything, I take a ramble to those locations and it clears my head. I suppose it was inevitable that some day I would write a novel. My teachers at school used to limit me to no more than ten pages. When I left school, I wrote short stories for magazines, and it paid my way through college. I am Gothic, I love the fashion, the architecture and the music. The club in my novel is real. When I was writing book one, I got all my club material and clientele from here, I wouldn’t have finished that section without it. - Convince Me (Holton Series #1) by B. L. Blair
B. L. Blair writes simple and sweet romance stories and an occasional fantasy. Like most authors, she has been writing most of her life and has dozens of books started. She just needs the time to finish them. She is the author of the Holton romance series and The Good, a contemporary fantasy novella. She loves reading books, writing books, and traveling wherever and as often as time and money allows. She is currently working on her latest book set in Texas, where she lives with her sisters and her cat, Darcy. - VRANIGA PART 1-4 by Clint Gleason

Surviving Curtis Hall is her debut book. - Shadow Tag by Marjorie Swift Doering
MARJORIE DOERING was born in Milwaukee, but raised in small town Waterford, Wisconsin where her father owned an eighteen-hole golf course. It proved to be an interesting backdrop for an active and vivid imagination. While attending Wisconsin State University in Stevens Point, the use of one of her stories in a university publication encouraged her continuing interest in writing. After receiving a B.S. in secondary education with a major in English and a minor in Psychology, she continued to write while working full-time and raising two children. In 2005, her first one-act play resulted in the production of “Flight 419” by Darknight Theatrical Productions in Chicago. Three short stories have received honorable mention on the PitWit site. In 2006, “The Secret Attic” published another of her short stories. As a member of the well-respected and recognized FanStory writers’ site, to date, she has accumulated twenty-six first place wins in their writing competitions. Her writing portfolio consists of over one hundred short stories and three novels. “Dear” Crossing and Shadow Tag are two in a series of mystery/crime stories. The third of the series is a work in progress. Marjorie lives in NW Wisconsin with her husband, Denny, their dog, Casey, and their cat, Freddie. - The Story of The Rag
