- Desire: Love and Passion - 2013-01-22 00:24:28-05
Hi, I'm Lesia Reid and I write what my friends call 'sweet romances'. Simply put, my characters are flawed but their purpose is perfect. Their romance is true, their passion larger than life but not all consuming. Love when found has no definition of time. To quote one of my heroes 'one can be brain dead and be alive in some capacity. If the heart stops there is no living. It is the brain that computes time and tells us it is too early to love, but, it is the heart that feels the pain of love lost and the joy of love gained'. I do not write to imitate life, not so much. Prince Charming has many qualities. He could be anybody in physical appearance but inside, he is just right. The heroine is you, she is the girl next door, the girl you meet on a bus and she will win your heart given the chance. I read, I write, I garden and I love partying. My personal motto is, 'I have one life to live - that I know of - and I intend to live it to its fullest'.

Marie Harbon has worked in both the retail and fitness industry. She has a degree in sport and fitness and taught group exercise for several years, delivering aerobics and Pilates classes. For two years, she delivered BTEC Sport courses and has also instructed dance and sport with children. She wrote her first novel length story at the age of twelve, which in retrospective was an early prototype of 'Lost', in that her secondary school class were shipwrecked on an island and had to contend with giant rabbits and aliens. Since then, she has written on and off, evolving her style and literary maturity. Marie is a member of the Nottingham Writers Studio and New Writers UK. Her future plans include not only continuing with the 'Seven Point Eight' series, but involve writing YA, children's and adult books, short stories, novellas and scripts. Aside from writing, Marie has two children and lives with her son, four guitars, and reams of fabric in the town of Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, which is in England. She is a self-confessed fabric geek and purveyor of beautiful, often ostentatious bags, bustiers and clothes.
- Redemption Song - 2013-01-23 01:43:46-05
visit my website at www.derick-parsons.com I was born in Dublin, Ireland, on the 27-03-1966, which makes me both old and an Aries; I do not believe in either but I seem to be stuck with the former at least. I have travelled extensively and as well as living in various parts of Ireland I lived for years in London, Holland, Germany, Poland and the USA. I returned to Dublin and married Eimear (a top litigation lawyer but a good person nonetheless, I swear) in 2001, which effectively ended the travelling, though we still like to roam the world on holidays. We have three magnificent (if mental) boys whom I wouldn't swap for eternal life and shares in Apple. I don't remember deciding to be a writer; ever since I can remember I have considered myself one, and after writing various poems and short stories I completed my first full-length novel at the ripe old age of 10. Alas, I no longer have that story, which I would dearly love to read again, if only for a good laugh. Redemption Song is my second book following the success of HIDDEN, though it is NOT a sequel.
