Daughter of Darkness
If the Demons Don’t Kill Her, the Hell Hounds Will.
Drawn to the small town of Rocky Hill, New Mexico, Sarah Prentiss immediately finds herself in hot water with the local sheriff. But his problems are way bigger than the thin, six-foot-tall, half-Native-American woman dressed in biker leather and driving a black Ninja motorcycle.
In town to hunt down a two-headed, winged serpent that’s attacking the locals, Sarah and the sheriff soon find themselves contending with the local mechanic who’s actually a demon bent on homicide, a mysterious stranger stalking Sarah, and what just might be a genuine portal into Hell.
Yet, that’s a walk in the park compared to what Sarah discovers at the end of the path. The inescapable truth she learns about herself.
Trust us, this isn’t your typical night in Rocky Hill, New Mexico.

Author Bio:
DAVID MILLER grew up in New York in the early ’70s watching Dark Shadows during the day, the Night Stalker at night, and the weekly Creature Feature movie on an old black & white RCA television set every Saturday night with his father. It was there watching the classic Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolfman movies his love for the supernatural was born.
It’s no wonder now as an adult (chronologically anyway) he writes stories with fantastical creatures, mystical happenings, and occult goings-on, of worlds where anything can happen…and usually does. Nor should it be surprising among his favorite TV shows are Supernatural, Buffy, Angel, and his newest guilty-pleasure; Wynonna Earp.

Author Bio:
I am a traditionally published and Indie author that hails from sunny England (I lie, it’s not really that sunny here!) I’m a hopeless romantic, so of course my main writing focus is romance. I love to create swoon-worth males that steal your breath! I write mature YA, new adult and contemporary romance novels.
As well as being a writer I’m also an avid reader, mum to one little boy, proud chocoholic and an absolute beast at Lego PlayStation games.
If I had to sum myself up in one word, it would probably be ‘daydreamer’ – but unlike most of my school teachers, I don’t necessarily view that as a bad thing. After all, I read somewhere once that books are like waking dreams…

Smiling Blind
Anyone who grew up reading fairy tales and watching Disney films knows the handsome prince always sweeps in and saves the damsel in distress. Dennis F. Hightower created his own version of those tales, starring himself as the prince. But he forgot one thing — the prince is supposed to follow through with a happily-ever-after. He’s not supposed to decide one day to walk away, leaving the devastation of broken promises and lies behind.
Divorce attorney Dori Bye was definitely not looking to be swept off her feet, but that’s exactly what happened when she met Dennis F. Hightower. He appeared to be charming, gentlemanly, powerful and extremely generous. Their courtship included lavish gifts, travel to Europe and the promise of a lifetime of respect, happiness and true love. The romance was like a fairy tale, and the sky seemed to be the limit for the perfect power couple.
During the four-month relationship prior to marriage, Dennis became the Deputy Secretary of Commerce in the Obama Administration. The couple purchased a dream mansion in Connecticut. Then everything began to fall apart. Smiling blindly, Dori realized she was being groomed to be nothing more than a “Washington wife,” continuously pushed into the background as Dennis used his Black Elite status to gain yet more power.
Then, almost as quickly as the power couple became entwined in their relationship, it started to unravel. Dennis resigned his position to return to private industry and board positions, or so Dori thought. Suddenly the big money started disappearing, or appeared never to have been there in the first place. Their dream home was lost to foreclosure. Exposed with the layers of lies, Dennis lost his charm and charisma, along with his power.
This is a true story of romance, white-collar crime and a short-lived marriage, followed by a pattern of deception culminating in lawsuit upon lawsuit, including bankruptcy, foreclosure and one of the longest divorces on record in Connecticut.

