About 100 by 100: Stories in 100 Words
100 by 100 is a collection of 100 stories that are each 100 words long. Mathematically, that makes each worth 1/10 of a picture. Some of these 0.1 pictures are scary, some are funny, some are funny and scary, while others are just odd.

Tronick by Rosie Record
About Tronick by Rosie Record
Too tall to see beyond and impossible to breach, the iconic wall encompassing California-Annex is nothing more than a forgettable reality for generation PW1.6. But while the general populace is addicted to Shine and manipulated by the incessant n-sub messaging, Fiona Tronick is different. She’s seen as a grungy dealer, but she’s really a street operative for The Agency. And she’s always been loyal to her employer.
As civil unrest simmers throughout the Annex, Tronick is confronted with information that makes her question The Agency’s agenda and loyalty. She starts to see the lies go deeper and wider than she could have ever imagined. From Topside Stacks to the underbelly of the Trenches, everything is connected. Connected to her.
Follow Tronick as she rubs shoulders with political leaders in coastal mansions, confronts religious zealots in flooded San Diego, reconnects with her outlaw brother, and taps into the Annex’s gritty underworld in this dystopian-cyberpunk adventure.

Author Bio:
Rosie Record spent her first three years in Japan, the next three in Texas, and then the rest of her childhood in a sleepy mountain community in Southern California. She always dreamed of writing, pushing east, and exploring the world, but after graduating with a BA in linguistics, she married a serviceman and became entrenched in the world of corporate instead. It wasn’t until she left her abusive marriage, packed a single suitcase, and flew from San Diego to New York, she internalized what she had been telling herself for years: You only have one life, so live it well… live it without fear. Record had become her own knight in battle-worn armor, and with that, started to write again. The story of Fiona Tronick started out as just scribbles in a notebook, but after starting her life over in NYC, Record revisited the story with determination. The concept of ‘freedom is to the east’ permeated each rewrite and the story grew into a mental revolution.

The Sailing Snailor
About The Sailing Snailor
The sailing snailor is a captain on a nautical ocean adventure as he battles a giant octopus with his starfish sidekick, Sam. He’s no Jack Sparrow, Blackbeard, or scraggly pirate, but he must save the love of his life; a mersnail (mermaid) that waits to be rescued from the bottom of the sea. Sam and the Snailor save the helpless mersnail by removing a sea spiny urchin from the giant octopus’s bum. After the damsel in distress is released, she swims to the Snailors side and they live happily ever after as they watch a beautiful beach view sunset.
This book has a rhyme on every page, which is catchy for young children and enables memory through phonics. Phonics is a method of teaching people to read by correlating sounds with letters or groups of letters in an alphabetic writing system. Teaching phonics and rhyming to a child develops their phonological awareness skills – which play an important part of becoming a good reader.
