Finding Kylie by Krystyna Allyn

About Finding Kylie by Krystyna Allyn

Max
From the moment I saw her, I knew she was mine, but there was just one problem.
She was a job. A means to an end.
But she didn’t know that.
I should have let her be but I couldn’t. I had to have her, and I would.
Forces beyond my control wanted to tear us apart, but I promised myself I wouldn’t let that happen.
Not with her. Not ever.

Heather
She’d been missing for five years, and it was all my fault.
I was close to saving her, until he came into the picture.
I was a goner the moment he touched me, but I can’t shake the feeling that he’s hiding something important. Something life changing.
I only hope whatever this is between us doesn’t hurt me; I’ll never survive the pain if he’s the cause.

Author Bio:
E. Davies was proficient in real estate ad shorthand (the old-fashioned newspaper kind) by the age of nine. Growing up moving constantly taught him what people have in common, the ways relationships are formed, and the dangers of “miscellaneous” boxes.

As a teen, he tore through a stack of found romance novels, wishing someone had written similar for M/M, though he could never find anything at Chapters or the library. Just after graduating university in 2013, semi-out and clutching his English B.A. for dear life, he stumbled on an Amazon M/M short story. It was a whole new… phrase he dares not repeat for fear of lawyers. It shone and shimmered splendidly, though.

After failing forty times to avoid crafting happily-ever-after endings for steamy short stories, he plunged into romance novels and hasn’t looked back. As a young gay author whose formative gay fictional role models were characters punished for their sexuality, Ed prefers his stories lightly dramatic, full of optimism and hope.

Now out and proud, he writes full-time, goes on long nature walks, tries to fill his passport, drinks piña coladas on the beach, flees from cute guys, coos over fuzzy animals (especially bees), and is liable to tilt his head and click his tongue if you don’t use your turn signal.

The Fire and the Forge by Jack Geurts

About The Fire and the Forge by Jack Geurts

Would you rather be the conquered or the conqueror?
In a world where gods pull the strings of mortals and people wield the power of the elements, the nation of Libera is attacked by its age-old enemy, the Kem, who lay waste to the land and its armies with their demonic powers of fire and steel.

Imharak, a blacksmith’s apprentice, is forced to leave his home town when it is raided and burned to the ground.

Together with his master, Gaius, he flees into the wilderness, heading for Gaius’ brother, who is caught near a city that has just been conquered by the Kem.

What troubles Imharak is not so much the invasion, but the fact that he shares the same powers as the invaders, leading him to question where he came from.

He never knew his parents – he was raised as a Liberite and destined to be a common blacksmith.

His powers had always made him an outcast, and now he starts to think he might have more in common with the conquerors than with the conquered.

An origin myth of gods and heroes will crumble and give way to a history of tyrants, slaves and genocide.

Soon, Imharak will find his allegiances torn between both sides. As he and Gaius journey closer to the lion’s den, Imharak will discover who he really is and what he is capable of.

A bloody, harrowing adventure that takes its cues from ancient civilisations and mythologies, The Fire and the Forge is like no fantasy you’ve ever read.

While a lot of epic fantasy is set in a world resembling medieval Europe, The Fire and the Forge is influenced by ancient Mediterranean civilisations like Egypt, Israel, Carthage and Rome.

It owes more to the world of the Old Testament and Mt. Olympus than the world of knights, wizards and castles.

You’ll find no elves, dwarves or goblins here. No dark lords, dragon-slayers or prophecies.

You’ll find no good or evil, but only a grey sense of morality as people are forced to make life-or-death decisions in a harsh and brutal world.

From the very first sentence, this intimate, character-driven tale will dig its hooks into you and haul you along to the bitter end.

After living in Alaska I moved to Upstate New York where I now live an off the grid lifestyle. I received a degree in Advertising/Photography in 2016, but I have been working with photos as long as I can remember. I was introduced to Photoshop at the age of 12 during homeschooling, and I have had a non-stop love for it ever since.

After college, I began to truly see the need for a budget. My finances were not organized and they lacked any real goal for saving. What I decided to do was allocate my money before it came in. This was key because I would know ahead of time where the money would go, instead of wondering where it went.

By learning to save money and be organized I created this Budget Planner to share with others so that they may be able to find the same financial freedom I am blessed to enjoy.

Wiggaz With Attitude: My Life as a Failed White Rapper

About Wiggaz With Attitude: My Life as a Failed White Rapper

Rapping into a hairbrush, breakdancing on the kitchen floor, carrying around the world’s smallest, quietest ghetto-blaster: in the 1980s, long before the world has heard of Eminem, how does an aspiring white teenage rapper keep going in the face of universal ridicule?

Wiggaz With Attitude is a unique and hilarious account of both the author’s attempts to become Leeds’s greatest ever hip-hop star, and of hip-hop itself. A new sound that changed the way we dance, dress and talk, it gave the author’s generation a fresh perspective on the world. This is their story, told through one wannabe rapper’s rise and fall. Mostly fall.

About Winner Takes All

I’m a dirty-talking bad boy mechanic. She’s a lawyer.
Fate took her away from me.

Everyone wants a piece of me.
And how do I know Bryn isn’t the same?
When I ask her out, she says yes.
When we sleep together, she says she’s having my baby.
Is she telling the truth? Does she want me or my money?
Now I wish I hadn’t won a cent.
When things get dangerous, I realize my love for her is not some childish game.
I’ll risk everything to keep her safe—and the life growing inside of her.

Found

About Found

Ophelia Banner has a thriving psychology practice in San Francisco California. Life is normal or at least tolerable, most days. The problem is that Ophelia isn’t normal, she never has been. She’s been plagued with her curse, as she fondly refers to it, since she could remember. A cruel joke bestowed upon her since birth that enables her to absorb and compel people to share their inner most feelings and secrets. At least it made her a hell of a therapist. In a fated moment everything about Ophelia’s life will change after an encounter with a golden-eyed stranger. She is thrust into a world where historical heroes, Gods and monsters alike are no longer just legends or the contents of nightmares—but frightfully real. Ophelia doesn’t have much time to conform to this new world and the cast of characters that inhabit it because a war is being waged, and has been fought in the shadows of humankind for over three thousand years. No less vexing is the war going on in Ophelia’s heart, torn between destiny and her desire to control her fate—consequently her heart. As conflicts ensue one thing becomes abundantly clear. Ophelia’s curse will either be the weapon that turns the tide in this war—or— may very well lead to the annihilation of our world as we know it. Found is the first book in The Conduit Chronicles series that follows Ophelia along her journey and exploration of this new and provocative world.
