Author Bio:
Paul was born long, long ago in Cincinnati, Ohio. He had a normal childhood and did moderately well in school. When he came of age, he went to numerous colleges, starting with Ohio State University in Columbus and culminating at Kennesaw State College north of Atlanta, Georgia. That’s right: mid-college, he moved South where he indulged in fatty cuisine and intolerance for his fellow man. He received a BA in English which, sadly, benefited him little. Paul, in his early years, lacked a teacher’s temperament and professional writing jobs were few and far between. Undaunted, our hero returned to school where he received a degree in Computer Animation. For the next decade, he worked in the video game industry. During that ten year span, he relocated from Georgia to sunny Southern California. He also took a wife and — much to society’s regret — he produced twin offspring. In addition to his stint as an artist for games, Paul has also worked in fast food, retail, writing (some fifteen years after getting his English degree), video editing, and — most recently — teaching.
Paul enjoys reading, writing, and watching movies. He is, to this day, shockingly intolerant of his fellow man.

The First Year of Hell: A Compendium of How Democratic Ideals Fared Against Trump Administration Threats in 2017
About The First Year of Hell: A Compendium of How Democratic Ideals Fared Against Trump Administration Threats in 2017
Did Trump damage American democracy in 2017? Was he able to destroy all that President Obama and earlier presidents achieved over the past 30 years? Is he working with the Russians to reach this goal? Unfortunately, he and his cabinet made great headway into this destruction.
In 2017, Trump reversed executive orders and chose White House advisors and cabinet members who wanted to eliminate the many democratic advances made over the past eight years–and even, in some cases, over the past several decades.
To make matters worse, changes came so fast and furious that even the media could not keep up with everything that occurred day-to-day and minute-to-minute. By writing a tweet in seconds, Trump altered foreign relations, destroy personal associations, and eliminate policies.
Communication specialist, researcher and nonfiction author Sharon L. Cohen is known for synthesizing a great deal of overwhelming information and providing succinct, thorough and easy-to-understand copy.
Her book covers topics such as:
The Obama executive orders Trump rescinded and the new ones he formed;
Background on new cabinet members and advisors and steps they took to disrupt their departments;
The President’s “foreign, foreign affairs” and the impact on American allies and adversaries; Trump supporters and detractors;
Attacks on the media and free speech;
The rise of many hurtful “isms” and divisiveness; falsehoods and deceptions;
And myriad firings and resignations.
Plus, Cohen’s compendium offers a timeline of Russian and Trump surrogate relations from 2016 to 2018. This timeline help readers make sense of the many names and events that can be formidable.
The First Year of Hell presents a streamlined synopsis of all that occurred in 2017.
In a very confusing, hectic and distraught historic period, this guide helps readers feel more in control and less worried about the state of the nation.

Blaike: Secrets Gone Askew
About Blaike: Secrets Gone Askew
“Sisters-in-law to marquises and wards of earls do not marry uneducated bastards with empty coffers.”
In this fourth installment of USA Today bestselling author Collette Cameron’s Conundrums of the Misses Culpepper series, a roguish sea captain battles his attraction to a gently-bred hellion.
Captain Oliver Whitehouse has two goals:
1-make the final payment on his ship.
2-exact revenge for his grandfather’s murder.
He certainly shouldn’t interrupt years of planning to rescue a damsel in distress and see her safely to England. Nor should he foolishly entertain romantic notions about a future with the impulsive beauty. Even if she is the loveliest creature he’s ever laid eyes on, and only she makes him forget his past.
Blaike Culpepper once craved adventure and excitement. Until her impetuousness nearly caused her ruin. Now shadowed by scandal, and pursued by a madman, she finds herself obligated to the darkly handsome Oliver Whitehouse. Though she saves the swashbuckling scoundrel’s life and enjoys a forbidden kiss, the infuriating man spurns her.
Dare Oliver risk everything to pursue Blaike, despite the vast difference in their social stations, or should he sail away? Leaving his heart behind?
Caution: This novel contains a dark-tempered, devilishly handsome sea captain, and impulsive, sometimes mischievous heroine, multiple villains you’ll love to loathe, and a foul-mouthed cockatoo sure to make you giggle. Or blush.
For an adventurous page-turning Regency Historical Romance novel brimming with suspense, passion, and tenderness, read the fourth installment of the Conundrums of the Misses Culpepper

