The Ryker Ranch Collection by Kimberly Kullberg

About Featured Book: The Ryker Ranch Collection by Kimberly Kullberg
Three swoony cowboys, three bestselling standalone romances, one collection from Kim Loraine’s Sunrise, Montana world all for 99 cents through 9/27/21.
SADDLE UP
He’s a handsome cowboy trying to save his family’s ranch.
I’m a reality TV producer with a brilliant plan.
Sparks fly when Clint Ryker strikes a deal with me that brings me to the ranch to learn the ropes. But when we get snowed in together, with only one bed, everything changes.
BUCKED OFF
A word of advice. Don’t fall in love with your fake fiancee.
When the producer of my family’s reality show, Saddle Up, tried to get me to participate in an on-screen scripted romance, I saw only one way out. I told them I was unavailable-engaged, to be exact. That meant I needed a fake fiancee, pronto. Enter spitfire, and the girl who got away once upon a time, Penny Callahan. It should be harmless. Pretend to be together until the show is done shooting, then move on with our lives. But living with the woman of my dreams and playing the part of lovesick fool is easy for reasons I don’t want to admit. And I don’t want to let her go.
RIDDEN HARD
Baby daddy (noun)
slang
The cowboy who knocked me up after one night together.
They call me the wild one.
The Ryker brother who’d rather have more notches on his bedpost than rodeo championships.
I’m good with horses, even better with women. I’ve been warned that sowing my oats might have consequences, but I’m always careful. And there’s nothing wrong with having a little fun.
But the truth is, I want more than fun. I want it all. With the right girl.
So when the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen shows up at my ranch, it should all fall into place. Except she’s got a big surprise for me. She’s pregnant, and the kid is mine, but she wants nothing to do with me.

A Life for a Life by Lynda McDaniel
A Life for a Life by Lynda McDaniel
“My life was saved by a murder. At the time, of course, I didn’t understand that. I just knew I was having the best year of my life. Given all the things that happened, I should be ashamed to say it, but that year was a blessing for me.” ~Abit Bradshaw
That’s how this story of suspense and self-discovery begins in 1985 in the small mountain town of Laurel Falls, N.C. After decades as a crime reporter in Washington, D.C., Della Kincaid thinks she’s moved away from all the violence. But a walk in the woods changes everything when she finds a body.
The sheriff calls for what amounts to a coverup. Not so fast, Della argues. She’s spent her life searching for the truth, and she’s not about to stop now. Without her usual sources, she teams up with new friends, including her neighbor–Abit Bradshaw, a teenager struggling to find his rightful place in the world. Along the way, they encounter all kinds of interesting characters, including the best one of all–the lush natural setting of the N.C. mountains.
Will they find the truth before they become the next victims?
Can they find peace in their own lives?
You’ll love this suspenseful story because who doesn’t dream of second chances?
Find out why critics and readers are praising Lynda McDaniel’s unique voice in murder mystery novels.

A Life for a Life is the first novel in the Appalachian Mountain Mysteries series. If you like atmospheric settings, fascinating characters, and suspenseful investigations, you’ll love this series.
“A real treat, highly recommended for its fine attention to both detail and the psyches of investigators who confront themselves as much as the threat at hand.” ~Midwest Book Review

Author Bio:
I love writing page-turners—both fiction and non-fiction. And I love helping others to do the same, living into their dreams of writing books. I believe my success comes down to a respect for my readers and clients. I know I’m easily bored, so I work hard to engage and inspire both audiences.
I got my start as a writer in the most unlikely place—a town of 200 people in the mountains of North Carolina. Living there changed my life in so many positive ways. Decades later, I realized that everything I value today, I was introduced to there. My Appalachian Mountain Mysteries–“A Life for a Life,” “The Roads to Damascus,” “Welcome the Little Children,” and “Murder Ballad Blues”–pay homage to the people of Appalachia who taught me so much.
Over the years, I’ve written more than 1,200 articles for major magazines, hundreds of newsletters and blogs. I’m proudest of the 18 books I’ve written. My nonfiction books include “Words at Work,” which I wrote straight from my heart, a much-needed response to all the questions and concerns people have about writing today. (It won top honors from the National Best Books Awards.)
I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, but I’ve lived all over this country—from the Midwest to the Deep South to Appalachia to the Mid-Atlantic to the Pacific Northwest. Whew! I finally settled in Eureka, California, a place that reflects the values I learned while living in the N.C. mountains all those years ago.

