  1. Rocky Mountain Justice - 2013-04-06 02:17:37-04
Jeff Noonan is a Montana native who recently retired as the president of a nationwide corporation. He is married with four children and eight grandchildren. Rocky Mountain Justice is his second published book. The first, The Long Escape, told the story of a boy's decade-long odyssey from abuse and poverty to success and stability. As a young man, Jeff worked as a laborer for farms, ranches, lumber mills, and a railroad. He then served in both the Army and the Navy, retiring from the Navy as a commissioned warrant officer. While in the Navy, he commissioned five ships at Bath Iron Works, worked in guided missile research at White Sands Missile Range, and served two and a half years in Viet Nam operations. When he retired, he was a combat systems officer in Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. After leaving the military, Jeff worked his way up from an entry-level technical position to become the executive-vice president of a 900-person corporation with offices worldwide. During this era, he moved two companies into the impoverished city of Camden, New Jersey, in order to provide jobs where none existed. He then took over a troubled seven-person North Carolina company and turned it into a solvent corporation with over 250 employees. In recognition of these efforts, a U.S. Congressional Committee officially awarded him their 1999 North Carolina Businessman of the Year plaque during a Washington, DC, ceremony. Jeff sold his business interests in 2001 and retired to his hometown where he was soon elected president of the St. Regis Community Council, a position he held for four years. He was also the president of the Mineral County Chamber of Commerce for two years. He still lives in western Montana.
  2. Dynasty by Eva Caye - 2013-04-06 02:50:11-04
After twenty years as a teacher and dilettante writer, a health crisis forced Eva Caye to re-evaluate everything in her life. Three years of obsessive writing, research, and finding ways to pay for an editor led to the debut of the first book of her seven-part To Be Sinclair series, DIGNITY, in August 2012. Book two MAJESTY was published in October 2012, book three FEALTY in December 2012, and book four ROYALTY in January 2013. #5 DYNASTY is out, with #6 LOYALTY and the add-on to the series, Evan's Ladies, due in April/May. Her goal is to have all eight of her completed novels edited and published within one year, with a series finale and two prequels on the horizon. Eva lives with her magnificent husband and two beautiful mutts in a tiny, century-old farmhouse in Louisville, Kentucky.

  4. Professor’s Daughter - 2013-04-07 03:32:40-04
Igor Gamow dropped out of high school to become a ballet dancer with the National Ballet Company. His father was George Gamow, the renowned Russian physicist who proposed the Big Bang Theory of the Universe. At the age of 22 Igor returned to academia to study biophysics, and went on to become a professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado. His research led to numerous inventions in the field of bionics, including the well-known Gamow Bag, a portable hyperbaric chamber that has saved countless lives in the world of mountaineering. Igor is a passionate auteur, an enthusiastic motorcyclist, a real cowboy and an accomplished author – reviving his father’s award-winning book series The Adventures of Mr. Tompkins into a modern comic book and video series. Professor’s Daughter is his first novel, or as he likes to call it “a fictional memoir.” It found its genesis in Igor’s flamboyant and eccentric lifestyle, a persona which was generally loved by his students. Igor lives in Colorado with his wife, two dogs, four cats and a beautiful Arabian filly named Rose.
