  2. Counterfeit Cure - 2013-03-25 14:43:07-04
I’ve always been a writer. Even when I was working in other areas of the business world, I kept up with writing and publishing short stories and articles in various small journals. But when I sat down to write in longer form – novels and screenplays– I found my niche. And some small success. I was a finalist in Scriptapalooza, a noted screenwriting competition and had one of my radio plays broadcast on WXPN in Philadelphia. You can read more of my work on my blog: http://readseethink.wordpress.com/ Now, after spending many years working in businesses that supply the pharmacy industry and working on my writing, I’ve combined my knowledge and skills with the publication of Counterfeit Cure. I got the idea for Counterfeit Cure during the heparin recalls when the FDA discovered that raw heparin stock from Chinese manufacturers had contaminated the U.S. market. As I researched the recall, I discovered the magnitude of the problem and how easy it might be for the US pharmaceutical market to be infiltrated with counterfeit drugs. Though Counterfeit Cure is a work of fiction, the alarm it sounds is very real and, according to the FDA, the problem is getting worse as the shortage of certain drugs increases.

August 2012 saw Juanita’s debut release, FLY AWAY PETA hit the virtual shelves from Eternal Press. A contemporary romance with elements of suspense and intrigue, the story is set in the rural Western Australian town of Williams. Juanita’s second novel UNDER THE HOOD was released by Escape Publishing on March 2013. This is the story of two people struggling to save a group of teens from the dangers of life on the streets and doing their best not to fall in love. UNDER THE HOOD is set in the semi-rural Perth Hills, the perfect place for growing second chances. Juanita escapes the real world by reading and writing romantic fiction. When she’s not writing, editing or proofreading, Juanita is the cleaning fairy and mother to three boys (hubby included, his toys are just a little more expensive). Her not-so-miniature Daschund, Sam is her critique partner and keeps her company while writing.
  4. Baby - 2013-03-26 02:30:21-04
I am a doggy mommy, wildlife nut and supporter, writer, author, world traveler, political junkie and a Survivor wannabee...hear that Jeff Probst? J. K. Accinni was born and raised in Sussex County before moving to Randolph, New Jersey, where she lived with her husband, five dogs and eight rabbits, all rescued and currently resides in Sarasota Florida. Mrs. Accinni's passion for wildlife conservation has led her all over the world, including three trips to Africa, where ten years ago she and her husband fell in love with a baby elephant named Wendi that had been rescued by the incomparable David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The character of Caesar is inspired by a real life iconic tiger from Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary in Sarasota. A portion of the proceeds from her third book, Armageddon Cometh, will be donated to the sanctuary in support of the enormous expense required to house and feed the displaced wildlife in their care. Mrs. Accinni invites her readers to visit bigcathabitat.org to view the astounding facility and plan a visit with your family. Mrs. Accinni also invites you to visit her webpage at http://www.speciesintervention.com , where information on The Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary can also be viewed. Catherine has always been an avid reader and scribbler. See Through came about by wondering how someone who felt so misunderstood and unnoticed that she felt she might as well be invisible. Many people experience a time like that in their personal lives or careers. Catherine thought it would be fun to write about it and to see both the frustration, sadness and humour in that kind of situation. Catherine's hobbies have included reading, walking, lace-making, swimming, gardening and observing people, whom she finds endlessly fascinating. Living in beautiful countryside close to the sea, if both a gift and an inspiration.
  10. Skylark Blues by Cherri S. Miller - 2013-03-26 16:04:54-04
I love romance! I have spent most of my life reading romance until one day I picked up my computer and decided to give writing romance a try. I have been married 39 years, raised one son and have two grandchildren. I love my church, my Sunday School class, singing in the choir and occasionally playing in the hand bell choir. I still blush when I remember my publisher, Eternal Press, changing my genre from romance to erotica giving my books a heat rating of 4 flames. I want my readers to get lost in the story and enjoy reading.
