Forgotten Gods by ST Branton
Forgotten Gods by ST Branton
FREE January 4-8, 2021
The gods are real…and they want their world back.
Thousands of years ago, ancient deities fought a civil war that nearly destroyed the earth. They were defeated by a great warrior—and banished to spend eternity beyond the reach of the humans who once served them.
Their war is raging once again.
And once again, it will require a great hero to save humanity.
Unfortunately for humanity, I’m that hero.
My name is Vic Stratton. I’m no saint, but I’m the best chance we’ve got at surviving the chaos about to be unleashed. But hey, at least I have my good looks, a quick tongue, and the sword of the gods on my side.
And I’m going to need it. Because when the gods return, all hell will break loose.

ST Branton is the combined pen name for authors CM Raymond and LE Barbant.
CM Raymond calls a river valley of Western Pennsylvania home.
Outside of reading and writing, he loves to spend time with his family in the woods and wilds or the city streets.
L. E. Barbant is a sometimes Professor trying to cut it as a science fiction and fantasy author. A fan of classics–new and old–Lee tries to write books that take an honest look at the world and then say screw it, let’s find a better one. Because who wouldn’t want to live in a world where superheroes were real?
When he’s not reading, writing, or binge-watching 90s era cartoons, he debates grammar rules with his wife (he mostly loses those fights), plays board games with his friends (he often wins those fights), and contemplates the meaning of life with his cat named Cat (which is never a fight at all since Cat is a pacifist). Lee also co-hosts the Part-Time Writers Podcast with his friend and writing partner C.M. Raymond.
He currently resides outside of Pittsburgh, PA and plans to stay there as long as the great city will put up with him.

Author Bio:
I was raised in Paterson New Jersey. We were very urbane compared to kids that lived in cities right next to us, but at the same time we were as innocent. When my parents divorced I got a peak into the dark side of the world experience the first ever heartbreak as I would come to understand it.
Still I believed in kindness and love and dreams coming true. In Paterson we were having a renaissance, to some extent, started by a classical yet modern sculptor Gaetano Federici, who had his would leave an impression on me. I thought that every city had a “sculptor.” I also thought that if I were to be any kind of artist or craftsman, I’d have to be as good or better than Federici. I could not claim success without making art that was as monumental and as important.
I studied Liberal Arts and had refined training in theater arts and crafts, music and dance. I was able to bring that home. By a stroke of serendipity, I was a part of the commission to write the History Play of the City of Paterson for the Bi-Centennial of the city in 1992. Working with the Theater and Music Department of William Paterson University, I was able to create my first true work of art. I wrote the storyline and poetry for the play as well as music based on the city brand, at the time, for children to sing at the end of the show. The small musical piece inspired a longer libretto telling a similar but minimalist “Bread and Puppet” style “Ballet.” These two works solidified my desire to continue to create for the stage. However, in order to be creative with little and no resources, I had to pare down my storytelling to 10-15 minute performances for what was later to be called the Ivanhoe Artists Mosaic Inc.

Fighting for Carlton: Preparing Your Child with Autism for Life’s Journey by Emmy Dagnan
Fighting for Carlton: Preparing Your Child with Autism for Life’s Journey by Emmy Dagnan
I could fill a book with stories about my young son, Carlton. When I was a professor at a university in Nashville, where I lived with my husband and two children, I used to tell some of those stories to my class. It was a three hour lecture on anatomy and kinesiology that could stand a little breaking up with some occasional humor. Carlton and his behavior, as always, could bring a smile to most faces, as least when recounted as a story—after the fact. A couple of students would come up and tell me I should do just that—write a book of these stories inspired by my son because they were just so funny. But honestly, though I’ll share some of those stories in this book, that is not what inspired me to write it. What did lead me to write this book is a desire to share some of what my husband and I have learned, often the hard way, about raising a child with autism. This book will discuss the many faces of autism, treatments available once you have a diagnosis, impact on family, and planning for the future. There are activities at the end of the chapters to help parents navigate the diagnosis.

When I was a kid, I became introduced to the fantasy genre by the movie Willow. To this day, that movie remains within my top 10 greatest fantasy movies of all time. Ever since then, I became obsessed with telling epic stories filled with dragons, magic, sword fights, and great battles between good and evil.
Today, I write mainly in the epic fantasy and gaslamp fantasy sub-genres. My magic systems tend to lean more towards hard well-defined systems and all of my work will take place within the same universe and will often intersect.
A little about me…
Though I am still fairly young, I feel like I’ve lived many lives.
I learned to ride the unicycle to impress a girl. Didn’t work.
I’ve GM’d an ongoing tabletop group for over 5 years now.
I wrote my own original tabletop RPG for said group. May publish that later when I feel the time is right.
I learned the guitar and played in several cover bands including an 80s metal band, Eagles cover band, and a Beatles cover band.
I’ve fought in the octagon as an amateur mixed martial artist. Did that for about 2 years before finding something far more fun.
I joined the SCA and participated in large scale medieval-inspired battles. I learned exactly how it feels to fight in armor and I do my best to incorporate that into my writing.
I went to college and earned my degree in kinesiology and biomechanics. I work as a personal trainer for now, but I’m hoping to switch to writing full time soon.
And now I am pursuing a career as an indie author! I’m sure this life will stick;D

I’ve spent most of my life helping my fellow man, and making sure I got well paid for it. After a long career as a police officer, I put away my guns and switched to driving the
elderly and infirm to medical visits as a community service. Along the way I found time to write five novels, two of which were rejected by every publisher and agent in the Free World. But with no marketable skills, not smart enough to steal and too ugly to work in Radio, the only thing left open to me is writing.
About the Streak Wilson stories, all I can say is, “The Devil made me do it!”
