About And Then he was Gone by Joan Hall Hovey

WHERE IS ADAM?
Julie Raynes’ husband has been missing for six months. Devastated and confused, she refuses to believe that he would leave her voluntarily, though her best friend thinks differently. However, her Aunt Alice, a psychic, tells her Adam has been murdered, and when she reveals how she knows this, any hope that Adam is still alive, dissipates.
The police are also beginning to believe that Adam Raynes was murdered. And Julie is their prime suspect. Her life in ruins, Julie vows to hunt down whoever is responsible for Adam’s murder and make them pay for their crime.
In the meantime, David Gray, a young man who was pulled from a lake by a fisherman when he was 9 years old, wakens from a coma after nearly two decades. Unknown to Julie, Adam and David share a dark connection, a darkness that threatens to devour both of them, in a terrifying race with death.

Author Bio:
My love for writing began several years ago after an early retirement from a demanding job that I loved, but also hated because it consumed so much of my time. Now, I am able to focus my time on what I love. Writing romance has been a life long dream and to actually say that I am a published author is beyond what I would have ever expected.

Even though some may say I have a little naughtiness in my books, I look at it as an added bonus for my readers. After all what is a romance book without a little spice.

When I am not writing, I enjoy spending time with friends either at home or out on the town. Mostly, I enjoy a relaxing night at home where I can enjoy a glass of wine in the company of a good book.

Chase the Roar: Becoming Faith Chasers in an American Dream Culture

About Chase the Roar: Becoming Faith Chasers in an American Dream Culture

Have you been scared to make the big faith moves God has placed on your heart?
Our society has created a phenomenon that enables believers to seek a lifestyle that contradicts the original intention Jesus placed on Christians. As followers of Jesus, many of us have lost sight of the Great Commission and have committed ourselves to pursuing a lifestyle that our world perpetuates as the best. We strive for the “American dream” instead of God’s dream for our lives. Instead of being world changers, we become world followers. This book is designed to encourage and equip you to follow through as a man or woman of faith, and, through your example, to influence the next generation to do the same.
In this book, you’ll learn how to:

Discern what the call of God is in your life and your family’s life
Identify crowd followers, acceptors, and chasers
Make big faith decisions more simple
Take practical daily steps in your faith walk
Include your kids in the faith journey
Invest your money in what matters

Faith Chasers, let’s Chase the Roar!

SHADOW PACK

About SHADOW PACK

Being a top predator is of little use when you are your own worst nightmare. Michael Biörn has known this for a thousand years, and he has been running from the ghosts of his past ever since.

After answering Lieutenant Harrington’s call for help, Michael finds himself in Houston staring at a peculiar crime scene. An expert in preternatural wildlife, Michael immediately identifies the killer as a werewolf. The motivation behind the murder remains unclear, but one thing is certain, Michael has no desire to stick his nose in wolf business. After all, the werewolves have hunted down his kin to the brink of extinction, and as the sole survivor of his kind, he strives to keep a low profile.

Michael’s resolve vanishes when he finds Harrington and his wife savagely murdered in their home. As he sets to unearth the true motivations behind his friends’ slaying, the body count rises, and Michael soon becomes a suspect in the eyes of the law. But the police are the least of his concerns; the werewolves have uncovered his true nature, and they are coming for him.

Author Bio:
Marc Daniel is the author of Shadow Pack, an urban fantasy novel and first book of the Michael Biörn series. After spending significant amount of time in Ohio, France, and Montana, Marc is currently living in Texas where he writes as a full time hobby.
Marc developed a taste for mystery novels very young, and was definitely hooked to the genre by age 11 after reading Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. The Queen of Crime’s unparalleled talent for mystery has had a strong influence on Marc’s desire to write and this is reflected in his novels. His taste for science fiction literature came a couple years later after stumbling upon The Dreaming Jewls by Theodore Sturgeon. Simak, Asimov, Van Vogt, Zimmer Bradley, Wells, Bradburry followed in short order. Marc was 18 when he read Frank Herbert’s Dune, his first space opera, and was immediately fascinated by the genre. He spent the next few years reading Space opera sagas almost exclusively (Herbert, Anderson, Bordage, etc) with the exception of the occasional Agatha Christie. He discovered fantasy much later at age 25 with Tolkien’s Lord Of The Rings trilogy. In the years following, his reading started gravitating more and more towards this literary style. Surprisingly enough, it took Marc another eight years to read his first urban fantasy, Patricia Brigg’s Moon Called, and to realize he wanted more. Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files series partially tamed his appetite but his thirst could only be quenched by writing his own series. A year later, Shadow Pack was born.
Marc is currently finishing Unholy Trinity, book #2 of the Michael Biörn series:

Red Star Rising (sequel to Truths Blood) by Tyler Roberts

About Red Star Rising (sequel to Truths Blood) by Tyler Roberts

In the waning years of the American Empire when the liberties represented in the Bill of Rights are a fading memory, the nations reckless spending had left it in economic ruin. Unable to pay its debts, China came seeking payment in real assets. Smuggled nukes took down some cities and power is out across the nation. Burned out houses occupy neighborhoods like rotting teeth in the mouth of a crack addict. The story follows two families (Lang and West families) and their struggle to survive foreign occupation.
(The above is the story of Truths Blood)

In the riveting sequel to Truths Blood, RED STAR RISING, the Chinese military controls the former United States and begins implementing a world wide agenda to extract the resources of the fallen nation, including the enslavement of its people. The story continues with the Lang and West families struggling to survive while attempting to locate and rescue lost family members. In this brutal and unpredictable world, anything can happen.
Both Truths Blood and Red Star Rising take the lessons of history and apply them to modern times. The subject matter is timely and provocative, and conveyed through a spellbinding tale.

Under the Hill by Alex Beecroft

About Under the Hill by Alex Beecroft

Awarded Best Sci-Fi Fantasy in the 2013 Swirl Awards, and originally released in two volumes, Under the Hill: Bomber’s Moon – a Publisher’s Weekly recommended read – and Under the Hill: Dogfighters, this high-octane retelling of the folk tale Tam Lin is now available in a single volume, as the author intended it.

Targeted for kidnap by the Faerie Queen, Ben Chaudhry reluctantly turns to Chris Gatrell and his eccentric Paranormal Defence Agency for help. But it’s hard to keep anything out of the snatching hands of determined elves. Chris himself was abducted from his own time – shot down in WWII, and shot forward seventy years in time, stranded far from his wartime sweetheart Geoff and his Lancaster bomber crew.

In this epic fantasy, Ben finds himself a major player in a game of elven politics that may lead to the invasion of Britain. Chris has to convince the police he didn’t just murder Ben and hide the body. Determined not to lose another sweetheart to the elves’ treachery, he presses the ghosts of his old crew back into action for a rescue attempt.

But Geoff isn’t dead at all – he’s been on ice in Elfland all this time. Now he has a dragon and he’s not afraid to use it. If only he could be entirely sure which of the elf queens is the real enemy—the one whose army is poised to take back planet Earth for elf-kind.

In the cataclysmic battle to come, more than one lover—human and elf alike—may forced to make the ultimate sacrifice.
