About With No Regrets: Getting Older…Face It, Live It, Love It
Do you remember that moment you looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the face? Do you feel like time is flying by and you’re caught in its wings? This honest, straight from the soul book, will resonate with every woman who’s struggled with growing older. A witty and sharp observer of life, Jane H. Goldman reveals her fears and thoughts about growing older and freeing herself from the expectations of others. She looks within and realizes how often she lived her life being what others wanted her to be – parents, lovers, friends, employers. She’s not afraid to examine fears of growing older; vanity and greed; lovers who were right and wrong; choices made along the way; loss and grief; regrets; and most of all learning to live life as herself and appreciating the joys of growing older. In these beautiful and cleverly written essays and poetry, you’ll find insights and inspiration for your own journey and living a life without regrets.

The Old Gods of Desolation by A. L. Plumb

The story is set before Earth earned it’s name, back when it was filled with gods, monsters, and creatures of nightmares. The gods protecting humanity proved far too strong for their opponents, so their opposition decided they needed a weapon. They create a demon who is more powerful than anything that has ever been created before, only they rushed his creation a bit too much and he ended up being just a really nice guy who loves everyone. The story follows the demon, Aangshin, as both sides try to push him against the other, neither truly understanding how deadly he can become if pushed too far…

My introduction to writing was a bit random. I have always had odd dreams and nightmares, but one in particular made me think “I could make good horror films with this stuff”. I don’t have the knowledge or skills for film making, so I tried writing instead and it just felt right. I started with short stories based on my dreams and nightmares and tried to link them together into a bigger plotline, which at some point I intend to rewrite into a full series of books. This book is my first that is full length and my first to be published. In essence, it is my test to see if people will enjoy the madness within my mind.

The Maiden Tree by Julianna Drumheller
About The Maiden Tree by Julianna Drumheller
At eight years old, Amardine Desmarius longs to know all about her mother, a famous opera singer who died under mysterious circumstances. But her father is strangely reticent about the subject, becoming alarmed, even angry, when she shows signs of wanting to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
As Amardine’s curiosity grows, so too does her anxiety about the future, especially as a deadly epidemic threatens her household. After a vagabond dies of the disease on her family’s land, Amardine begins to see ominous signs and portents. Influenced by her maid’s beliefs about spirits and demons, she imagines that something is reaching out from another world to communicate with her. But is she just a fretful child, or is there a pattern drawing her into a fate she doesn’t understand?
As she attempts to uncover the truth about her mother’s legacy, Amardine must contend with an emotionally distant father, a high-society aunt who treats her like a charity project, and her two resentful, bullying cousins. Then her life is suddenly turned upside down by an event she didn’t foresee, and she is drawn even deeper into the shadowy world her mother inhabited. In the process, she learns to stand up for herself, take pride in who she is, and accept that people are not always as she imagines them to be.
The Maiden Tree is the first volume of The Umbral Origins Trilogy, a coming-of-age series set in a world where magic is evolving with culture, and poised to collide with new technologies. Told from an older perspective, Amardine recounts the childhood experiences that will shape her into an artist and mystic, and eventually bring her infamy. How far will she go to find the truth and unlock her own potential? And will it bring her the healing she seeks, or lead her further into darkness?