His first book, Cultivating Greatness: Building Virtues with Benjamin Franklin’s Virtue Journal is a motivational journal that helps readers to become better humans by following Benjamin Franklin’s proven example.
With a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from SDA Bocconi School of Management, an M.I.T. Sloan Certification in Neuroscience for Business, and a 20+ year career in the investment banking industry, Giuseppe knows what is needed to achieve complex, life-changing goals and how to motivate people to work towards them.
In his career, he has worked in venture capital, private equity, high yield and loan trading, distressed investments, and leveraged finance. After meeting hundreds of entrepreneurs and businesspeople, he noticed that despite their will to achieve more significant results, some only partially succeeded or failed to reach their aims.
While working on transformative deals for SMEs (small and medium enterprises), Giuseppe became fascinated by the factors that determine the success of some and the defeats of others. Determined to find out more, he discovered that — more than anything else — the neuroscience behind human behavior is crucial for continued success. So, he started digging into the subject to find practical solutions to our daily challenges, and shares his findings and insights in his books and blogs.
Giuseppe is a husband, father of a 20 months old baby boy, a photographer, a swimmer, and a runner. He meditates and practices yoga.

Author Bio:
J.D. Ruffin is the author of the acclaimed, action-packed Kingdom War series, an epic fantasy launched in 2021.
J.D. was born in March 1970 in Nashville, Tennessee, and never really enjoyed reading until a friend loaned him a dog-eared copy of J.R.R. Tolkein’s Fellowship of the Ring. From that day, he was hooked, discovering fantasy authors Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, R.A. Salvatore, Terry Goodkind and many, many others. Not long after, Brad Thor, Vince Flynn and a host of other thriller/suspense writers entered the picture and captured his imagination.
J.D. attended David Lipscomb University, studying speech communications and political science. Becoming an author was never part of the master plan, but…
As a fourteen-year-old nerdy boy, J.D. and his friends would gather around the D&D dice for hours on end, trading reality for fantasy, if only in their minds. In his quest to “stump his friends” with an impossible campaign, he dreamed up a storyline that captured his imagination. Then… well… nothing happened. He grew up and went to work in a completely different world.
Too many years later, that story he dreamed pulled at the corner of his mind, demanding to be heard… to be written.
Hence, an author was born.

Murder in the Atchafalaya by Jim Riley
Murder in the Atchafalaya by Jim Riley
Murder in the Atchafalaya
by Jim Riley
book review by Joe Kilgore
“Trixie’s unblinking gaze fixed onto whatever follows death as her last breath left her body.”
A lot of things can kill you in the Louisiana swamps, not the least of which are water moccasins, alligators, and maybe even something unworldly called a Rougarou. But as the body count rises in this jambalaya mystery, it becomes apparent that the increasing death toll is mostly due to some very bad villains and some very tough law enforcers.
Kristi is a young college graduate from West Texas recently hired and trained by the Treasury Department. While on the hunt for two of her colleagues, she manages to get herself assaulted and lost in the Atchafalaya Basin. Hawk is an ex-military combat vet now working for the United States Ranger Services. He’s asked by his old friend, the Parish Sheriff, to try to find Kristi. What he finds is not only the woman he’s looking for but also a hell of a lot of trouble. Together, Hawke and Kristi wind up in the middle of ruffians, counterfeiters, financial scalawags, and murderers. As they try to figure out what’s happening and why, while continually staying one step ahead of assassins, they begin to form a bond of respect, friendship, and perhaps even more.
Author Riley does a first-rate job of steeping the reader in the milieu of South Louisiana and Cajun mores. From murders at mudbug fests to menacing mosquito swarms to monumentally malevolent snake pits, he puts the heat and humidly on every page. He’s also adept at weaving a spider-webbed plot that is both intricate and credible. There’s action, suspense, humor, and even a dash of romance in this gumbo of a novel that promises to start a series of adventures for Kristi and Hawke.