The Touch – A Supernatural Story – Part I
About The Touch – A Supernatural Story – Part I
This book is meant to convey the fact that the evil deeds of man affect so many children in this world. These children have no face, no personality, no protector and no power to defend themselves from the horrors we hear about in the news every day. I purposely did not give a great amount of “character development” to these young people in my story because I wanted to show that they are only shadows to most people that read about the devastating effects our world condition creates for so many thousands across the globe. These shadows are not “interesting” characters, they are faceless and forgotten. When Abdul walks down the street in his neighborhood, he sees hundreds of children with the horrible scars of torture, poor conditions and lack of hope. Abdul is written as one of those faceless children. I want the reader to see him as a composite of the thousands like him that also have no face, especially to people like myself and yourself, who are only seeing them as another news story. My desire is for the reader to imagine those thousands of young faces that we will never know because no one will take the time to do a character development story about each of them. Just think about how much beauty and personality each one of these forgotten young people would show us if we could take the time to know them all. I hope that someone who reads this book will see a composite of the forgotten children in my single characters as opposed to seeing only a great “character” study of a few children in this book. The voice gives them power to confront evil with the truth, which is our only defense against those that choose evil in this world. The book is discounted from $3.99 to $0.99.

Author Bio:
Robert E Flynn III is a software-developer, musician, living with his beautiful fiance, Claudia, in San Antonio, Texas. He has two wonderful children, Caitlin and Zachary, who are grown and exploring their own fantastic lives. He has spent his entire life pursuing creative endeavors. Music was his first love and still is, and writing was always part of his life, but one college professor instilled the positive input that pushed him to create his first novel.
− Robert also lived in Austin, Texas for many years and was part of the music scene in the city during that time. He was a member of several bands during those days and tremendously enjoyed playing live in many venues in the music rich area. He also lived in Denver, Colorado for several years when his children were young and then relocated back to San Antonio, Texas to be close to family.
My background story is actually a life-long scenario. I have always looked at life through the eyes of practical thinking. I see a concept and try to look at it with as much logic as I have in my reasoning. When I thought about God, there were so many emotional aspects of my reasoning, due to my upbringing and what I was taught. I spoke to a presence all of my life, knowing with logical thinking that a being such as this must exist and that it was listening to me. I knew enough about science to know that what I heard did make sense up to a point. I simply could not logically assume that the Universe and Life had just sprung forth on its own. Being very creative myself, it made perfect sense to me that a Creator must have crafted this phenomenal world and everything in it, and of course the entire Universe that surrounds the very small planet we live in. I saw Creative genius in every aspect of what I saw in my life. I also saw the history of humankind as a testament to something as well. It made perfect sense to me that we were given only good, but we chose to know all that there is to know, including evil. This choice, as far as my logic was concerned, explained all the inhumanity of life and the inhumanity of man.
This story is about Lucifer, the highest Angel of Creation. He has become irrelevant in the world because Man is so easy to decieve. He has decided that he will now focus his attention on those that are evil and powerful. He has decided that he will torment the tormentors and deliver truth to all of mankind. He is doing this through his own actions, as well as the actions of a certain number of his Angelic flock that followed him as he was cast out of Heaven. He is also using the power of touch, meaning that he has enlisted many children, forgotten, abused, desperate but full of life; and he is helping them push his power into those that are full of power and evil. He also is enlisting many Nephilim, who are the forbidden children of Angels and Man, to assist him in helping the young children of his choice. This is the story that I began to formulate several years ago, even though the seeds of the story started much earlier.
I am now at work on the second book of possibly a three-book series. The second book will focus on the Nephilim and will reveal a number of suprises about the children involved and other aspects.

Al and Sunny Lockwood met after he’d retired from engineering and she’d retired from daily newspaper reporting. They spent much of their time exploring California, Al with his camera and Sunny with her notebook and pen. But a serious car wreck changed their lives.
In 2012, while they waited at a red light, a driver paying more attention to her phone than her driving, slammed into them at 60 miles per hour. The collision totaled both cars and filled the Lockwood’s summer with doctor appointments, pharmacy visits, and endless wrangling with insurance companies.
The wreck also woke them up to the reality that life is fragile and there’s no guarantee you’ll have it for long. “We decided to stop putting off our travel dreams for some day in the future,” Sunny says. “We’ve made ‘someday’ today.”
Their first dream cruise was through the Panama Canal. They loved the trip so much, they wrote a book about it: Cruising Panama’s Canal, savoring 5,000 nautical miles and 500,000 decadent calories.
The book was a finalist in the 2014 National Indie Excellence Awards.
Then Al and Sunny visited Amsterdam and cruised the Mediterranean, stopping at Venice, Athens, Istanbul, and various Greek islands.
Their travel memoir Cruising the Mediterranean won Best Non-Fiction Book from the 2016 Seven Sisters Book Awards, and also won the Gold medal in the 2016 Wishing Shelf Awards (Adult Non-Fiction Books category). It was a finalist (Nonfiction Narrative category) in the 2017 Best Book Awards.
“We write to encourage people to make their travel dreams come true,” Sunny says. “We want our readers to know that travel enhances health and enriches life. So step out of your everyday routine for a week or two and take a chance on adventure and fun.”

