  1. Buried in the snow: You can`t have but one man - 2012-12-14 12:49:27-05
I started writing romance fiction since I was 16 years old. I'm now a published writer thanks to the wonderful world of ebooks. I live in Canada and I love the winter months. As you can see, I wrote several books related to the winter holidays. I'm currently an accountant but my dream is to be a full-time independent writer of hot erotic romance books.
  2. Christmas Choices: When Naughty Becomes so Nice - 2012-12-14 12:51:03-05
I started writing romance fiction since I was 16 years old. I'm now a published writer thanks to the wonderful world of ebooks. I live in Canada and I love the winter months. 3. Magnet - 2012-12-14 12:51:41-05
I've always been thinking of stories for as long as I've been alive. I have way, way, way too many to tell and far too little time to tell them. I joined UFOP: Starbase 118, a Star Trek roleplay-by-emails group, in 2010 and it was there where I learned my craft. But despite being one of the more active writers in the group and simming to my heart's content, I still couldn't tell all the stories I wanted to. It was only in 2011 that I actually started shaping and weaving those random, jumbling, chaotic masses of thoughts into coherent narratives and began self-publishing. It's now 2012. Writing's my full time job now. I write a little science fiction, a little fantasy, a little humour and comedy, and a few other things all over the place.
  4. A Kingdom’s Cost - 2012-12-14 12:54:23-05
Author of three historical novels set in Scotland, JR Tomlin has another set for release about Christmas of this year. She grew up in Texas and Scotland which gives he a rather unusual accent and a tendency to be stubborn and opinionated, which you might blame on both.
  5. The Ultimate Inferior Beings by Mark Roman - 2012-12-14 12:55:03-05
Mark Roman has been working his way through the alphabet in search of a suitable career. He’s sampled architecture, accountancy, auditing and astrophysics. For a while he worked as a computer programmer before realizing he’d skipped over ‘B’. So he took up bioinformatics, which is where he is now. He worries that becoming an author would put him back to ‘A’, with the whole alphabet still stretching out ahead of him. He lives in London with his wife (also a scientist) and two young children, neither of whom wants to become a scientist. In his work he has published around 80 papers, reviews and book chapters - although, if you want to read them, you’ll need to look under a different name. As a lifelong soccer fan he is no stranger to the extreme emotions of elation and despair (but mainly despair - in fact, almost entirely despair), particularly from his own performances on the football field. Still, he firmly believes there’s no problem that can’t be solved by a nice cup of tea. Except, perhaps, the global economic crisis.
  6. Holiday Interlude: Deceitful Appearances - 2012-12-14 12:55:52-05

  8. Hustled To The Altar by Dani Collins - 2012-12-14 13:31:09-05
Dani Collins has been writing in one form or another for over two decades, occasionally even for money. Her preference is writing romance novels because they’re fun. A bit of a snob for a good love story, she’ll only watch zombie movies or action flicks if there’s a decent romance at the heart. (Zombieland anyone?) Dani grew up on the West Coast of Canada and now lives in the interior where she works, has a family, pretends to garden and golf, but mostly spends time in her attic writing room. She traveled Europe and Australia before children, honeymooned in Australia, and recently went Down Under again to visit family who emigrated there. She dreams of owning a second home in Oz even though she’s afraid of spiders, especially big ones. Dani’s aspiration, aside from being rich enough to afford a fulltime maid and chef, is to deliver an uplifting story into the hands of a famished romance reader. Let her know when she succeeds.
  9. Submission: From Hello Through Temptation To Submission - 2012-12-14 13:34:13-05
The author is new to writing but not new to relationship counselling.
  10. Parallels - 2012-12-14 13:34:50-05
I grew up in a small village in northern Germany, where the public bus - for a teenager without a driver's license the only umbilical cord to the big city - only stops three times a day. After fulfilling my civic rights and duties (high school, German civil service), I relocated to the United States, where I majored in film and photography, with a bit of Art History and Russian Literature thrown into the academic mix. Years spent at an advertising agency came to a sudden end when the place fell victim to the collapse of the New Economy. Along with the agency, my secure job vanished. Which turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as now I didn't have much of a choice but start my own business. From then on up to this day I sold myself as a freelance illustrator and animator (hipper people may prefer the terms "3D Artist" or "Motion Designer".) Besides the commercial work, I kept exploring other art forms. But again and again, I noticed that a medium like illustration or photography doesn't lend itself well to express more complex ideas. Writing seemed to be the art form of choice for what I had in mind. From childhood on, I've been fascinated by a good story, one that takes you beyond what lies in plain sight. Later in life, authors like Mark Danielewski, David Foster Wallace, Douglas Hofstadter, Thomas Pynchon, and most of all, John Fowles, are to blame that I started to think about writing my own novel. Technically skilled by publishing a 600-page tome about animation, and a series of technical articles, I went to work on a few short stories. The positive reviews kept me going, and eventually I felt ready to write "the big one". Which turned out to be "Parallels".

