- The Essential Guide To Overcoming Fears And Phobias - 2012-11-02 22:16:30-04
I'm a Qualified Hypnotherapist having studied with Adam Eason, and have successfully launched 3 Mobile Apps in the areas of Fear of Flying, Work Stress and a mobile app that has all my social media info and blogs. I work very closely with Anxiety UK, and have worked with many clients suffering from anxiety type issues. I also when time allows guest blog for Anxiety Social Net, which provides a real life saver for anxiety sufferers and also fear of stuff. I myself, whilst at school was badly bullied for many years. This caused me to suffer from many things such as depression, low self-esteem, and severe social anxiety. Finally the years of bullying and mental turmoil took its toll, and I made an attempt on my life. It was some time later upon reflection that I realised that this provided the perfect foundation to what I do now. Since those dark days, i've wanted to help others, and inspire others to breakthrough their mental turmoil, and have a deep passion to share my help and support with the world at large. I now have just launched my first book called 'The Essential Guide To Overcoming Fears And Phobias' which shares many of my thoughts on fears and phobias, and how to tackle them. In my spare time i enjoy reading, walking, networking and keeping fit. My favourite magician right now has got to be Dynamo, and i really find his story very inspiring. Thank you for reading, and see you soon.

Jen Carter grew up in San Jose, California, where she took on an early interest in reading the fantastic tales of centuries past. That excitement for literature grew alongside a joy found in writing; she always felt as though she had something to say. After high school, Jen left northern California to attend UCLA where she majored in English. There, her fascination of premodern literature flourished, ultimately driving her to enroll in graduate school and earn her Masters' Degree in Writing and Literature Studies. Jen teaches English in higher education and is writing her second book, which will be released in the Summer of 2013. She is happily married and resides with her beautiful family and Golden Retriever in the San Diego area. In her free time, she enjoys trying to keep up with her family in the great outdoors.

I was born and raised in Southern California and have lived in three countries, three states, and a zillion different cities. I write mostly science fiction, fantasy, and romance for readers ages thirteen and up. In my spare time I love traveling; misquoting movies and TV shows; consuming mounds of books and chocolate; obsessing over music and lyrics; and pretending to be a celebrity chef. I began telling stories when I was five and began writing them down when I was six. I was painfully shy as a child. Writing and reading provided an escape from the scary world. In fact, I was so introverted, I once wrote a story about a girl who got rejected by her imaginary friend and the story was based on true events. I know, how sad. Thankfully, as I got older I grew out of the shyness, for the most part, but I never let go of my books or my pencil.
