Teri Riggs was destined to be a writer. As a small girl she didn’t read bedtime stories, she made up her own. Who needed Little Red Riding Hood or The Three Little Pigs when there were so many great tales bouncing around in her head? When she grew up and became a mother to three little girls, she continued the tradition of making up bedtime stories. On the occasions she chose to tell conventional fairytales, Teri usually gave them a bit of tweaking here and there or added a new ending. Her girls loved it. After her daughters had the nerve to actually grow up and leave home, Teri discovered she had a passion for writing and jumped right in. It came as no surprise she chose to write mysteries and happily-ever-after’s since that’s the genres she loves to read. Teri lives in Marietta, Georgia with her husband, one of her daughters and two dogs that seem to think they rule the world. And some days Teri thinks maybe they do. Teri still frequently tells herself stories as she falls asleep. The only difference now is she wakes up the next morning and turns her bedtime stories into books.
- The Ex Who Glowed in the Dark - 2013-06-01 01:47:21-04
I grew up in a small rural town in southeastern Oklahoma where our favorite entertainment on summer evenings was to sit outside under the stars and tell stories. When I went to bed at night, instead of a lullaby, I got a story. That could be due to the fact that everybody in my family has a singing voice like a bullfrog with laryngitis, but they sure could tell stories—ghost stories, funny stories, happy stories, scary stories. For as long as I can remember I've been a storyteller. Thank goodness for computers so I can write down my stories. It's hard to make listeners sit still for the length of a book! Like my family's tales, my stories are funny, scary, dramatic, romantic, paranormal, magic. Besides writing, my interests are reading, eating chocolate and riding my Harley. I have two ongoing mystery series, Death by Chocolate (Death by Chocolate; Murder, Lies and Chocolate; and The Great Chocolate Scam) and Charley’s Ghost (The Ex Who Wouldn’t Die and The Ex Who Glowed in the Dark). I also sold fifteen romance novels ranging from comedy to dark suspense under the names Sally Carleen, Sally Steward and Sara Garrett. For those novels, I won several awards including National Readers' Choice, Romantic Times Best Silhouette Romance and two Rita finalist slots. Most of the Silhouettes are available as e-books, and I have e-pubbed five of the out-of-print single titles.

When Natalie’s not reading or writing, she can be found with her husband supporting her two children on the soccer field, or watching movies on Netflix - usually while simultaneously perusing her social media, or running around with her camera taking photos while camping and/or hiking with the family. They reside in the state of Virginia along with their old-unintelligent-diabetic cat named Lucky.
- Road Salt by Linda Nelson - 2013-06-02 01:15:19-04
Linda likes to write Teen Contemporary and Fantasy. Fantasy is her number one choice when it comes to writing and reading. She writes Teen Contemporary for one reason. Her children had social issues when they were growing up. These issues are the same issues many other teens deal with in their own lives. This being namely substance abuse and peer pressure. She wrote her first book in 2010 called Friends of Choice. This book was written mostly for herself but later evolved into something much more. After a conversation with a rehab drug counselor about a hot topic that was hitting the news media, Linda was inspired to write her latest book, Road Salt. This book also brought new meaning to the first book in her series of Teen Contemporary books. The series has been named Wings From Ashes. Her latest release Road Salt shows some of the dangers of using the substance Bath Salts. Current Work in Progress: Along Came Neil - Wings from Ashes 3 (Teen Contemporary Romance) When Linda is not writing she is working on one of her many hobbies like: knitting, crocheting, or quilting. She also enjoys her pet laying hens, dog - Julie, and her cats - Sam and Gracie For more information about Linda you can contact info@lindajnelson.com