Both are bowled over by an intense attraction to one another. The magnetic pull draws them into a passionate embrace within minutes of meeting.

Behind the Altar is the first novel in the Behind the Love contemporary romance series that features sizzling attractions, dramatic confrontations, and intertwined and complicated lives. Bestselling and award-winning author, P.C. Zick, describes herself as a storyteller no matter what she writes. And she writes in a variety of genres, including romance, contemporary fiction, and nonfiction. She’s won various awards for her essays, columns, editorials, articles, and fiction. She writes contemporary fiction and romances as well as creative nonfiction.
Many of her novels contain stories of Florida and its people and environment, which she credits as giving her a rich base for her storytelling. She says, “Florida’s quirky and abundant wildlife – both human and animal – supply my fiction with tales almost too weird to be believable.” The three novels in her Florida Fiction series explore rural, state, and global politics, address the fight between environmentalists and developers and capture the lives of the people struggling to survive it all. With touches of humor and romance, these novels trace Florida’s history, delve into current events, and imagine future impacts of both.
The novels in her Behind the Love contemporary romance series are also set in Florida. From love at first sight, to giving love a second chance to friends turning to lovers, the novels run the spectrum of the contemporary romance genre.
Ms. Zick’s Smoky Mountain Romances are all set in southwestern North Carolina and filled with sweet novellas perfect for retreating into the lives of people living in the mountains.
Her latest endeavor of sweet romances, Rivals in Love, takes readers to Chicago and the Crandall family as six siblings of a famous politician attempt to find romance.
No matter the genre, her novels contain elements of romance with strong female characters, handsome heroes, and descriptive settings. She believes in living lightly upon this earth with love, laughter, and passion, and through her fiction, she imparts this philosophy in an entertaining manner with an obvious love for her characters, plot, and themes.

Welcome to Bettendorf. At first glance, it seems like a typical Midwestern town, but take a closer look and you might be surprised. High schooler Jack Davies sees the darkness coming; he lives with it. Cold voices call out from the closet door; dead hands reach up from under his bed. Although he doesn’t know it, Jack wields a great power.
Now, a smooth-talking preacher has come to town promising freedom and redemption for all who follow his words. But like Jack, this preacher has a secret. Those who heed his call find themselves pawns in his plan to awaken an ancient evil, long ago imprisoned in the dank caves of Devils Glen Park.
With the help of a widowed police officer, a babysitter, and a mysterious spirit called Ava, Jack must find the truth about his hidden power in time to battle the dark forces that have descended upon his town. If he fails, our world will be cast into darkness forever.

Awake Ethics
Hilary Grosskopf, author of Awake Leadership, provides rising leaders with a modern ethical system.
Ethics sounds basic and simple enough; however, in practice, especially in the complex and often competitive environment of business, it can be difficult to really know what the most ethical action to take is and why.
During Hilary’s experience in the corporate world, she found that ethical issues and misunderstandings are the most common leadership and collaboration obstacles. She decided to write the guidebook that she wishes she had as a leader in order to solve ethical issues that are so prevalent for modern leaders.
Awake Ethics offers rising leaders and business owners a shared language for ethics. The ten ethical principles equip leaders with the tools necessary to transform the way you lead, interact, and feel at work. In the guidebook, Hilary analyzes why and how contemporary ethical issues like dishonesty, lack of ownership, anger, and lack of discipline are obstacles to collaboration and progress. She gives insight as to why these ethical issues still exist and are so common in our work environments. She provides solutions, through the principles and stories from her experience, for how rising leaders can overcome these barriers to success. All leaders and organizations can benefit from this guidebook by gaining clarity and confidence through a shared understanding and approach to modern business ethics.