Canawlers by James Rada Jr.
Hugh Fitzgerald is a proud canawler. For ten months a year, he and his family live on their canal boat, working hard to earn enough to get them through the lean winter months when the canal is drained.
The year 1862 is a hard year to live on the canal, though. To this point, the Confederacy has stayed south of the canal, but now the Confederate Army intends to go on the offensive and take the war into the north.
Not only are the Fitzgeralds’ lives endangered by the increased activity of warring armies and raiders on the canal, but the Fitzgeralds’ secret activity as a stop along the Underground Railroad only endangers their lives all the more.
Then fate takes Hugh away from his family, leaving his wife, Alice, to hold the family together. With the help of her children; Thomas, George, and Elizabeth; Tony, an orphan from Cumberland; and David Windover, a disillusioned Confederate soldier, they will face the dangers presented by the war, nature, and the railroad together.

Brave the Wave
About Brave the Wave
Anxious? Stressed? Confused? Looking for Solutions?
As a practicing physician for twenty years, that is exactly the situation that Johnny Cavazos was in. What stunned and shocked him the most was one inescapable fact. He didn’t know what he didn’t know.
As he describes it, “The best analogy I can offer is that it’s like taking your car to the mechanic to replace a faulty fuel pump and he hands you the keys to a brand new Mercedes Benz and says, “take it, it’s yours.” (That’s how Elvis used to give away cars.) There is more value here than a new Mercedes.”
In this poignant and riveting account of his decade long journey of discovery, you will be entertained while gaining valuable insight to help you understand and actually appreciate the waves, trials and storms that we all encounter in our lives.
This inspiring narrative of personal experiences will reveal useful and practical approaches to help increase joy, clarity, love and personal peace in your life. This book makes for a fascinating, powerful and uplifting read that can inspire each of us to reach for heights we never thought attainable.
With brutal honesty and humor, Johnny uses short vignettes from the medical world and from the captivating world of near-death experiences to take us on a journey that is spell binding, powerful and life changing.
Writing in a comfortable and warm style, Johnny takes us on this trip into spirituality, faith and the near death experience as he unpacks ideas that will open up an experience of clarity and vision you didn’t even realize existed.
Brave the Wave will share valuable insights that will have a personal and powerful impact on every relationship you have, bringing benefits to you and everyone around you.

Author Bio:
Johnny Cavazos is a practicing emergency room physician with over thirty years of experience. As he likes to say in his books. Experience matters.
Johnny actually started working in emergency rooms as a senior in high school at the age of seventeen. The ER is an amalgam of fascinating experiences that run the gamut of life. These experiences provided a background fertile for growth and understanding that transcended the normal daily routine case load in the ER.
Because of a series of untoward stumbles and failures, Johnny landed in a world of stress, anxiety and frustration. This lead him to a “decade of discovery”. A ten year journey of spiritual discovery, enlightenment, and clarity. The result? Four books. The Authentic Self Series.
As he was working through these trials and troubles, he began studying the bible and at the exact same time was introduced to the phenomenon of NDEs. Near death experiences. That lead to a 10 year focus on bible study, the Christian faith and the science and spiritual insight provided by NDEs.
You can visit Johnny’s website at bravethewave.org.
You can download a free PDF file titled “The Top Head to Toe Symptoms That Make Your Doctor Nervous”. Thirty years of experience brings some valuable nuggets that can be useful.
WHY I WRITE
When it comes to writing, I had no desire to be a writer. There came a point in all this studying and journaling when I came to the conclusion, “If I don’t write all these ideas and experiences down, my head is going to explode.” Not only that, my family and friends were sick of hearing me talk about all these ideas and spiritual experiences.
It became a “can’t not” decision. That idea is in my second book on passion and purpose. When it is something that you “can’t not” do, pay attention. Honestly most of the writing is the response to a series of questions. Many, many questions. As I say in my books, “I would venture to say that I am not the smartest guy in the room at a cocktail party, but I bet I’m one of the most curious.”
Some of the most compelling questions have to do with passion, power, purpose and pain. The big Ps. I discuss passion, purpose and power in my second book and pain in my third.
My first book, “Brave The Wave”, focuses on the “Authentic Self” and how we can move closer to the idea or the blueprint that God had in mind when he created us. True authenticity. Not the “best version” or a “better version of our self” because those bring something into the equation that tends to take us in the wrong direction. Our own personal opinion or the opinion of others.
I believe the “Authentic Self” is an ideal. It is objective. It is who God has in mind. Some people will say, “that’s easy. God wants us to be like Jesus. That’s it.” That is a great starting point and there is no question that there is no downside to emulating Jesus. But we are endowed with talents, experiences, passions and gifts that are distinct and unique. Unique to us as individuals.
Engaging all of these while striving to grow in our relationship to Jesus is the key to reaching our “Authentic Self”. The self we were created to be.
Along the way, we are going to have trials, troubles, obstacles and waves.
Hence, “Brave The Wave”.