A son followed in 1992 and in 1993 Sally returned to West Thames College with dreams of becoming a psychologist. In 1998 Sally obtained a 1:1 BSc degree in Psychology at Brunel University and shortly after this her marriage broke down. Sally struggled with the aftermath of the divorce and needed to work in several jobs to pay the bills. Sally moved to Hanwell, London and taught at West Thames College, The National Autistic Society, Richmond Adult College, Brooklands College, John Ruskin College, Brunel University and The Open University. Meanwhile, in 2005 Sally obtained her PhD in Psychology which resulted in her first book; 'Bullying as a Social Pathology' which was published by Edwin Mellen Press. Media coverage for Sally's research into bullying was extensive and covered a range of social and emotional issues leading to a request for Sally to post some biographical narrative online about her own struggle. This resulted in expected positive feedback from New York and suggestions that Sally should write an autobiographical novel hence her first fiction e-book (Safe) which you can read now. In 2011 Sally married again and became Sally Halsall and now lives near to London with her husband Geoff and her daughter Charlotte. Sally also works for the NHS at Stoke Mandeville Hospital where she is involved in research.
  16. The Soul-Travellers by Joy Stephenson - 2012-12-14 13:38:28-05
I am a British semi-retired teacher who is enjoying writing fiction for pleasure and I'd love to share my work with you. I am an avid reader of many different genres, including fantasy, and I've had great delight over the years in introducing my classes to the many wonderful children's authors around. I love the idea of other worlds that may be just a hair's-breadth away in a parallel dimension and this is what I have explored in The Soul-Travellers. I was a horse owner for over twenty years (my dear old cob passed away last year, aged 38) and also have a passion for dogs (I have an elderly labrador at present). Consequently animals feature in my fantasy and can communicate telepathically with certain humans.

Rachel loves camping with her family, traveling and meeting new people, and, of course, writing. As a stay-at-home mother of seven, it isn't easy to find time to write, but she will trade washing dishes or weeding the garden for an hour at the computer any day! Her only rule about writing is to never eat chocolate at the computer. "Since I love chocolate and writing," she jokes, "my family might never see me again." Rachel writes Monday through Friday in a home office, often with a child on her lap. She takes frequent breaks from writing to build Lego towers, practice reading, or go swimming with the kids. 37. Darius Pello Island 2 by A.L. Jambor - 2012-12-14 21:02:14-05
For most of my life, stories have played out in my head. It wasn't until my 57th year, however, that I began to write them down. Sometimes they come so fast I have to stop what I'm doing and write. Recently, I quit my job as a legal assistant to write full-time. It is the one thing that brings me pure joy. The characters are born and grow, and they move through my mind like scenes from a movie. I wake up in the middle of the night and a new scene is forming. I have to keep notebooks by my bed and in my handbag. Sharing these stories has been a pleasure. I hope they will enrich your life, too.

