The Music of Us
In 1970, Lenny can no longer deny that his wife is undergoing a profound change. Despite her relatively young age, her mind succumbs to forgetfulness. Now, he goes as far back as the moment he met Natasha during WWII, when he was a soldier and she—a star, brilliant yet illusive. Natasha was a riddle to him then, and to this day, with all the changes she has gone through, she still is.
“Digging into the past, mining its moments, trying to piece them together this way and that, dusting off each memory of Natasha, of how we were, the highs and lows of the music of us, to find out where the problem may have started?”
To their son, Ben, that may seem like an exercise in futility. For Lenny, it is a necessary process of discovery, one that is as tormenting as it is delightful. He often wonders: can we ever understand, truly understand each other—soldier and musician, man and woman, one heart and another? Will we ever again dance together to the same beat? Is there a point where we may still touch?
This is a historical fiction novel about world war II wounded warrior military romance, a young woman love story. It is also one of family sagas best sellers. Do you like this genre, especially when it is tinged with family saga romance, and wrapped with a second chance in love with a strong female lead? Then this family saga series, Still Life with Memories, is for you.

Author Bio:
Monica L. Smith lives a vast contrast in lifestyles. She has been working in the medical field since 1997, first as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then in 2005 as a Medication Aide and, since 2013, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, where she received her diploma. She then moved to Maricopa, Arizona, with her husband and 3 out of 9 children.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys old-school television shows such as “Perry Mason”, “Matlock”, “Forensic Files”, and more currently, “The First 48.” Her creative side began to emerge when she tried her hand at writing. She published A Softer Side of Me, a book of 10 poems focusing on her “normal” but inspirational life, including her husband, children and career. It spent time as #1 in the poetry genre on Amazon.
But much like her character, there’s another side to Monica L. Smith, who has realized that she has a passion for urban erotic fiction. She enjoys writing what she calls “no-no” sensual sex scenes and while she does explore the dark side, she also firmly believes in writing about finding love, and hopes to inspire women to find their balance between sexuality and true love.

Heaven Vs Reincarnation by Dharma
About Heaven Vs Reincarnation by Dharma
We have moved forward in every aspect of our lives but when it comes to religion we keep regurgitating old and primitive ideas. Our ideas of Heaven and Reincarnation fall into this category. I have asked this question repeatedly – What does one DO in heaven? – and the blanks that i get is scary – we will be spending eternity there and yet few ask this question? I believe Life is a Gift, not a curse, not a jail sentence – Reincarnation says one can have more of this Gift! What a wonderful idea!

Adventures of an Old Maggot
About Adventures of an Old Maggot
“A Maggot is described in the Aussie Slang Dictionary as a “reprehensible character.”
What does an “old maggot” do when his wife dies unexpectedly, and his house burns down?
Set in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, in the early 1970’s, Grindal Falcon, a sixty-seven-year-old retired construction worker, must adjust to a whole new way of living. Unwittingly, he moves in with two gay men. Unable to come to terms with his homophobia, he transfers to a “Gentleman’s Boarding House,” run by a dictatorial landlady and filled with very few gentlemen.
After a run in with his new landlady, and a “For F**k Sake” introduction to his new roommate, Grindal decides it’s time to move on. Luckily, after a chance meeting, he is reunited with his estranged daughter, Clare. At her insistence, he goes to live in her two-bedroomed house, sharing a room with his not so thrilled fifteen-year-old grandson. Clare is involved with a religious group “The Brotherhood of the Second Coming” run by an individual who Grindal discovers is a man who wears a different cloth than that of the “Brother James” he portrays.
The adventures continue, filled with drama and humour as this reprehensible character tries to survive.
