- The Watch That Could Do Anything by R.J. Bucchianeri - 2012-12-12 21:48:33-05
Should you care to visit the fair Isle of Cape Cod and perhaps lose yourself on one of the many magical and mind-boggling roads that snake through and around its plentiful bogs, ponds, inlets, outlets, and coastal thingamajiggies, you might eventually stumble onto a long and winding wooded path at the end of which sits a typical Cape Cod cottage surrounded by cranberry bogs where R.J. Bucchianeri spends most of the hours of the day (when he isn’t napping) conjuring tales. It has been rumored that R.J. is descended from Italian royalty, has a knack for boat building, and is an avid spelunker. At least two of these rumors have no foundation in fact. He is, however, the author of various tales from Cape Crockerbeehind, the most famous of which is The Watch That Could Do Anything. He has written many other novels for both children and adults, including the Django Jagger adventure series. When he isn’t making up stories or musing about the space-time continuum, you might find him running in concentric patterns around bogs with his charming puppy, Buddy, or perhaps making elaborate and sometimes edible meals for his own Contessa, Paula, and his perspicacious son, Nicholas.

“Eclectic” is probably the second best way to describe the skillset of Dustin Olenslager; the first best way would be “marketing whisperer”. His journey into the direct response marketing world happened largely by accident. Long story short, he was pushed into direct response marketing when his small business needed more customers. Interuption-based marketing was no longer pulling response. That experience led him to in-depth study of psychology, persuasive copywriting, marketing, brand strategy and a slew of other topics that helped him better connect with customers. Having learned many lessons (from both his successes and failures) Dustin has chosen to focus on sharing his unique marketing approaches with others. He is unique in his ability to see a need and fill it. His top priority when approaching any business or product offering is to do everything possible to see the world from the customer’s perspective. Getting inside the head of a potential client is his top priority, and one of his favorite things to do. He’s is from Las Vegas and currently lives there with his wife and their five energetic children. He enjoys spending time with family, road cycling, his salt water aquarium, enjoying the outdoors, reading, learning, and personal growth.

Following her time at the Stardust Centre, Amanda spent most of her working life predominantly in Customer Service roles, which included co-running a conservatory business for 18 years. She has recently qualified as a psychotherapist, and has a keen interest in energy work, spiritualism and hypnosis. The first edition of `From Stardust To Babylon` was published by the Book Guild in Feb 2004 under the pseudonym of Amanda Martin, though the story has since been modified and completed. At the time of publication information was still coming through thick and fast, and consequently crucial components of the puzzle had not yet been fully pieced together. In Amanda`s opening statement she declares that she is not a writer, just an ordinary person searching for the words to write an extraordinary story, and by her own admission it is only through sheer determination to deliver a crucial message for mankind, combined with many hundreds of hours of writing and re-wording, that she presents the version you now see before you. Following the events of 2001 mentioned in the book, Amanda is now keen to help others with their own spiritual development. It is her sincere wish that you enjoy the book and take from it what you will for your own advancement.

- Adrianna by Eileen Register - 2012-12-13 23:50:39-05
Eileen is the proud parent of four grown children, ten grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She often gets inspiration for a character or incident in her novels from memories of her kids growing up. Eileen enjoyed a happy childhood in a small town in central Florida. She became paraplegic at thirty-six, dealing with the massive changes her disability wrought in her life and handling it by returning to college to become an English teacher. As a teenager she had gone through her parents’ divorce and dealt with living in a one-parent home. Those changes in her life as well as her own experiences in marriage and the aftermath of divorce affected her in ways that helped to make her more understanding as a teacher of middle school students, many of whom were also the children of divorced parents and single-parent homes. Now retired from teaching, Eileen is fulfilling her life-long ambition to write novels and following the advice she once gave to her students: “Write what you know.” The author has used her twenty-five-year experience as a paraplegic as well as many other life experiences to create believable characters in Adrianna, her first novel. In addition to romance, humor and suspense, she gives her readers an inside look at disability and how it affects Adrianna and those around her. Many of the things Adrianna says in the course of the novel reflect actual statements made by the author when she first became disabled. Since completing Adrianna, Eileen has continued to write, and she is now working on the third book of her series, Grisholm County Chronicles - stories based in a fictitious county that has everything that Florida has to offer except a coastline beach. The third book of the series will be joining Book I - Roller Coaster Ride and Book II Sylvan Creek this month.
- Death in the Pyrenees - 2012-12-14 00:07:48-05
Hi, my name is Elly Grant and I like to kill people. I use a variety of methods. Some I drop from a great height, others I drown, but I've nothing against suffocation, poisoning or simply battering a person to death. As long as it grabs my reader's attention, I'm satisfied. I've written several novels and short stories. My first novel, 'Palm Trees in the Pyrenees' is set in a small town in France. It is published by Author Way Limited. Author Way has already published the next two novels in the series, 'Grass Grows in the Pyrenees' and 'Red Light in the Pyrenees' as well as a collaboration of short stories called 'Twists and Turns'. As I live in a small French town in the Eastern Pyrenees, I get inspiration from the way of life and the colourful characters I come across. I don't have to search very hard to find things to write about and living in the most prolific wine producing region in France makes the task so much more delightful. When I first arrived in this region I was lulled by the gentle pace of life, the friendliness of the people and the simple charm of the place. But dig below the surface and, like people and places the world over, the truth begins to emerge. Petty squabbles, prejudice, jealousy and greed are all there waiting to be discovered. Oh, and what joy in that discovery. So, as I sit in a café, or stroll by the riverside, or walk high into the mountains in the sunshine I greet everyone I meet with a smile and a 'Bonjour' and, being a friendly place, they return the greeting. I people watch as I sip my wine or when I go to buy my baguette. I discover quirkiness and quaintness around every corner. I try to imagine whether the subjects of my scrutiny are nice or nasty and, once I've decided, some of those unsuspecting people, a very select few, I kill. Perhaps you will visit my town one day. Perhaps you will sit near me in a café or return my smile as I walk past you in the street. Perhaps you will hold my interest for a while, and maybe, just maybe, you will be my next victim. But don't concern yourself too much, because, at least for the time being, I always manage to confine my murderous ways to paper. Read books from the 'Death in the Pyrenees' series, enter my small French town and meet some of the people who live there ----- and die there.

Michael Chandley was born in Buffalo, New York. His literary career began modestly as a series of flash fiction periodicals appearing throughout the east coast on the walls of select, carefully chosen bathroom stalls. After gathering a modest following of disturbed individuals and having employed a small crew of bathroom stall "ghost writers" to carry on the series for him, Chandley decided to abandon his Bathroom Stall periodicals to attempt a new medium and try his new, grown-up stories on paper. With the help of Tuxedo & Beans Publishing, LLC Chandley's latest work of fiction is now available for download only on Amazon.com.

- The Great Chocolate Scam - 2012-12-14 03:16:08-05
Welcome to my world! Come in, pull up a chair, grab a glass of iced tea and let's chat. I grew up in a small rural town in southeastern Oklahoma where our favorite entertainment on summer evenings was to sit outside under the stars and tell stories. When I went to bed at night, instead of a lullaby, I got a story. That could be due to the fact that everybody in my family has a singing voice like a bullfrog with laryngitis, but they sure could tell stories—ghost stories, funny stories, happy stories, scary stories. For as long as I can remember I've been a storyteller. Thank goodness for computers so I can write down my stories. It's hard to make listeners sit still for the length of a book! Like my family's tales, my stories are funny, scary, dramatic, romantic, paranormal, magic. Besides writing, my interests are reading, eating chocolate and riding my Harley.