  42. Reckless Abandon - 2012-12-14 23:13:11-05
Hi, my name is Jenn Flynn-Shon and I’m the Author of "Ripple the Twine", "Trying for the Moon", "Small but Scrappy: Volume One", and Randomness and Lunacy (a personal blog documenting all kinds of crazy debauchery that I’ve been involved in over the years). I’ve been writing since age eleven, or thereabouts, and started exploring the world of fiction writing at age thirteen. My first publication was a poem written for a pop star; it was published under a pen name in Bop Magazine in 1989. Yeah, that's right. I’m a two-time winning participant in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo, NaNo) (2009, 2010) and taking part again this year. I’m an active member of the Scottsdale Society of Women Writers, guest blog for Team EcoEtsy, and have been content editing colleague's fiction and memoir manuscripts for the past year. When I make time to relax I love to hang out with my husband at our home in Phoenix, AZ, explore the country on road trips, watch my Boston sports teams, share laughs with friends and family, and read everything from blogs to novels. I make a point to write daily, and I’m a shameless self-promoter.
  43. Vigilante by Claude Bouchard - 2012-12-14 23:14:03-05
I was born in Montreal, Canada, where I still reside with my spouse, Joanne. I completed my studies in human resources, accounting and management at McGill University and worked in various management capacities in the fields of HR and finance for a handful of firms for what seemed like decades, because it was. I should also mention I love pizza, but who doesn't and, in my opinion, nothing rocks more than cooking on the grill. My first stab at writing was in 1995, the result being my first novel, Vigilante. This was subsequently followed by The Consultant (1996) and Mind Games (1997), all of the same series. Professional obligations and other creative interests led me away from writing for a number of years but I found myself busy at the keyboard in 2009 with The Homeless Killer after having finally published my first three novels. I then followed up with 6 Hours 42 Minutes in 2011, also part of the VIGILANTE Series born from Vigilante. In July 2011, I released ASYLUM, my first stand-alone novel and Discreet Activities, my sixth VIGILANTE Series crime thriller was published in January 2012. I think I'm really starting to like this writing thing. Besides writing, editing and promoting my work, I also spend some artistic energy with my five guitars, oil paints and watercolours. Other passions include cooking (big time with fine wine to go with it, of course), reading, traveling and working out just enough to stay fit. It should also be noted that following several years of practice, I now excel at being cat furniture for Krystalle and Midnight, or so they tell me.

  52. 50 Keys To Better Photography! - 2012-12-15 12:17:41-05
I'm Dan Eitreim and I worked as a professional photographer running my own photo studio for over 20 years. I've never apprenticed or worked for any other photographers. Because of this, I've had to learn and develop my photography skills on my own. My first attempts were dismal to say the least...so I studied, practiced and developed my photo skills and along the way I not only learned how to put the "wow" into my photos, but I've also learned how to teach others to do the same! To that end I've created a 23 volume series of photo training lessons that I've titled: "On Target Photo Training". These easy to read and understand lessons are all fully illustrated! Finally, when people look at your photos, they'll say things like, "Wow! YOU did that?" I enjoy creating e-books and expect to be developing more!

  56. The Secret Horrors Of Town Calypto Falls - 2012-12-15 12:39:34-05
Writing has always been a deep passion of mine. I grew up in a remotely small farm outside of New Market and had been a huge horror fan during my early childhood. I used to stay up late nights just to catch the new Friday the 13th and Halloween movies. I became engrossed with the idea of a creating a frightening creature and an unsettling atmosphere. Over the years, I tried to use my own creations to engross and capture the readers through an un-comforting and scary environments. Horror has a unique ability to capture our imaginations and help us feel so vulnerable in unknown situations. However, a great horror story would be left incomplete without an unforeseen twist. That's what I try to present with my stories; great atmosphere and story with an unpredictable twist.

