He was lucky to have speech therapy because his mother wanted him to have the best of both worlds. He was able to speak with hearing while signing for deaf. He am very proud of himself as deaf, and hearing because he was given plenty of cultures of both worlds. He wouldn't want to take them for granted since we need to apprentice what we have in life. He am a big dreamer. He have so much dreams that he wanted to chase. Being a writer, or trying to be one is one of his dream. He hope he already achieve his dream as novelist. He loved writing. It is the best in the world because he was able to expand the horizon of his imaginations. His family believe that he has a very big imaginations, and writing bring it out for him. Ben grew up in Amarillo, Texas, graduating from Tascosa High School, and spent his first two years of college at West Texas State University. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in dance and choreography, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Directing, from the University of Utah.  For 20 years Ben lived in Los Angeles working in the film and television industry with such stars as John Travolta, Ben Vereen, Francis Coppola, George Burns, Cher, George Lucas, Danny Kaye, Martin Landau, Lucille Ball, Brooke Shields and Sylvester Stallone. While in New York, Ben studied acting at the H.B. Studios, under Herbert Berghoff. In Los Angeles, he studied at the Actor’s Studio, and with Martin Landau and Jeff Corey. Ben began his professional career as a principal dancer with Ballet West and a soloist with the Pennsylvania Ballet, in Philadelphia. He went on to star in A Chorus Line on Broadway, and danced with Ann Margret in Las Vegas. He starred in the film Breaking and was a dancer in the films Staying Alive and Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
