Forty-two thousand years ago, our ancestors Neanderthal, who lived on earth for more than 300,000 years, suddenly disappeared. Until now, no one knows why? Humans have only lived for 200,000 years, and it looks as if the days are now numbered. Raising drug-resistant bacteria causing common infections of the bloodstream, urinary, gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts, will infect every human, including the greedy humans who cashed during the crisis. The bugs we cannot see will force us drastically alter the way we practice modern medicine if we don’t this will bring an end of the profession that was claimed to be “Nobel”.

I worked as a trainer, assessor of doctors, nurses and medical students for almost thirty years as a physician in acute and intensive care in major hospitals in the UK. In 1996, some hospitals in “The National Health Service” (NHS) introduced “Pre-Printed Assessment Sheet”, to help junior doctors collect information, I challenged this and published a letter in a medical journal.

In 2003, I was asked to teach nurses to diagnose infections and prescribe antibiotics. After training two batches, I felt this was not safe and un-ethical. My concern was ignored, and nurses were licenced in 2006, by the health secretary to work as doctors, offer advice, prescribe drugs as doctors do.

I promised to protect humanity and patient care, so I made “Protected Disclosure” hoping the General Medical Council, The British Medical Association and the World Medical Association hoping they will protect patient care, but they did not. Not knowing what to do, I collected and compiled a list of presenting complaints and created MAYA (Medical Advice You. Access), a colour coded list of symptoms to help differentiate common from a serious illness. Patients who used my system loved this, but doctors, healthcare providers and even the people in power hated my method.