Eye on the Ball by Francine Beaton
About Eye on the Ball by Francine Beaton
“How long does it take to fall in love?” he asked.
“Oh, I don’t think it takes long,” she answered. “Sometimes all it takes is a moment, a touch or a smile.”
When he had that conversation with Ange Summers, Jakes du Plessis should have known he was in trouble. He did not speak to women about love. He did not speak to women at all. How did a slip of a girl with eyes the color of a clear winter’s day got under his skin?
When he arrived in Denver in the middle of November with a hamstring injury, Jakes had only one goal. He wanted to use the intensive therapy at the Rehab Centre to be ready for the next season. It was World Cup Year and he wanted to fulfil his childhood dream to play for the Springboks. Jakes believed one time from the bench did not count. He knew what he had to do. He needed to focus, keep his eye on the ball – and stay away from women. He made that pledge to himself, to his friends, to his team and even signed it in blood. To resist falling in love should be easy. Jakes could count the reasons why he could only be friends with Ange Summers on one hand. One, she wore another man’s ring. Number two was his pledge. Three, he was only in Denver for a short while. Four, long distance relationships did not work. Number five, and most important: he was a man with too many scars and issues and not good relationship material.
The demons from his past had Jakes fleeing back to South Africa without saying goodbye to Ange. He needed distance and back in Pretoria, he could focus solely on his rugby and his team. Rugby was what saved him before. Rugby would save him again.
Ange did not make it easy for Jakes. She arrived in South Africa with her twin brother and a friend just when Jakes started to regain his focus. Jakes offered her friendship but Ange did not want friendship from him. She wanted more but if Jakes did not want to commit, she would not wait for him. She had enough of that from her six -year relationship with her former fiancée and would do it for no man again. Not that it was easy to resist Jakes’ crooked smile.
Just when Ange had hope, Jakes apologized to Ange, because he messed up his own carefully made plans. Ange did not want Jakes to choose between her and rugby but Jakes had. She returned to the US to concentrate on her art.
When Jakes sustained a broken collarbone, he thought he lost everything. He might have lost his chance to play in the final of the International Rugby Competition. He might have lost his chance to play in the World Cup. Most of all, he lost Ange. This time he did not even have his team and rugby to help him through it, or so he thought.
Rugby taught Jakes many valuable lessons over the years. He should have known that his team would not drop him. His teammates and friends helped him to see that he might still have a chance. They surprised him with a return ticket to Denver, and two weeks after his operation, Jakes had at last an opportunity to make things right. With the help of Ange’s brothers, Jakes got the chance to grovel, to explain to Ange why he had made those choices. Ange did not need anything else. After all, she did not want a perfect man. She wanted a man who was real, who made mistakes, but one who could admit when he had.
Jakes learned another valuable lesson. Romance did not need carefully made plans. Most of the time, romance and love needed to be spontaneous.

Author Bio:
FRANCINE BEATON is a romance writer who lives in Pretoria with her Scottish husband and teenage daughter. When she’s not reading or writing about love and Happy Ever Afters, she’s most likely busy painting or taking photos of everything that catches her interest. During rugby season, you’ll either find her next to the pitch or in front of the television, following her favorite teams. It’s probably not difficult to figure out why her debut novel, Eye on the Ball, as well as the series, Playing for Glory, has rugby as a theme. Whenever she gets the opportunity, she loves traveling to faraway places and considers Scotland her other home. Eye on the Ball will be released in March 2018 and will be followed by Making the Right Call, the first book in the Prequel Series Kick-Off in October 2018. Francine is a member of the Romance Writers Organisation of South Africa (ROSA), the Romantic Novelist Association (RNA) and the Romance Writers of America (RWA).

R.A. Crawford has always been a big time sci-fi and fantasy fan. Most of his childhood was earnestly consumed by weekend-long Final Fantasy marathons, movies he certainly wasn’t old enough to watch, and books borrowed but never returned to the local library.
After years of procrastination and despite working full-time his passion for rich space opera and high fantasy storytelling led him to finally put pen to paper on his debut novel. The resultant book, PULSE: The Trial, is the first in a series of books centered around an all-female galactic society.
Having never quite grown out of Star Wars novels, Star trek episodes, Green Lantern comic books and Final Fantasy video games Ryan currently resides in Surrey – UK where, along with his wife, he embarks on the journey of teaching his two children why Gimli is the best character in LOTR.
I always wanted to create something but never seemed able to find the time and dedication to pull it off. However, like all parents, after the birth of my kids I was granted control over time and space and became ten times more efficient at getting shit done.