  73. The Third Key - 2012-12-15 13:58:48-05
“I never ‘planed’ to become a writer. It just happened. From my childhood I had ability to take shelter in great stories, books, adventures and fantasies and I am sure that saved me from lot of trouble and pain. Healing effect that good story gives to our minds and souls is just un replaceable – I therefore enjoy in writing my books. I guess I am selfish. I learned that we always get what we give to others and what I am after is the real truth behind the apparent experience this world offers.” Victor K. Ramsey was born in 1971 in Hartford, Connecticut from parents in the upper middle class. Amongst other kids and students, his intuitiveness and urge to know the truth did not make him too popular; reading, drawing and martial arts were his ‘safe places’ in those days. Before his graduation he left home in order to find answers on questions that have bothered him. Sick and tired from illusory shine of the world around him, Vic has followed his heart’s call. ‘Who am I?’ , ‘Why I am Here’ and ‘Where I am Going?’ quest brought him to interesting places and situations. He traveled to Nepal, Peru and Europe spending time where he could learn and grow. His quest made him study martial arts such as Aikido, Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun. He spend time on places in India where ancient Vedic Culture is still preserved and he learned from genuine spritualist that ‘walk the talk’. He wrote several books and his friends made him start publishing. He writes, teaches Chi Kung and realistic Self-Defence in Europe, Prague.

  80. HILTON SECRETS REVEALED by Andy Shuman - 2012-12-15 14:21:35-05
Most people never get serious about Frequent Mile and Hotel Loyalty programs because they mistakenly believe they'd have to travel 24/7 or spend big bucks on credit cards to make them work. Nothing could be further from the truth! The truth is you can get more miles and points than you can possibly use and even elite hotel status before doing any travel at all. And you don't have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars either. Do you have good credit and a bit of a curiosity? That's good enough for me. I run a small local business and almost never go on business trips. Yet, I travel whenever I have the time. It might be a long weekend in Rio, or a short, spur-of-the-moment all-inclusive in the Caribbean, or a week-long, well-researched family trip to the Carnival in Quebec City. Most of my vacations have one common theme, though: we usually fly and stay for free. If you're willing to learn how it's done, it's easy and the rewards are out of this world! Travel for free wherever you want and as often as you want. There are very few places on Earth you can't go to on miles and points; and they are mostly the places you don't want to go anyway. Happy Travels!

It is inspired by memories of Ghadar's own teenage years in D.C. -- part recollection, part urban legend, and part pure fiction. Ghadar continued "Orange Juice in Bishop's Garden" in 2008 to focus on the other side of our nation's capital, and to occasionally lure Jack & Jill off the Hill. Currently in its 6th season, the series has been named an Official Honoree of the 2012 Webby Awards, and has won a 2011 Telly Award, one 2012 LA Web Fest award, two 2011 LA Web Series Festival Awards (for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Cinematography in a Drama Series), and received a 2010 Indie Intertube Ensemble Drama Award nomination, in addition to a nomination for "Outstanding Ensemble" in the 2nd annual Indie Soap awards. The story has also received media buzz and a cult following for its positive representation of LGBT youth.

Hi Welcome to my author page. My name is Rosemary Breen. I'm an author, app developer, and the creator of two websites: Psychic Revolution and Compatibility And Love. The PsychicRevolution website is a natural extension of my academic research. In 2009, I completed a Master of Education degree at Monash University in Australia. The subject of my dissertation was the paranormal. I have lived with the paranormal all my life but that doesn't mean I'm "off with the fairies". My professional background is in the business world, where I worked in finance, marketing and research for many years. So, my approach to most things in life is fairly pragmatic My second website, CompatibilityAndLove reflects my deep interest in personal relationships. I'm a volunteer telephone counsellor at a crisis service here in Australia, and as a wife and mother of two teenagers I know a thing or two about relationships. I'm also 'Mum' to Truffles, our beautiful Border Collie - an author in his own right!