The Infoboros : Recursion Across Mind, Matter, and Information by Vidur Mishra
About The Infoboros : Recursion Across Mind, Matter, and Information by Vidur Mishra
#1 New Release in Field of #cybernetics #spirituality
Vidur Mishra (Information Scientist and Yogi) presents “The Infoboros: Recursion Across Mind, Matter, and Information”
The Infoboros shows #recursion and #information to be two different aspects of a unitary universal phenomenon. In the participatory feedback loop of #observer and #reality , recursion drives and regulates the flow of information, and information self-referentially triggers recursion.
The Infoboros is an information-eater. It is here to eat the strange loop of information that eats you. In a glorious tapestry woven from #informationtheory , #logic , #quantumphysics , #neurophenomenology , #linguistics , #computation , and the contemplative science of #tantra , Vidur Mishra’s The Infoboros reminds us who and what we are, again.
Recursion is both an unbridled power and an endless issue (source of repetitive deceptions and knots) for a sentient being such as a human. If recursion spirals out of your hands, then life will slip away too. It will pick you apart and then Knock Out you. This is what has happened to humanity as it became one-dimensionally obsessed with representational cognition (via virtual symbolic reference) and forgot its many other profound organismic assets and qualities. A decent chunk of the world has endless external conveniences and ever-increasing distribution of models about many things, but it is rare for people to have an extremely deep experience (on a daily basis) of their own existence. Many can articulate and argue really well endlessly, but hardly anyone is always Alice in Wonderland. In simpler words, as Sadhguru says, “People have fallen too much in love with words and have lost the actual world.”
On the other hand, if recursion is consciously and energetically mastered, then you become the weaver of your own fate. You become a Tantric. “Tan” signifies “to loom or weave.” Tantra means “To Weave Your Destiny On Your Will.” Then no matter how wild things get (even on the cosmic level), within yourself, you will remain absolutely unfettered, untouched.
The meta symbol of Ouroboros is a universal morphism map that can encode and map almost anything and everything onto itself. It can unite many other maps by and onto itself. It can be extended infinitely. It puts the observer back into the dynamic reality that the observer infinitely participates in and further generates endlessly. It puts the modeler back into the infinite (undivided wholeness) reality that it always incompletely discerns, dissects, and models. It points to the unchanging unmoved mover that self-causes itself into infinite changing living manifestations and then participates (plays) with(in) them without being changed by them. In Yogic traditions, it encodes the most potent coiled serpent of Kundalini that magnifies in its explosive magnitude as it spirals upward through each iteration, the self-created cycle of Samsara, the self-negation of Nirvana, the self-sealing of Mahamudra, the self-knowledge of Veda, the self-unification of Yoga, the self-illumination of Atman, the self-reality of Brahman, the self-dancing movement of Shakti, the self-stilling-silencing dissolution of Shiva.
You can cut through your physical body cleanly into your energy body by using your razor-sharp awareness and deeply experience major chakras, especially the rare ones extending outside the frame of the physical body to have a subtle rotatory movement as depicted by the cover of the Infoboros. A chakra can be experienced to be continuously folding back upon itself. By continuously eating itself, it contains itself. It keeps itself still on one spot and prevents dispersion. But in every iteration, by eating itself, it also again triggers its reverberation. So, it keeps whirling on one spot like a whirlpool wheel. Hence, it is called chakra (wheel of energy). A chakra is an Infoboros of recursive energetic information. The Infoboros is a chakra of recursive semantic information.
The universe, as a whole, is a pure recursive play of active intelligence on itself, by itself. The Ouroboros is a tail eater. The Infoboros is an information-eater. Eat all your karmic (recurring active) information. Eat the strange loop that eats you, and be free.
The book has received advance praise from people like Padma Shri winner (spiritual scientist) Subhash Kak, Psychology Today blogger Bobby Azarian, Psychedelic Scientist Richard Doyle, and others.