Wisconsin: A Captivating Guide to the History of Wisconsin and Peshtigo Fire of 1871 by Captivating History
About Wisconsin: A Captivating Guide to the History of Wisconsin and Peshtigo Fire of 1871 by Captivating History
Two captivating manuscripts in one book:
History of Wisconsin: A Captivating Guide to the History of the Badger State, Starting from the Arrival of Jean Nicolet through the Fox Wars, War of 1812, and Gilded Age to the Present
• The Peshtigo Fire of 1871: A Captivating Guide to the Deadliest Wildfire in the History of the United States of America That Occurred in Northeastern Wisconsin
The pristine lakes, towering forests, and breathtaking views of Wisconsin are well-known sights that attract large numbers of tourists every year. Thousands of people flock to Wisconsin each year to hunt in its woods, fish in its waters, or kayak along its many rivers. There are plenty of museums to walk through, too, and much to see within them, from the tragic stories in the Peshtigo Fire Museum to the awe-inspiring sight of the fossilized Boaz mastodon at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
However, the history of Wisconsin is so much more than just exhibits in museums. The 30th state has a long, rich story behind its modern-day facade. Thousands of years ago, ancient peoples hunted giant beasts on the frozen glaciers that have now given way to rivers and lakes. Rich cultures populated the frigid early forests of Wisconsin, eventually giving way to the arrival of French explorers. Soon, the British took over, ushering in an era of booming colonization, and Wisconsin saw its first recorded war. With the American Revolution, Wisconsin became free, and that brought a whole new set of challenges for its people to face.
Wisconsin’s history is as richly detailed and relentlessly interesting as its glorious landscapes. Its history has always paralleled that of the United States, giving a fascinating deeper glimpse into a story we all know so well. Wisconsin saw the effects of colonialism, stood up for the rights of all people during the Civil War, and endured the wrath of fire. And in this book, you’ll discover its story.

Some would call me a little naughty, but I see myself as a writer of spicy thoughts. Being a romance writer is something that I never imagined I would be doing. There is nothing more rewarding than to put your thoughts down in words and share them. I began writing seven years ago and have enjoyed every minute. When I first started writing, I wasn’t sure what I would write. It didn’t take me long to realize that romance would be my niche. I believe that every life deserves a little bit of romance; a little spice doesn’t hurt either. When I am not writing, I enjoy the company of good friends and relaxing with a delicious glass of red wine.

The Pragmatist’s Guide to Life: A Guide to Creating Your Own Answers to Life’s Biggest Questions
About The Pragmatist’s Guide to Life: A Guide to Creating Your Own Answers to Life’s Biggest Questions
As humans, we get to choose what we believe and who we want to be. This book is a ruthlessly pragmatic guide to creating your own answers to life’s biggest questions.
Each of this book’s four chapters covers one of the most important questions a person must ask themselves:
What is the purpose of my life?
How can I best realize the purpose of my life?
Who do I want to be?
How do I want other people to think of me?
Rather than give you answers to these questions, this guide provides a framework that helps you develop your own answers while equipping you with the neuroscientific tools necessary to transform yourself into whomever you choose to be.
If you are looking for a light read that will make you feel good about yourself, this isn’t the book for you. If you want to take the time to think hard, take full ownership of the person you have allowed yourself to become, and permanently transform yourself into the best iteration of that person then you have found your book.

Hello, thanks for giving this a read. Just a little about me.
I’m from the West Midlands, United Kingdom and I’ve loved Fantasy books ever since I could remember.
One of my favourite series is by Raymond E. Feist. That long set of books spread over many series started the backbone of my reading life, and I’ve branched out from there. You can’t beat a good fantasy book that draws you in.
But I don’t just read Fantasy books, but Sci Fi and some Horror as well. Brian Lumley is one of my favourite Horror authors. Got to love his Necroscope series.
Sci fi wise, I’ve currently embarked on reading the Horus Heresy Books, so any WH40K fans want to chat come find me on my Facebook page.
Another Sci Fi favourite of mine are the Commonwealth books by Peter F Hamilton. Something about them speaks to me, almost as if we’re just short of springing into space as a Race now. I hope I see humans living on other planets before my time here is done.
But… Back to my books. I’ve got a lot planned for this series of mine, lots of spin offs, prequel books and further exploration of my world. So please follow me and keep your eyes peeled for my new releases.

Author Bio:
Grea (pronounced Gray) Alexander is a female writer of African American, Native American and French descent who does not write her profiles in the 3rd person.
Born and raised in Houston, TX, I have successfully wormed my way across many a border and have, in effect, managed to infect all that I survey with my particular brand of grea-ness. My books are very character-driven with a focus on flawed, dynamic, culturally-diverse characters and strong, smart female protagonists.
