   Anton Swanepoel was born in Pretoria South Africa, and grew up on a farm until his parents moved to a smallholding just outside the city. Sharing his father's passion for adventure, camping, fishing, scuba diving, boating, bikes, fast cars, 4X4 adventures, and travel, all became a part of his life. However, between the speed, mud, and saltwater, he found time for the spiritual. After trying many forms, he was drawn to Reiki healing and became a Reiki Master Teacher. After school he became a software developer for a leading company, where he made an excellent career. Even though his work involved a lot of travel both by air and land, and the fact that you could find him every free moment he had on the seat of a bike taking on the road, or exploring some new town or place, his appetite for travel was just too great. In 2006, he resigned from his company to travel the world as a diving instructor. He found a love for caves, wrecks and deep diving, and became a technical diving instructor and author. After writing and publishing 10 technical books, mostly about diving, Anton finished his first novel in August 2012. ‘Laura and The Jaguar Prophecy’, started as a short story for a friend in 2004, before being changed into a novel.