Author Bio:
In this brief life so far, Vidur Mishra has spent a lot of time doing nothing while doing quite a few decent things but none as marvelous as doing nothing. During the pandemic of 2020 that baby-shook the already distressed information-overloaded planet, he graduated with a B.S. in Information Sciences and Technology and a minor in Philosophy from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University, Pennsylvania, USA. Well, it seems he is well equipped to jump in this uncertain sea of information. Not primarily because of his education. But because of his practice in meditation that allows him to discern signal from noise patiently—with compassion towards his fellow sentient beings. A graceful practice that allows him to mindfully navigate the “strange loop” of dualistic thought, intellect, language, logic, and tech-driven materialistic culture.
Vidur completed an undergraduate honors thesis. It explores 1) eastern philosophy and practices of mind (esp. Advaita Vedanta and Dzogchen) to dissolve self-referential egoic thought and 2) the western theories of consciousness, such as integrated information theory and strange loops, to understand and model how thought and ego emerge due to the self-referential movement of recursive semantic information. Since the consumption of sensory and symbolic information recursively consumes attention and feeds the ego, it has become ever more important to take some meditative practice in this information-overloaded age. As such, Vidur practices kriya yoga, self-inquiry and sh00nya meditations, mad ecstatic bhakti, and wise surgical jnana. Sometimes, he supplements this practice with silent dancing mime, psychedelic visionary art, and kooky eerie poetry.
Since a very young age, Vidur knew that he knows nothing. As such, he shut up and naturally abided in silence and stillness. He didn’t know what else to do. Hence, as Wittgenstein famously said, “Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent.” Vidur has been very grateful to the universe for blessing his path with many blissful teachers who have nurtured his understanding of the view and abidance in the state of primordial, selfless, thoughtless consciousness. Some of these beings include Ramakrishna and Richard Doyle (the ecstatic bhakti duo), Ramana Maharshi and Gary Weber (the calm jnana duo), Adi Shankara and Franklin Merrell-Wolff (the indifferent surgical jnana duo), Sadhguru (the energy kriya man), and Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche (the effortless spontaneous man). For example, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche initiated Richard Doyle, and Richard Doyle recursively initiated Vidur into Dzogchen non-meditation meditation without any physical effort-based initiation process. The initiation was as spontaneous, effortless, choiceless, formless, thoughtless, and natural as the primordial awareness itself. As it is. Then, there is a whole bunch of people who taught him academic information-cognitive science and philosophy. John Wheeler is one such eccentric being—a self-excited circuit in this participatory universe. David Deutsch, Douglas Hofstadter, Philip K. Dick, Wittgenstein, etc. follow.
However, there is one sentient being who has shaken Vidur madly from the very core of his existence like none other. It is the primordial guru Adiyogi (First Yogi) Shiva himself. Who is Shiva? Shiva is that which is not. As such, Vidur has now only one unfettered seeking—to dissolve fully in the Great Space (Maha Kala) of Parama Shiva (Absolute Nothingness). Liberated. Free.
Vidur’s first book The Infoboros: Recursion Across Mind, Matter, and Information is now available on Amazon. After a long evolutionary and selection process driven by semantic information, it has recursively emerged out of nowhere.
