  2. Footnote to Murder - 2012-11-07 22:41:39-05
Always someone who knew what she wanted, L. A. Taylor had already chosen a writing career by the time she was in first grade. Staring at the usual exhortation to Spot (Run! Run! Run! Run, Spot, run!), she was vouchsafed a blinding insight: People make this stuff up! I can do that! At the age of 11, she sent her first story to Analog, and got back her first rejection letter. Although she wasn't exactly discouraged, she didn't immediately return to writing. Meanwhile, she went to college, majored in math, worked at a variety of jobs, married and had two children. When she went back to writing, she started with poetry, and her collection Changing the Past won the Minnesota Voices award. L.A. Taylor is the author of several mystery novels (including Footnote to Murder), fantasy and science fiction novels (including Cat's Paw, and Blossom of Erda) and a number of short stories.

  4. Country Girls - 2012-11-08 00:11:42-05
Although Karina Gioertz has been writing for most of her life, it never quite registered with her as something out of the ordinary or worth pursuing, because it was so closely connected to who she was. It wasn’t until she became a stay at home mom and finally took the time to write an entire book from beginning to end, that she understood what all of those ideas she had been jotting down all those years were really for. Since then, she has writtern several books, including Country Girls, Lucky In Love and Welcome To The Half Orphan Club. While writing and motherhood have become her main focus over the years, she also enjoys many other creative activities such as painting and photography. Most sunny days she can be found in her courtyard working feverishly at painting and refurbishing old furniture…that is, of course, only if it wasn’t a suitable day to spend at the beach Karina resides in sunny Florida with her family and two dogs.

  11. Longing for Love: Horoscope Compatibility for Leo - 2012-11-08 23:18:06-05
Welcome to my author page. My name is Rosemary Breen. I'm an author, app developer, and the creator of two websites: Psychic Revolution and Compatibility And Love. The PsychicRevolution website is a natural extension of my academic research. In 2009, I completed a Master of Education degree at Monash University in Australia. The subject of my dissertation was the paranormal. I have lived with the paranormal all my life but that doesn't mean I'm "off with the fairies". My professional background is in the business world, where I worked in finance, marketing and research for many years. So, my approach to most things in life is fairly pragmatic My second website, CompatibilityAndLove reflects my deep interest in personal relationships. I'm a volunteer telephone counsellor at a crisis service here in Australia, and as a wife and mother of two teenagers I know a thing or two about relationships. I'm also 'Mum' to Truffles, our beautiful Border Collie - an author in his own right!