  90. Corktown by Ty Hutchinson - 2012-12-15 14:56:55-05
My name is Ty Hutchinson and I’m from Hawaii. What does that mean? I don’t need to tan. I’m the author of the best selling Darby Stansfield novels. Readers have described them as Tarantino meets The Office with a splash of romance. I’ve also released Corktown, the first novel in my new series featuring FBI Agent, Abby Kane. I’m very excited about it. Before this whole author thing came up, I spent twenty-two years in advertising writing stuff that irritates you. I’ve stopped that. When I’m not writing thrillers, you’ll find me traveling the world, playing video games, eating and reading, or watching HGTV. Yup, me likey the HGTV. Don’t hate.

  97. The Clock Of Life by Nancy Klann-Moren - 2012-12-15 18:56:50-05
While traveling for my work in advertising and marketing, I began writing short fiction. That led to taking writing classes and attending writer’s conferences and local workshops. The goal was to create unique stories told in a distinctive voice. My short stories are eclectic and poignant, engaging and memorable, and were my primary genre until the day I stood up in a workshop and read an excerpt. The instructor said, “What are you doing the next couple years, because what you wrote is a novel.” I took up the challenge and produced the novel, "The Clock of Life." My collection of short stories is titled "Like The Flies On The Patio." I'm now working on a new novel tentatively titled "In Search of Doris."

Jack Elgos was born in the industrial north of England. He left school with no education to speak of and his handwriting is illegible to this day. He first joined the family firm but quickly became self-employed due to his independent spirit and a dislike of playing it safe. After the failure of his marriage he grew disillusioned with life in the UK and started to think about emigrating. A chance meeting with a woman of a similar mindset solidified the decision. Twenty years later they remain stubbornly unmarried and childless and have travelled the world, taking a chance at whatever came their way. From the strictly legal, through the definitely dodgy to the downright life threatening, they have enjoyed success and failure in equal measure. Thinking he might be pushing his luck, Jack turned to the computer keyboard as a way to make his writing legible and to earn a little safe money. He has built many websites and writes blogs under a variety of pseudonyms. Now in his fifties his experiences have inspired him to turn his hand to novels. Though his work is fiction, there will always be a little bit of truth in there. How much, he will not say.

Mary lives and breathes writing and editing. As a professional book editor in her day job, she pours through all kinds of manuscripts, from memoir to science fiction to thriller. With Winds of Change as her debut in contemporary women’s fiction, the sequel - New Beginnings - has a strong suspense angle. Road to Tomorrow comes up next and continues her small-town series featuring a cast of warm and not-so-warm characters. Each of Mary’s novels deal with social and medical issues as sub-themes. Winds of Change explores PTSD and clinical depression, while New Beginnings looks into the socio/psychopathic personality. Road to Tomorrow exposes some of the life-changing effects of Traumatic Brain Injuries through a secondary character. Never clinical, each story is focused on the main characters and their journey towards a more fulfilling future. Mary coined the moniker Lakefront Muse. It reflects the influence that living by the water in rural Quebec, Canada has on her writing inspiration. Being by the water in all four seasons provides her with a vibrant and fascinating place to let her imagination work its magic.

Amre Cortadino, the author’s pen name, pays homage to her rich heritage. Her paternal grandmother (Corti) raised 12 children during the depression (her husband passed away shortly after their last set of twins was born). Amre’s maternal grandfather’s name, Palladino, was altered at Ellis Island and is therefore lost to history... For Amre, growing up in small town America during the 1950s was a magical place to learn and draw from. Amre has been blessed with the beliefs, values and drive that come from sitting on the front pew of a small church in an even smaller town in NJ. One of three children born to a milkman and an accordion teacher, from large Italian families, God, family and friends were the mainstay of existence. Throughout grammar school and high school, every occasion had been celebrated by parades, school plays, Sunday School picnics, and tons of family. Married 30+ years, with four children and two grandchildren, Amre infuses her faith, friendships, humor, previous business and life experiences in her passion for writing. Some of Amre’s previous opportunities include home-schooling her four children, one of whom is autistic/pervasive developmental disorder; medical transcription; a bachelor’s degree in health science; and certifications and service as a childbirth educator (ICEA) and lactation consultant (IBCLC). Keeping chickens is also one of Amre’s pastimes.
