1. The Northern Star: The Beginning
   Mike Gullickson has written all his life for work and pleasure. During a honeymoon to Italy in 2008, he contracted a freak case of pericarditis (a condition that can affect the heart) and was housebound for a month. Idle hands, and "The Northern Star" novel series was born. Mike lives in Manhattan Beach, CA, with his wife, son, and dog - Oliver - who is nice most of the time.
2. Machines of Easy Virtue
   Jack Price was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1958. In the 1960s, his family moved to the western suburbs, where he spent his early years as a fidgety Catholic schoolboy. He studied computer science and physics in college, worked his way up to a martial arts black belt, then turned to writing, both fiction and non-, getting short stories and articles published under various assumed names. Jack released his first novel, Machines of Easy Virtue, in 2012. He lives with his wife and a zooful of animals on the Chicago Northside.
3. Hidden Secrets by Angee Taylor
   Angee was born in Houston, Texas in 1977, to an interesting family. Her mother and father separated when she was young. She lived with her mother who later remarried a wonderful man, who had a huge impact on her as she grew up. Angee has always had a love of reading, mostly paranormal. As a child, she would sneak up at late night when her mom thought she was sleeping, to read. They moved around a lot, eventually settling in Deep East Texas. Angee married at a young age and eventually divorced. She has raised her now 15 year old son alone. Angee works full time as a pre-hospital nurse and sometimes sees things that would make the rest of us have nightmares. On other days, she is blessed to see miracles. These things are what drive her to write. Angee describes her job as- “I fight to save people’s lives. Sometimes I lose, sometimes I win. It's the emotional roller coaster of that job, which leads me to writing. I'm able to put those emotions into my characters and let them out of my heart and soul.” In 2006, she was diagnosed with a rare disease, shortly after that she was told she would be on full disability in five years and most likely to be dead in ten. She’s fought to live a normal life every day sinceand is beating those odds. She works at a demanding job, is a single mom, cares for an elderly mother, and a hyperactive dog. Her life has inspired her Paranormal novel Hidden Secrets. Sit back and enjoy.

5. Reluctant Gods by A.J. Aaron
   I wrote my first book, "A New Reality - A Wake up Call to Life's Mysteries" because I had a true story I had to tell. It developed from an envelope of notes and scraps of papers collected over time from strange happenings. Being educated as an engineer and very pragmatic, I had to find answers to the occurrences. When answers arrived to every question, I had to tell the story. I enjoyed writing the first book so much I wanted to write another but without the restriction of it being a true story. That's when I wrote, "Reluctant Gods" by asking, "What if?" The story is fantasy fiction with a set of characters who became like real people to me, each with their own quirks, flaws and personalities. I'd laugh as I wrote and pictured them interacting as if they were real and in front of me. The feedback on the second book motivated me to stay with it and to create "Reluctant Gods II - The Demon Seth" which is now out. I hope all of you get the chance to take a look at it and let me know what you think. My goal now is to find more time to write and spread the pleasure of a fun, entertaining story to as many readers as possible.

   Doctors suspect Brie developed an overactive imagination during childhood to cope with the expansive corn maze known as rural Pennsylvania. Unable to afford an operation to have the stories surgically removed from her brain, she opted instead to write them down. Brie currently lives in British Columbia with her boyfriend and naughty black cat, somewhere not too far from the sea.