Misheard Lyrics: What if everything you heard was wrong? by Mike Ellsworth
About Misheard Lyrics: What if everything you heard was wrong? by Mike Ellsworth
Misheard Lyrics: What if everything you heard was wrong? is about the ways we misunderstand the world. It is an irreverent and often hilarious novel about misheard lyrics, religion, messiahs, friendship, and the nature of the universe. Each chapter title involves a misheard song lyric and many are discussed in context throughout the novel.
Charles, an agnostic newspaper columnist and struggling novelist, and Chip, a jovial minister who swears like a sailor and runs a Haitian United Methodist church in Miami, discuss Charles’ various attempts at writing a book about messiahs. The pair’s wide-ranging topics include the origin of religion, faith vs. science, dogma, evil, magic, existentialism, the end of the world, the meaning of swearing, masturbation, astrophysics’ discoveries about the Universe, post-traumatic stress disorder, gay marriage, and whether we’re all really just living in a computer simulation.
The book alternates Charles’ attempts at starting his book with the pair’s discussions about the book and religion in general as well as biographical flashbacks from Charles’ life that feature other characters. Edie was Charles’ girlfriend back in 1975. PSTD from her tour in Viet Nam as a photographer for Look magazine complicated their relationship. Karen was Charles’ wife until her lesbian romance with Munch caused their divorce and Charles’ subsequent hatred of gays. Steve was Charles’ piano virtuoso friend reduced to bankruptcy and working odd jobs. Poet Allen Ginsberg also appears as Charles’ mentor.
Along the way, Charles’ blog posts and columns for the Miami Herald give insight into his agnosticism and other extreme beliefs.

Author Bio:
I started writing in third grade (mostly stories about mowing down Nazis) and was editor of my sixth grade newsletter. Years later I went to graduate school for poetry writing, studied under Allen Ginsberg, and produced a poetry magazine, Plainspeak. Subsequently I wrote two cancer newsletters for Duke University Cancer Center and software manuals and training programs for The Nielsen Company.
I started my first novel, Misheard Lyrics in 1989, believe it or not, and chipped away at it infrequently until 2015. I decided at that time that I should take the advice I had given to a friend who “couldn’t find time” to write his own novel: You’ve got time. You’ve got a half an hour a day. Just write something. So I did. With the help fo that friend, I managed to finish Misheard Lyrics on Christmas Day, 2017,
I’ve written seven non-fiction books about social media marketing and social selling and numerous business white papers. But I enjoy fiction writing the most.
Famous People: What Their Lives Reveal by George Kouloukis
About Famous People: What Their Lives Reveal by George Kouloukis
The book is an astonishing discovery! The moment you’ve finished reading it, you’ll be able to learn whether the years just ahead are good or bad for you – and how long this season will last! You can act so accordingly. If you find that a storm is on the horizon, you’ll take shelter in time; if you find that sunny days loom ahead, you’ll take advantage of it before the opportunity passes. In short, you’ll be able to take crucial decisions regarding your career, marriage, family, relationships, and all other life’s issues.
So, the book radically transforms the way we all live today. You will see among other things, why you mustn’t be seized by despair and pessimism when you find you are in a bad season of your life –fearing that this season will never end. Or, why you can dare when you find you are in a good season – fate is with you. Also, you’ll see that when you find you are in a good season of your life, you mustn’t behave as if you assume that this season will never end. On the contrary, you have to take in time the necessary measures to face successfully the problems that may occur in the bad season that will follow.
Also, you’ll learn from this book that you must not blame yourself –and have not any remorse– for the fact that a bad season came in your life. You’ll realize that you haven’t made any mistake to cause the arrival of this season, and you couldn’t have done anything for avoiding this; the bad season would have inevitably arrived in any case. And yes: you’ll see, among the lots of advantages this book offers, that you can entrust an employee or colleague with the solution of a difficult problem –or a politician to govern your country, or even a coach of a basketball team– only if you know they are in a good season of their life, operating so from a position of strength.
You’ll also see that the biographies of 22 famous people cited in the book (from Beethoven and Napoleon to Picasso and Jackie Kennedy) are really super-interesting. You’ll be amazed to learn, for example, why Napoleon the Great wouldn’t have attacked in 1815 the English and Germans in Waterloo – where he suffered total destruction that lead him to death – if he knew the theory of this book. Things may have so taken another course for him, and a new good season, a glorious one again, may have later started for Napoleon.
Also, you’ll see that the discovery cited in this book can also help you to foresee the life evolution of the other people – of your friends and relatives, of famous people (artists, singers, actors, and the likes), or even of the politicians that govern you. You can predict, for example, how long the leader of your country will stay in power after his election, or for how long a famous singer will continue his successful career. All depends on the season – good or bad – these persons are at a given moment, as explained in detail in the book.
Finally, the discovery revealed in the book will radically change in the future the mentality and character of all people. People will become more philosophized, realists, and peaceful –they will know that a good season doesn’t last forever, on the contrary a bad season awaits; it hasn’t any meaning, therefore, being quarrelsome and aggressive. On the contrary, the Man will become tolerant and merciful, and have more understanding towards the others. Superficiality and imprudence, even if they don’t disappear completely, will drastically be reduced.
