As Aangshin learns to tap into his innate powers through the fuel of rage, his body slowly transforms into something more monstrous, as his mind devolves into something demonic. Led by his five godly fathers, Aangshin encounters several opponents in the world of Desolation, some being gods with overwhelming magical capabilities, others being monsters capable of wiping out all life on the planet, with every fight becoming more energetic and more brutal than the last. Genuine martial arts are mixed in with over-the-top magical fighting, giving some of the later battles similar feelings to those one would get from watching anime shows such as DBZ or Naruto. During all of this, Aangshin is not only pushed to his physical limits, but he is tested mentally as well. While those who created him show him naught but disdain, the godly king he was born to destroy shows him only kindness, and even offers to help him reach his full potential. He begins questioning whether he is truly fighting for the right side, or if he is instead being used as a tool for evil. The decision-making process ends up becoming very… Violent…

My introduction to writing was rather sudden and unexpected. I always enjoyed writing stories when I had to at school, yet I never considered going down the writing path until I had a nightmare during university that made me think “some of things I dream could probably make good horror films”. Not being adept at film making, I tried writing instead and it just felt right. I started by making some short stories out of dreams that I could remember and altered them to fit into one big story that ended up being around 40k words. The Old Gods of Desolation was in essence an experiment to see if I could write a full-length story, and to see if people would like it. I got the full-length story out (80k words), so now I’m trying to get opinions to see if it is worth me carrying on with this line of work

As a transplant from Boston in 1995, I held executive roles on various Boards of Directors with the Internet Coast – CIO Council, South Florida Telecom Forum and the South Florida Technology Alliance, Mental Wellness Network Alliance, & Fire Wall.
My career began with me advising business owners as to their telecommunications infrastructure. I worked with Verizon Business managing National & Global account teams in the Fortune 1000 space. I saw the dot-com bubble first hand. In 2000, I went into real estate working with consumers and business owners as to their property and mortgages. I worked with Coldwell Banker for 7 years until the credit collapse.

I started my finance career working with a boutique investment bank. Shortly thereafter, I was recruited by UBS Private Wealth Management. My training also includes experience with Met Life and Raymond James.
This opportunity availed me of some of the most sophisticated strategies in banking and wealth management. The families we worked with had various projects with very different goals; probably much like yourself. I learned how to breakdown these disparate needs into projects and build the appropriate teams of expertise to accomplish the goal.
Much of my volunteer time has been invested in the Boy Scouts of America. We do a tremendous amount of work on projects supporting many other charitable organizations in the community. David A. Tatum was born in Ithaca, NY, the son of a fashion designer and a book-collecting librarian who later became a spy. By the time he was four years old, he’d mastered how to spell the word “cat,” which made inevitable his decision to become an author.

Moving to Washington DC in order to keep his parents company, he started training in kenpo by the age of seven. Sadly, after failing to achieve his blackbelt despite twenty years of training, he gave up hopes of a career in martial arts and resumed his love of writing.

By the time he was in high school, he joined a national organization dedicated to adventure and exploration — later becoming a chapter president — with the goal of using it to identify a route into the center of the Earth. Unfortunately, the Suffolk, Virginia caves he explored were all dead ends.

When his father died, he inherited a large library that there was no space for in his home and a life-threatening dental condition. He spent the next year and a half dealing with both.
